  1. Yep I had that problem as well! Happens to the best of us.
  2. My dumb *** did manage to get my new heatsink today but I completely forgot about the tournament.
  3. On BC, my experience is about 50/50. Depends on if pubs are rolling sage stacking premades or not. If they are, we lose. If not, we win.
  4. Well, to be fair, there's LOADS of chinese gold sellers in WZs:rolleyes:
  5. Honestly the parts you use aren't going to matter too much. This game's engine is bantha poodoo, and you will lag. Your current setup is good enough though so I wouldn't worry about adding new parts yet.
  6. Follow your dreams. Don't stop believin'. I'm living proof.
  7. Update: I'm a maybe. I'm having to replace my heatsink and that's not scheduled to arrive until the 22nd. Could arrive earlier but for now feel free to bump me down to make room for someone else. Best of luck, gutted I may not make it!

  9. I have a feeling OP hasn't had actual human interaction for some time. Stay safe OP.
  10. I honestly don't see a whole lot of life in it. After 4.1 hit I saw a steep population decrease on my server; the fleet averaged about 140-150 people on at prime hours, then it turned into maybe 120 tops. According to torstatus.net, the population in both NA and Europe across all servers is consistently 'light' and nearly every server's population is dropping. I give this game maybe 2 years tops of active life and I blame unrewarding chance packs with criminally low drop rates, a criminally overpriced CM (26 bucks for a bantha mount, get outta here...), poor servers, long gaps between content, class imbalance, reportedly bad customer service (I haven't had much of a problem but it seems a lot of people have) and for the love of god, THE MOST COMPLETE PILE OF CRAP ENGINE I'VE EVER SEEN. I think we'll see more servers getting merged within the next year, then the game will stop being regularly maintained in the second year, then a complete shutdown by the third. And that's best case scenario.
  11. I really enjoy playing Vengeance; it hits for a decent amount and the rotation is fairly easy to use. I think this is one of those things where it's up to playstyle as they're both fairly different.
  12. Yeah I've seen plenty of obvious bots farming slicing nodes...they never get banned though no matter how much proof you send in. I guess naked characters disappearing and reappearing, going from being right next to you to 100m away in 2 seconds, spinning in circles for hours on end etc is completely legit to BW.
  13. The lag would be unreal. If so many people are averaging 15-20 at best with 8v8, 16v16 would be a nightmare. Your idea isn't a bad one though, just that it wouldn't work well with the poor engine and servers. If those things weren't a problem, I'd definitely like to see some full scale WZs.
  14. In arena I always focus the healer primarily and help pick off low health targets meanwhile spamming aoe dot spread. I try to use abilities like force push to move them away from their healing targets and then I generally keep whacking on them and they'll drop eventually as long as my teammates are keeping the rest of their team off me. If they're the kind of healer that focus heals themselves and jets their hp from 0-100 like it's nothing then I usually ignore them; they won't be healing or spamming bubble on their teammates so they're not really a problem. If you see a dps is already keeping the healer busy, focus on killing the other enemies unless it looks like the dps needs help. If everyone stacks on the healer they basically become training dummies and I've seen teams get wiped in seconds because of it. Coming from someone who loves arena and typically doesn't lose at it.
  15. Welcome to the club. I stopped buying chance packs in 2013. In fact, that whole experience with that has made sure I never spent any real money on the CM again. Like I keep saying...short term gain, long term loss. Chance items are risky business.
  16. I hope whoever bought my supercrate got something nice
  17. I've just been using my monthly CC to buy packs/supercrates and sell em cheap on the GTN...I swore off chance packs years ago. It's a stupid move from BW filling these things with so much junk...they're getting short term gains but long term losses.
  18. Agreed. Queshball map is godawful...and I'm ok at huttball!
  19. The hero engine is very likely the worst engine I've ever seen a game run on which would explain why SWTOR is literally the only game to use it.
  20. Well perhaps you're right and I spoke too soon. It's back at it. I've ordered some thermal paste and I hope that'll help. Still wonder why this particular game runs 20-30 degrees hotter than other modern AAA titles though.
  21. You'd be a rich man. Here, lemme add another dollar to the pile. I unsubbed a few days ago.
  22. So they further break PVP by "fixing" something literally nobody cared about in the first place...
  23. Coming in 4.1...WE BUFFED GRASS AND FIXED SNOWBALLS LOL #15DollarsAMonth
  24. Same deal...the lack of any word on class balancing for 4.1 is ultimately what drove me to unsub, but frankly I probably would have stayed subbed if the game wasn't running on probably the worst engine I've ever seen. ESO's graphics are much more demanding and PVP has many, many more players involved and runs like a charm for me. I get single digit fps with all settings minimal with SWTOR. A few days ago SWTOR was also causing my CPU to overheat, running 20-30 degrees hotter than Fallout 4 or COD Advanced Warfare, causing my computer to randomly crash. It's sorted itself out now, but the performance of this game is just terrible. Just merge all these low-pop crappy servers into one strong, dedicated server and I'd imagine that's problem solved for a lot of people.
