Hey all, I've been trying to find a PVP guild for awhile now on this server but seeing as I'm from the UK I find it difficult to meet the time requirements. So..... Are there any other like-timed players on this server who'd like to group up and form a casual PVP guild? Only been back in the game for around two months as I've switched from the EU servers but I'm Kudil (55 Merc). Always up for some 'organised' PVP!

I recently switched to Madness from Darkness and obviously we turn into little bundles of squishy stuff. So I was wondering does anyone have any tips for surviving in PvP? Maybe some does and donts, gear recommendations? I love the damage from Deathfield but getting in the thick of the fight as a melee ends up with my dead most of the time. I get 30+ kills and 200K+ damage but I'd like to stay out on the battlefield a bit longer!

What gear do you use with this spec?? Do you swing towards tank or dps?

I might have to give this a try actually, I always stick with Surging Charge and never even think about Dark Charge. I thought the force cost was probably too much to switch mid-fight.

Is anyone else finding that a Deception built assassin is hard to keep alive when you finish talking to a boss and he + adds attack? I'm finding it rather difficult to stay alive when I don't get the chance to stealth attack and CC pre-combat. I am kitted out in gear current to my level, mods are also at the correct level for my planet etc. I sometime use Khem who I have kitted out pretty well but he is squishy. Andron and the padawan are decent but that leaves me to tank! I have my 'rotation' down pretty well and I don't think it's that...I use all the usual: Maul (when EW is up mainly) Thrash > Thrash > Shock Discharge whenver I can (something stack as many procs as I can on this) Assassinate when below the % required Electrocute and low slash to get into position Anyone have any idea why I find elites/champions just too difficult in the class chain of missions? Or are deception assassins too weak if they don't start off in stealth?

Like others have said...there is no real 'rotation'. We are based on procs basically. Maul only from stealth or Exploit Weakness is up. Thrash > Thrash > Shock Dicharge when ever I can but sometimes I wait until I have a few Inductions stacked (5 max?) Assassinate when below 30% health, I adore Assassinate it's awesome in PvE and PvP. When you are running low on force just you Slash.

This is exactly what happened to me! I was killing it up as Deception (which I do love in PvE and PvP) but then Alderaan gold elites etc were just becoming too tough. Whenever I had a cut scene and they attack (no stealth) I just got schooled. I'm completely geared up for my level and so is Khem. It's rather depressing and lame but I know it's most likely because of how I enter a battle.

I was Madness for awhile but I just couldn't hack it in PvP. Switched to Deception and you just slay people, top of the leader board kill wise and damage wise most of the time. Once you get Assassinate it makes it even more awesome to mow down people. I'm having loads of fun playing Deception compared to other specs I've used, and better than most of the other saber wielding classes I've tampered with too!

If Synthweaving whilst levelling is any indication then I hope end-game is good. I am currently 290/400 at lvl 32 and I am extremlly well equipped and so is my companion. Even if it doesn't turn out to be a money maker, at least any inqs and warriors who are levelling need stuff I can give it them.

Yep I'm getting a tonne of bugged nodes, none of them are working for little old me =(
