  1. I returned to the game recently and have been playing with a few old guildies, one has gotten nothing but the exact same relic 10 times over. Yet here I am swimming in augment mats and set bonuses, I feel really bad for him It would be nice if say you can't get the same item twice (tier wise).

  4. Wrong, this wasn't it. Bestia adds only give regular XP which is popular for quickly grinding to 70. What the OP is talking about is Command XP, there was a fella who grinded to the weekly cap (rank 100) within 3 days by farming elites in a heroic area on Tatooine. Not only did he make sure he hit weekly cap before reporting it and thus leading it to being nerfed, I bet he get to keep all the rewards to. Scummy right? Bioware seriously needs to reconsider the GC XP rates it is far too low, re-grinding old content more times than ever is not fun. I shall not be subbing again after this, also RNG gear crates is digusting far too much junk. The story wasn't even that good.
  5. Some of the instanced heroics are pretty decent as you can just reset them without completing the mission, I however haven't found a reliable source which is better than just doing Uprisings tbh. So no idea where the OP is farming.
  6. It is bugged. The only way around it is to exit, reset phase and re-enter. Me and my gf have been doing heroics during the DvL event and this one always got stuck at 27 or 28 out of 30, the entire instance was cleared.
  7. Pre nerf rank 50 influence Lana Beniko (with all presence unlocks) Enlivening Force would crit tick for 8k on my Sorc, now it crits for 2k. Soothe would do 25k, it now crits for 7.8k. Although I could care less for companions the nerf was clearly far too much. Bioware should of nerfed the presence scaling rather than the base heals, or adjust the nerf to 50% opposed to the current 75%. You have to take a step back and think of the casuals who have next to none of these unlocks/influence/ and how it will effect their game play. This whole troll'ish behavior about nerfing companions has gone too far, sure it was justified before the nerf but it's getting old now. I guess it's a prime example of what to expect from these forums! Time to go find something new to QQ about.
  8. If your companion gets the killing blow you won't get the achievement. You can still use heroic moment/unity, just not the alliance specialist buffs/bolster.
  9. It would seem certain Tech based companions main heal 'Progressive Kolto Scan/Procedural Scan' are bugged and heal for a very small amount in comparison to other Tech companions. Example here is my HK-51 with rank 33/50 influence and here is HK-51's Procedrual Scan ability. Now for comparison here is my Scorpio's influence rank 0/50 and here is her Progressive Kolto Scan ability (Same ability as HK's Procedural Scan, just a different name). As you can see HK-51's ability is clearly bugged as it heals for a mere 3k at rank 33 influence where as my Scorpio at rank 0 heals for 10k. After some searching it would seem other tech based companions are suffering from the same bug, so far I've found: Yuun - influence ability Qyzen Fess - influence ability Also I'm not sure if this is intentional but Force based companion healers are far more effective than their tech counterparts. For example look how my Xalek's Enlivening Force heals for far more than Scorpio's Progressive Kolto Scan.
  10. Hello! <Wiping As Intended> is a PvE progression which has recently transferred over to The Red Eclipse, formerly known as <Defiance> from The Progenitor. We started progression at 2.0, our most notable achievements being Dread Fortress NiM power and Dread Palace NiM power. We took a break shortly after 3.0 (Tos & Rav HM 4/5) and have since returned to the game. Currently we're in search of 2 DPS and 1 Healer to join our main team.   12. Haha, just being sarcastic but still. I don't see anything wrong with that, the new companions could use more variation. Looks weird seeing a bunch of Lana's running around in ugly armor.

Run the Weekly Heroics in a group of 4 and complete the bonus mission, the credit reward counts for each member of the group so you can make 15k - 18k x4 and then another 18k for the heroic mission completion itself. That's roughly 80k per heroic. Plus you get the heroic transport which makes it very efficient. Also invest in gathering crew skills such as slicing, underworld trading and sell materials which are heavily used by crafters, such as augment materials. Stacks of veda cloth are selling for 200k+ on GTN. Enjoy!
  15. Yeah...was all find after the patch until I entered Legacy of The Rakata HM. My GPU had a heart attack several times xD stopped as soon as I came out of the FP.

  17. Threads about this issue are all over Customer Support and General forums, yet still no acknowledgement. Had a lot of help from Owen Brooks myself and now the game no longer stutters but there is still a noticeable difference in FPS in comparison to pre 3.0 and now. We can dream I guess.

  19. My bad thanks! Posting at late hours isn't a good idea, edited my mistake! Like Nala said, Lacerate has greatly improved in compassion to the pre 3.0 version and as always if there is a AoE heavy encounter you can just spec Hatred for Death Field and use Lacerate for Lambaste. The AoE capability is there but perhaps not as...'tweaked' as say Force Storm
  20. Hello! I'd like to discuss with you all about our rather 'limited' capability in regards to dealing area of effect damage. This isn't simply another QQ thread, just merely out of my own interest and I'd like to hear your opinions and feedback on what buffs/changes you'd like to see to our AoE. As we all know with 3.0 we to our Orbital Tickle/XS Tickle Flyby. There was an additional change to Fragmentation/Thermal Grenade and it now "Deals X kinetic damage to the primary target and X kinetic damage to up to 7 standard or weak enemies within 5 meters of the primary target". In other words your secondary targets take a lot less AoE damage than the pre 3.0 Fragmentation/Thermal Grenade, thus lowering the effectiveness of the ability. But they buffed Carbine Burst/Blaster Volley right? Well not really, the AoEs other classes received/had buffed makes it pale in comparison (Vengeful Slam/Vigilant Thrust, Force Storm/Forcequake, Suppressive Fire/Sweeping Gunfire, Sweeping Blasters/Hail of Bolts, etc). On my Operative my Carbine Burst damage is 2312 - 2587 (BiS 192) barely anymore damage than Rifle Shot and that is with the Imperial Weaponry utility! In addition to the 15 energy cost it requires and consumes Tactical Advantage/Upper Hand our main resource for DPSing and healing, I don't even... Firstly I'd like for them to remove the Tactical Advantage/Upper Hand requirement and then either; A). give a small buff to the damage and lower the energy cost to 10 or 12. OR B). buff the damage significantly and remove the energy cost but give the skill as cooldown of 6-9 seconds. Changes like these will aid the Operative/Scoundrel by lowering bias towards the class, increasing AoE capability, lessening the need to reroll different classes for boss encounters and so on and so forth. So what changes would you like to see if any and why?
  21. Healed both of these HM's on my Operative and Scoundrel. I actually rather enjoyed it, it's not overly difficult but it's a step up from the regular HM's. Blood Hunt first boss is a DPS check, as a healer I keep the boss dotted up if I am pugging. Only issue on these fights is like any other fight - if people stand in AoEs and/or take unnecessary damage. You always have time to pop something to survive but if your having to heal modtly yourself due to adds for longer than a few seconds then its simply a DPS/Tank issue as they are not picking up the adds fast enough.
