NiM S&V 3.0
Dark_Mithrandir replied to JediWilmsy's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Do not worry because at the moment is really really easy. You should only need 1 trial/error run to learn ad get basic knowledge of NiM tactics and then ready to go for dragonslayer! Numberwise is pretty much a joke. Damage is low low (Except olok droids but that can be sorted) and dps checks very easy -
People will do that work for me, some already doing. Ok i do another quite easy: The guide says healers are more clicker friendly? good joke Healers are very clicker unfriendly imo. By clicking people in the ops frame i do not call people a "clicker"..... If i've to say what's the best class for a clicker that is definetly a rDps class. Scoundrels are the worst single target healers atm... just saying

I think I made a mistake by going with assassin.
Dark_Mithrandir replied to EliteSeraph's topic in Shadow / Assassin
You're missing playing and experience. Low lvl starter player cant know if a class was/is/will be good/god/mediocre/etc. I think u made a mistake by asking this with your actual level/experience -
Only that any decent team/player doesnt have any problem with any SM at all. People should start accepting that they maybe not that "decent" because they reached lvl60 and did lvl55 operations with 5 levels more and 5 times more gear than needed. We want Star wars old republic be like a Hello Kitty MMO? I dont want. PD: Btw never played hello kitty, it can turn out its harder than SM OPS

Kicked from guild raid group because of Bulo, somehow i think this title is misleading MAYBE your guild say that but maybe what they wanted to say was: - No way we are taking a mDps that is taking so many avoidable dmg and at the same time doing very bad dps. They found what they thought was a good argument and used it (its obv not) I dont know if this is true or not but well you didnt gave us enough info to make judgement either. Aside from that what people is saying is overall right.

Do you really think i never played commando/merc because i dont put it on my signature? Do you know lots of hardcore progression healers moved to merc heals for 3.0? Do you know that the hardest pve fight of the moment (Revan hm) world first zorz was done with 2 mercs healing? Merc healing is freaking good and the class is overall OP and probably needs a nerf. Close the thread already lol

The new Ops are just too hard!
Dark_Mithrandir replied to gabigool's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Nah, People is geared for it. But people is not SUPEROVER*****GEARED for it. PuGs system to get the ops done is wearing 5 levels more of the required gear. When they face an ops that requires similar gear they are doom. This sm can be done perfectly with old oriconian gear (180 not optimized) -
Kolto wave its not a heal peps should use on cd. That's why the 6 pieces bonus is **** (1 sec less on cd), and the 2 pieces bonus of old gear is amazing (15% moar on our recuperative nanotech) so this is a no brain decision. That said, I like Kolto wave, it takes knowledge, skill and awareness to use it properly. It's a WWF heal that makes difference between goods and bads (Where,When and Fast)

Agreed BW give them and overpowered healer class fotm and they cry anyway. GG LOL Seriously next post will be some vanguards/pt crying :rak_02:

You didnt get my point. When a tank is at risk to die you dont choice between Infusion and Injection, you choice between surgical Probe and Kolto injection. Why? Basically because Infusion is a 80% HOT. It means that until 8 sec you dont get the full of this ability and it heals for less? than surgical probe at the start with a 1,5 sec delay. So the tank will be at risk to die for the first 1,5 sec and then for the next ability window. When a tank is about to die you go for either: - Fast insta heal if you think he is gonna die at any moment - Larger delay but BIG instant heal that will give you time to hot him with probes-infusion whatever you want after that.

At the moment my opinion about KOLTO WAVE is: 2 -> very bad 3 -> bad 4 -> Average 5 -> Ok/Good >5 -> Nice! BiS bonus is obvious atm: 4 Pieces of new bonus and 2 Pieces of old dread master bonus You comparing 2 abilities that are very different. Kolto Pack has to be used as a hot, Underworld Medicine has to be used as a big burst health recover. If you fear a tank is gonna die you will try first to put him outside death risk. Infusion even if its 0,5 sec faster than injection is not your best option there never will be, your options are EM/SP or UM/Injection. The thing here is: You have time for a big cast? or you will need first emergency medpac and then check again? At the moment unless i find a fight where it would shine a lot more than i expect i would NOT take dscan on the move. HPS doesnt mean your healer is doing well AND Pulling HPS numbers as scoundrel heals is a joke (easy). All in all, i like a lot the new scoundrel and im having lots of fun with it. The worst thing we have is our dps as a healer. Its really bad

DP SM 8man has been done with 3man more than once. (4 is much more easier tho, i had fun time with 3 , did with sage, sent, scoundrel) 16 Man is doable with 6-7 man? i dont know the exact number for 16. Its definetly doable with 1 tank. The only problem there was skill and/or gear Btw in bestia normaly healers take aggro from adds bc well they aggro everything on the room so tanks have a hard job controlling everything.

Dont make a healings class energy depending on channel
Dark_Mithrandir replied to Qwurdilu's topic in Scoundrel / Operative
You shouldnt go so low at energy that a interrupt on dscan ****s you completely. And if you're so low and depend only on dscan to save peps and get energy back you're pretty ****ed anyway. Not saying that some well place interrupt on dscan can be good at some point but imo there are better abilities to interrupt. -
Game Update 3.0 Class Changes: Scoundrel + Operative
Dark_Mithrandir replied to TaitWatson's topic in General Discussion
Brontes,Raptus and Council. Tyrans can be solo healed "easily" To be honest tho that content has been dmg nerfed to the ground. Calling it NiM is a bad joke. It's just a good place to train deeps -
I dont believe this. For me its all about being fast at the start of the challenge. If im fast at the start the challenge is a cake. Problems only appear if for any reason the healers start "slow" or without coordination (aka lose too much time to cleanse themselves and the add, yeah mouse clicking the add is a pain in the *** xD) Bad RNG only will make me fail the challenge if i already started slow/bad. On good start it rly doesnt matter.
