  1. I agree there needs to be something for the long term subscribers. I knew a great many players (at the time) including myself who were only remaining subscribed through the content drought to receive the Nico rewards (and later the HK chapter reward). However if all these rewards are just going to be brought back what's the incentive to stay subscribed? If a subscriber bonus pops up most of the time now it's a re-skinned pet, nothing of any significance. I agree 100% with the OP, there needs to be a Veteran style reward system (even though I've never played EQ this sounds great) to incentivise long term subscriptions. This would probably be a fairly straightforward system to implement and I believe it would have an immediate effect on subscription numbers (providing the rewards and known in advance and are significant). Players who are on the fence about re-subbing or not may do so simply because they are feeling WANTED. After all, isn't that the reason most players unsub, because they don't feel the game is providing anything to keep them interested?
  2. Currently the Guild Master position of a guild is automatically transferred after a month of not logging into that character. Not a month of logging into your account or game time, just a month on that single character. Auto-transfer needs to be run of logging into your account, it's that simple. I've recently lost a guild (even though I was actively playing and subscribed the whole time) because the one character that had GM was not logged in for a month (my poor light sorc has had a tough run). This might have worked back when the most valuable asset a guild had was its Bank, but with Stronghold that changed significantly. The whole system of auto-transferal is a bad idea, as it stands CS will transfer it for you if the GM is inactive for too long and guild members see an issue. However, as it stands now anyone logging in at the right time (even a new recruit, CS claims it doesn't pass to recruits if there is an active officer but I've seen it happen multiple times) can inherit an entire guild with billions of credits of assets. Should this happen CS policy is NOT to help you unless the other party agrees to give leadership back (which would mean a ticket is not necessary) Either auto GM transfer needs to be account activity based OR customer service policy needs to be significantly reworked to assist Guildmasters who get shafted by the system because at the moment it is significantly lacking This probably won't be read because it seems almost nothing from this board actually makes it into the game or results in policy changes. If it does however I believe it would be a colossal step forward in customer service and guild management.
  3. I know it's not planned but just wondering if there is any possibility of updating the mats that drop from the seeker droid to the newest Tier 10? There are surprisingly still a fair few of us doing it and it would be great to be getting something useful out of it while we do it. I'd imagine it would be a very easy to do change.
  4. Just in case anybody checks this and is wondering. Almost all the custom chat commands for channels are broken and have been for years. Only ones that seem to work are /cjoin [name] and /cleave [name]
  5. All this would do is make an unbalanced match worse, If your team got farmed in the first 2 minutes of a match and you lost all your good ships, your team would just progressively become worse until you stood no chance whatsoever. Interesting idea, just wouldn't work with this game play style
  6. Hi eric, Back in Jan we were all told in the announcement livestream for TYTH that all five bosses of Gods from the Machine would be released before the end of the year. Probably the biggest question I have in regards to the roadmap is if this deadline is still in play or if it has been set aside for a Feb/March completion or perhaps even later? Quite a few of us are concerned that this is looking less and less likely with each update. thanks

In regards to the roadmap and the length of time it's taken to produce I'm hoping for: 5 paragraphs of meaningful comments on what's new and interesting coming out. but at the same time I'm expecting: Gree returns - week1 Rakghoul returns - week2 Nightlife returns - week3 bounty week is back! -week4 New cartel market packs - week5 New boss comes out - week6 rest of new operation won't be finished until 6.0 new flashpoints for intro to 6.0 - week15
  8. I like this idea, mostly because then I can get more people saying "how the hell did you get 53k achieves". That being said I may or may not being using this thread to wave my achieve points around.... Can we please make this a thing
  9. So this post is about something that I've noticed for a while but never really bothered to make a post about. Does everybody remember when Customer support back at end of Season 7 went through and announced they were removing cheater/wintraders/exploiters whatever from the leaderboards after the season finished? Well this is about those people, who we all now know (some of us before the actual investigation as well) as cheaters being allowed to go back to getting ranked season rating. I run a PvP leader-board tracking sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1p_W5kr4koJlbAH6eQlLsObuSTF4S567N706loqofMHU/edit?usp=sharing and if as you can see after season 7 was concluded and the wintraders removed from the board they simply reappear in season 8 probably back to their same old tricks. Now I'm not pointing any fingers but as I'm sure from my sheet you can figure it out for yourself. Most of, if not all of us know several people/guilds on our servers who participate in wintrading,people who no matter how many times are reported seem to get away with it season after season. So my question is this, what do people think should be done about these people as a whole? I personally believe that people should be banned from ranked on their account forever after a third warning if they are found to have cheated, even if they are removed from the boards it still has an impact on matches every day and effects honest PvPers who just want a fair match. (and before you start lets keep meta comp queue syncing complaining out of this thread please, plenty of other posts for that)
  10. I have to admit, I'm a little dissapointed that this was even considered a worthy reward for Nightmare Operations (Master mode, whatever the cool kids are calling it these day). The Mods you get in the gear is arguably worse than you get in Hardmode with the 244 blue enhancements in many cases having the same stats as the 242 golds from HM (Veteran Mode in new and 'trendy'? speak), the only part that is actually an upgrade is the armoring which comes out random anyways making it hard to gear. It also doesn't make any sense at all that easier content give you a token which lets you choose which set bonus to purchase. It seems to me like a massive FUBAR on behalf of the design team. I'd expect this sort of loot system to be put into easier content, 'little effort, little reward so be happy you get anything' kind of deal but to put the worst system of gearing in the most difficult tier almost makes me think it was a mix up and supposed to be implemented at a lower tier, I mean really can we all just admit this wasn't a good idea and move forward? (or just forgo the admitting part and pretend it never happened, i'd be ok with that too)
  11. So with 5.2 you've decided to drop shrouded Crusader relics down from 700ish Absorb and Shield down to 470? This is more than a slight nerf and to be honest it was one of the few decent tanking relics acting as a minor cooldown. Assuming this is intended can we at least get all the tanking relics removed from the game at this point i think it's just confusing people on what they need to be using. Honestly though why fix something thats not broken?
  12. As one of the few GSF pilots on the Ebon Hawk left. I must say I have never seen this glitch to which you refer. Is strafing a thing? yeah it is and it seems a few pilots know how to use it effectively to seem like they're shooting through objects but I can assure you that this is not the case.

Yeah Did I abandon my sorc and it's 4 clones for another class? of course I did Do the devs know it's completly screwed? yes Have the devs done ANY class changed since 5.0 at all? not really Will complaining on the forums make them fix it any quicker? Highly doubtful Just pick up another class and keep moving. It sucks I know but not much we can do about it, the devs are busy working on new PvE content so probs wont start class balancing for a while

  15. This already exists in Domination. It wasn't implemented in Team Deathmatch because people could hide behind capital ships for cover and win the match that way. It does blow because peopel can then spawn farm you but not much you can do other than change spawn location
  16. Can we trade that stupid immobilize saber strike ability for a viable DPS spec? Light DPS is the only Ranged DPS spec I can play well and it blows really hard right now

This is starting to become a real issue on Ebon Hawk There's people (more specifically one operative who shall go unnamed to not violate ToS) who are circumventing ignore lists, forming raids and then changing loot rules to Master Loot just before final bosses die stealing all the loot. So the suggestion is simple. While a boss fight is in progress lock the ability to change loot rules like you do with disciplines and utilities. This will solve the issue of players stealing loot on fights. Because to be honest it really kills the interest in running content when people go ahead and steal stuff like this. Should be a really simple yet useful QoL change

  19. Hi, Mostly just posting this as a question to the devs/community manager. It was said that "• The battle ends when one side hits Dark 5 or Light 5. A victory state kicks in, it will last for an hour. Both sides will get some great stuff during this victory state. You will earn dark and light side tokens during this victory state." You then went on to say that bosses will spawn around the galaxy for us to beat during this victory event. My question is what happens with timezones? For example, I grind out Dark points in order to help win, I've been up for 19+ hours and decide I need some sleep. However while I am sleeping the Dark wins and the 1 hour of "victory state" occurs. Do I miss out on all the bonuses or do these bosses stick around longer than an hour?
  20. Yeah, just jump in the everybody else bandwagon. Only month and a half or so until early access X-pac drops, current subscription will last at least until that long. Play all of 5.0 content in early access or in the first week. unsub until new 5-boss ops drop. Simple. A new op takes them AT LEAST 5 months of work if they are doing nothing else, so chances are we won't see the op until at least march if its got some work put into it now
  21. <Corruption> is an Imp side HM raiding and PvE guild currently seeking a PAIR of Tanks and a DPS for our Primary Raid Team due to changing commitments of some members. Our primary goal is to clear HM and NiM content in a fun and constructive atmosphere. For progression you will need to be online 5 to 10 minutes early. StarParse and TeamSpeak are Mandatory Due to our willingness to teach the more specific mechanics and techniques needed in HM, all a successful DPS applicant will need is the ability to pull 5.4k+ single target parses in live fights and willingness to improve as needed. As well as a general knowledge about the mechanics of most HM ops in addition to extensive knowledge of own cooldowns and group utility. In addition to the DPS we are also seeking 2 Tanks (Pair of tanks who have worked together before highly desirable). To be successful a tank MUST HAVE experience in HM’s (EV and KP don’t count) and extensive knowledge of their class as well as knowledge of a secondary DPS spec. Raid times are Friday & Saturday @ 8PM EST (Please arrive 10 minutes early) Please contact Scourgeofworlds for applications and general inquiries

I don't see any issue with inventory managment, you must not be doing a good job of it personally, you have more than enough cargo bay slots, inventory slots and legacy bay slots once fully unlocked not to mention all the additional characters you can use as pack mules if you really need them. Maybe you have a hording problem? About the only 2 things I agree with in the whole post, The credits in the legacy bank would be very useful and it's already implemented in the guild bank so why not allow it for legacy as well? As for the dyes and weapon tuning, it's a kick in the pants for dyes to be single use items, accidentally using a good dye module results in it being lost for all eternity so a collections system for this would be nice
