Its rather bad compared to the others, but I am one of those easy to please types lol. I wish It made me feel like my char was the involved one and not merely in the orbit of the great being known as Thanaton. Oh well, still fun to play.

So Q- Do u play all classes to know them best? Or have u studied them some other way? Ur insight is welcomed. I have played all classes to L40, but hated it. Only one i enjoy is BH

I know this is far fetched and yes I am aware that Imperial players are probably the worst on this server compared to others. I am looking for a guild to join that has pvp as a focus and is actively trying to become better at pvp... Not looking for drama, I don't leet speeeek. But I play well and I am hoping to join a group of people looking to excel at pvp on this server. Heck, if my old RP server with its tiny server pop. could turn out fantastic pvp guilds, I am sure this server can turn out 1 imp pvp guild with x4 times the pop. on server. Right? I would like to be a part of that growing process. Please post here if you are looking for a solid fighter.

I run both and greatly enjoy them. As a PT, one thing I really enjoy is the moment when a light wand waver jumps to me thinking he will whittle me down, then I crush him. Before they die, they are usually trying to get away from me, then I grapple them back and finish them. As a merc, we are not in the best place for survivability vs. other classes, but still, the dps is fine and you can surprise people with how fast you can focus someone out. With the lack of survivability, I am more cautious here and definitely try to limit my exposure. If I blast someone down, I quickly depart (even if other targets are present) and try to avoid being seen in the scrum, then try to come at them from another direction if I am able. Sadly, most players who know the classes well, will know the merc is an easy target. This often leads to you being primaried.

I think also it might be a matter of attitude. I had politely (said please) asked a tank spec jugg to put his guard on our 1 healer (don't see them much on imp side) since that same healer kept getting crushed last match. He said "#### urself bro" I think it has much to do with the imp side feeling they have to build up their evil self image lol Of course we lost terribly.

I just don't see this ever happening sadly. This game is designed around the light wand wavers. The other classes were designed to be at a disadvantage to them to help the wand waver players feel epic and godly. When I want to own, all the time, I play a light wand waver. When I am into feeling like the downtrodden underdog, I put on me bounty hunter suit. Its fun in its own way too.

I don't have much thought for the OP, but my search brought this up. The new patch with 3 tiers of pvp level groups is giving longer wait times. My working hours have changed and I play during the night now, so it is worse of course. bioware mentioned in their notes that they would change the level tiers if wait times got longer. I would like them to change it to only 2 tiers to make the pvp happen more often because this is not fun. I don't like pve in any game, so I am hoping they do something to correct this.

I think it has improved and I want to like it. I have a bit of heat management issue with it right now due to rotation ideas. It is more work than pyro, but enjoyable. Just started with it, but my general idea for rotation is: *rapid shots to close/grapple too *Retractable blades to start dot and proc rail shot *1-3 Flame burst to try to get a free rocket punch *Rocket punch (hopefully free) *Rail shot to try for the Rocket punch auto crit *Couple Rapid shot cycles *Retractable blade to slow them again for a restart I am sure this is not ideal, so any ideas would be welcome

Agreed, having to run around fleet just to re-fill planet comms to get more items is a poor use of my time. Is it that terrible and OP to allow more space for comms of various types?

Yep, been done plenty of times too. On my server Begeren Colony, I can think of almost half a dozen just off the top of my head. Look into "Clan Besuliik", also Bes'katar, Mando'ade aliite, spelling probably not correct on these.

On Alderaan, I was busy building dark side points, then given the option to kill some nobles, Mako says "gee boss, do we have to kill everyone?" with her usual disgusting light side suggestions. I used the response "Money doesn't grow on trees Mako, it grows on nobles"...blap

Finally got my ex-g to sign up, went over to her place and client issue. She tells me everything I touch turns to ash lol. I am not able to log in either. Hope this gets fixed soon, I want my kurtob speeder. Did dns flush x2 times, worked second time, thx. Edit- game crashed (like it has been lately) and had same issue with client. I am not going to flush/dlpatch just to log into this game, just to crash. Back to hoping this gets a fix soon...

In short, no, moving does not reduce their damage on melee. If they are in range, you get hit. Just pivot when sneaky types try to stab you from behind.

If this were Eve Online you would have to be concerned as they can literally destroy your items/person without your permissions, but any other game, who cares?

I sincerely hope they do something about this. Not an enjoyable experience, to think that you have to spend your free time getting angry at a game.

Nice thing for you about mara/jug/assa is that there are so many lemmings playing the class, you can easily hide yourself in a group (wz are completely infested with fotm) and not get immediately focused out like any healer or Merc. Plenty of gear options on gtn too. Being fotmx5-6 mo. has its advantages i guess.

Yes pls, I also don't gamble irl, its why I have no debt lol. I will buy cartel items when I know what I get. I have plenty rl money for this cheap hobby, so I am patiently waiting for Bioware to expand the cash shop.

Yes, nerf arsenal mercs, they have waay too much utility for their team, most OP class.

This is an easy fix, make all classes exact same skills, just different image. Class that shoots, just shoots light sabres instead. Done.
