Hi, Returning player looking for latenight raiding action. By late i mean anything starting between 21-22GMT. Weekends (Friday,Saturday) are good to stay until very late. Main lvl70 scoundrel heals / dps (can do both, gear still low) everything else is still lvl65 (rep/imp alts) Experience is all 8 mode raid done, all timed runs - deposer and dread master with the NiM buff still active - mainly as a healer. Easy-going freedrama but trolling a bit is always encouraged Have fun

For the next content that should be released. But if you're not gonna release anything else anymore maybe you're right

The OP played this game since long time ago. He felt attached to the people he played with and he enjoyed a lot the stuff they did together (basically raids but other stuff too) Now these people left the game basically because all the sentences writed are in fact truth. The OP is weak guy who had hope there was still time for a change. But well, i guess BW is feeding on that hope for too much time already. PD: Yet from time to time i still enjoy cracking some skulls in pvp tho, nowadays it's supereasy, it's farming

None of the sentences are lies, so if you think that they are saying "lets point our how bad this game sucks" it's actually you who are pointing it. There is only some funny sarcasm in a few of them xD.

- You like to play half-sleep - You play to watch cutscenes - You love companions aka as pets - You like to level same class several times only to romance differents companions - You like to level same class several times only to change a few choices - You're relied when you see that none of the 2 last things matters at all, the end is always the same - You like to play mmo solo - If you're forced to group, it's only to go eseless for social points - You dont want to be spoiled about what they will do next in-game, it's better to know nothing. - You understand class balance is not good, sages/sorcs have to be better - You understand that there is no reason to group up more than 8 people. No engine can work with that. - You like to spend money with cartel market. CM is so lovely. - It's obvious that the best gear in the game has to be given randomly each week in different operations, but never the hardest ones. Bah i dont care about loot I care about new content. New HM and NiM content that poses a challenge to the teams that were the bread and butter of swtor in old and better days. They could add 232 gear in this old - rescaled - retuned (easier) - replayed NiM OPS and i wouldnt care. Gearing without an objective has no meaning to me. Meanwhile i'll pvp once in a while - until sub goes out - and probably after that too -

Uhmmmm ,wasnt people in this game for story? I dont think there is any need for pretty much anything to see the KoTFe amazing storyline where choices matter. PvE Ops are a joke, no need to regear anything for that. So again, i can only se this hurting Pvpers (if they still play here)..... that poor guys will need to buy augments again to fight each other without gear gap. In the last 2 years they received nothing, but had to regear several times already.

Raiding progression scene is dead since that patch that introduced a 204 mainhand for killing a bugged easy boss. I think that was like 10 months ago? Everything after that is easier than it was at that time. BW is doing a master job killing any sign of interest in fun raiding and making everyone feel immortal and OP Hey, at least they are good at something because 4.0 story is... let's say it's underwhelming imo. PD: That crystal you talk about, just lol, it's bw laughing hard at raiders.

That was already low for a sorc at lvl60 in 3.0 and i've not check it, i'm not playing anymore at all, but i guess that classes do more dmg at lvl65 than what they did at lvl60 pre4.0 I may be wrong and they nerfed them tho. You never know with bw devs one day they say better than crossserver... or never again 14 months without.... and then we got this lol

I think it was clear by now that tunning in this game == killing stuff doing 1,1,1,1,1,1,1 and ofcourse without moving. lfmao State of the playerbase and the game is so extremely bad atm, what a shame honestly. Dunno if it will recover someday or its death blow

Pretty much all Top-tier guilds-players left before 4.0 and are playing other stuff. They may come back from time to time for 3 days - 4 days and run out again. It's called nostalgia.

What did you expect? I'm actually amazed you're still raiding here... At the moment i think the players are to blame not bw. Bioware made their statement pretty clear with all 4.0 stuff. IMO It's the raider playerbase who doesnt want to understand. They killed the old concept of progression-gear-raiding dunno why u bother. Have fun raiding. That's it U wanna old-style raiding-progression? search somewere else. In this game you will have the best gear going into the easiest ops (hello ev). Doing the hardest operations? meaningless... You know why? Because you have that achievment and it's 2 years old. Actually it's worse, 2 years ago it was harder.... I've to blame myself too. I subbed 30 days i thought it cant be that bad. Seems i did huge mistake. Edit: Hey, i saw the history of kotfe. It's kinda meh but it took 2-3h. Almost like same time and price of cinema. Dont wanna spoil anything. Im not speaking for them but i rather think they quit because game was too easy for them. More than 12 months without any challenge to overcome. Progression guilds need challenges, without it they die. Simple as that. So they quit. Only normal. Some have fun trying to overcome difficulty. If the game doesnt give that to them they will look elsewhere.

Reality is simple. BW decided to wipe the entire "hardcore" PvE community out of the game and probably the 80% of semi-hardcore with them. Probably they think they will return for "5.0". Some will, some not. Story fans think it's not a problem because we are the 1%. It can actually be true. We will see. IMO 4.0 is just some youtube cutscenes. I rather play offline rpg for that.... 6 days of sub left for me.

I would not assume is a lie. He could had join a random ravagers run of 1 good team that was lacking 1 guy that day and now be 5/5. It's absolutely possible. Edit: I know several teams that have done stuff like that before

And some people actually play and do ops with their alts and wear gear not because are shiny but because it helps doing hard operations. They can have the alt they wanna gear locked and farm gear for him with another alt/main unlocked. The only reason they are there is to get gear for some alt. The old rule about you can't need because your char has better gear was only reasonable pre-legacy

Raiders dont count ziost. It's 1 single boss and actually its been only a problem than anything else. At least before 3.0 they released NiM mode. Not even that this time

Just before last expansion the very same DEVS said that yeah 1 year between raids was actually too much and they didnt want it happen again, sounded like a promise to raid community. A BIG Lie at raid community face. I would love if all raid community unsub this game until they bring new MMO content. Myself i'm just waiting for my last 10 days to run out like pretty much all my guild/s did. It's 1% so you will be fine without us BTW pvp comunity can unsub too, they have been lied too for a long time already
