  1. But it does not have story Or at least it does not have as good story - and i am not interested in playing something that is officially shut down. I don´t want to switch between games to experience specific mechanics. I want as much all in one as possible. And SWTOR is best we have. It is Star Wars, it has strongholds, it has customisation, it has role playing, it has story, it has voice acting, it has acceptable combat and so forth.
  2. Does not look like my kind of game. Story is not ONLY reason why i play SWTOR. SWTOR just is decent game that i like and what keeps me here is Star Wars story. That is neither Star Wars or my kind of game. I can´t customise my stronghold in that, or immerse myself in that universe as well. Story + setting + some other stuff just is reason why i play this instead of WoW. It is not why i play this or Random XY
  3. I know. But for one reason or another, i just don`t enjoy story in them as much or i have played trough them. Maybe i would love Witcher if it would be Star Wars. But i am just not interested in it, maybe becouse of the setting. I know objectively there are better story games. But subjective opinion matters more than objective ones.
  4. For some reason Dragon Age Inquisition was boring for me. Maybe i like this just becouse it is Star Wars. Does not matter why i like it more as long as i do.
  5. +XP boosts and XP is actually going to be useful now. At the moment i hit 65 very early and every XP just goes to waste. But with Galactic Command XP never goes to waste, i always get rewarded for getting XP. +Maybe they are working to reduce inflation? Compensation for data crystals is so small that it is not worth it with current inflation +more story. It is fact that story is important part of SWTOR. It makes it much more complex and adds more depth and realism. +I love direction they have taken to make this game feel more like Mass Effect 3 in many ways. It adds so much to immersion. (i personally would love it if every fighting scene would be replaced with cut scene. I would love it even more if they would be replaced by cinematics like in awesome trailers, but of course this won`t happen. And i fully understand why people don`t want this, but i personally just don`t like battles in this game, i am here for story and immersion and role play and customisation and some other stuff, combat is my biggest and most evil enemy which must be defeated as it prevents me from doing what i enjoy in this game. Of course i still can tolerate it and it is not frustrating, which is most important. And combat in this game can be fun at times, maybe hard difficulty we get in 5.0 fixes combat for me) +xp matters now! +More story! I think this game would stay alive without some MMO parts of it, but it would not stay alive without story. And i love story in this game! It is Star Wars and despite flaws and issues and faults, i love it. I especially love the direction they have taken in Shadow of Revan and KOTFE towards more story. That is what keeps this game alive, not operations or flashpoints or yet another companion. +Possibility that we get some companions back +Difficulty options
  6. And this is why it makes sense that SWTOR allows people to play only story. They know they can`t compete against Legion. So people who are here for Star Wars can still stay, but people who play Legion can visit this game to play story, and pay something as they do that. You could not play this game and Legion at the same time if this game would reguire heavy grinding and time investing. But you can play this game and legion at the same time becouse focus on this game is more towards casuals.
  7. I would say it actually supports 4.0 companion design philosophy. Before we could only use some companions or we would be forced to use them on bad role. But after 4.0 we can use everyone becouse everyone can be used in any role.
  8. I have posted couple of times this idea as well. Would love to see it. Would also love if your story would progress for other legacy characters as well. I don`t want to play entire game twice just becouse i want Imperial Agent Operative and Imperial Agent Sniper both as light side characters for example. But i also don`t want my dark siders hanging peacefully with my lightsiders. And i don`t want my Imperial light siders to hang out with my Republic lightsiders before Shadow of Revan. That way people don`t have to play KOTFE multiple times in exactly the same way just to get every character trough it. Pretty sure most people only want to play it trough once as light side and once as dark side. This really should be done ASAP and everyone should have ability to do it. I suggest adding in new mission where your legacy characters meet and join together into "Legacy alliance". It would just be short mission that would chronologically be in place between Shadow of Revan and Rise of the Hutt Cartel, but everyone would have change to play it even if they have already completed KOTFE so everyone gets explanation for why their legacy characters can suddenly be used as companions.
  9. First of all, none of Old Republic exists in Star Wars canon. If you mean Expanded Universe, then you are wrong, they do exist, they were added by Bioware. It is very childish opinion to think nothing new should be added to Star Wars. Tell me, why is it better to have what existed when you grew up? If you only want that, we would only have extremely limited content. We would not have Thrawn. We would not have Prequels, which means we would not have Coruscant or Sith Order or almost anything in this game. if we only have what existed in your childhood dreams, we would only have Jedi against Stormtroopers aided by Ewoks. No Chiss. No Rakatati. No Revan. No Sith species. Besides, in future people do grow up dreaming of being Knight of Zakuul. So your point is invalid. "Did not exist in my childhood" is just stupid argument. Internet did not exist either. So why are you here?
  10. Yes it is possible to only play class missions and ignore planetary missions and others. I love it, i can just play every class story without repeating any content unless i have dark side/light side character or something like that.
  11. Yes, but Bioware certainly must keep eye on WoW and other games and copy good ideas from those. Not using good ideas is just as bad as implenting them poorly.
  12. Yes This game is single player RPG hidden in MMO clothing that has quite seamless transition from single player to multi player. And i love that. Of course i might like MMORPG even more. But what ever the case, i certainly like where Shadow of Revan and KOTFE are taking SWTOR towards. Propably would love pure single player RPG more - but i still like this game.
  13. Valkorion`s story may not end. In Wookiepedia it says Valkorion died "sometime before 67 BBY.". So it is possible Valkorion does not die for 10 more real life years. Maybe he still is alive when SWTOR shuts down. That would propably be boring, but as long as it is interesting and fun and great, it does not matter if we have Valkorion or someone else. Valkorion does seem to be very different from Vitiate, even though they are same person, so next Sith Emperor may be very different from Valkorion. In any case, Valkorion has amazing voice acting.
  14. I hate this sentiment. Star Wars is more than sand planet, ice planet and forest planet (moon). I want them to keep exploring Star Wars universe, instead of giving us more sand planet, more ice planet and more forest planet.
  15. Free to play is what saved this game. I wish we had numbers on how much profit EA gets from subs and how much from f2p players.
  16. I understand how you feel. But questing sucks as it is. All of that is something you would send your companion to do, not Commander of Alliance...
  17. In this game, ever. I love cinematics. I would gladly replace most of the battles with cinematics. If playable content would actually be good, then maybe. But as it is at the moment i want more cinematics, not less.
  18. No particular order: 1. Story 2. Star Wars athmosphere 3. Character design and customisation 4. Role play elements 5. Strongholds KOTFE is great. I miss having 8 class stories, but i can understand why it is not possible. Shadow of Revan was great too. Game needs better combat in one way or another. And they should make pre-KOTFE chapter where our characters are united into "legacy alliance" so that you can switch between your main and alts on the fly and have them as companions. That way you need to only play story trough once. You could form for example full lightside alliance from your light side characters and full darkside alliance to complete KOTFE and future content only as many times as you see it necessary.

  20. So i absolutely love SWTOR graphics. With improved animations and textures, i would have nothing to complain about besides horrible effect when you are in front of light source and try to look at your character - all you see is black. Sure it happens in real life, but i don´t care. When i look at my character, i want to actually be able to see my character. Would love to "blow up the sun" aka turn off that. Any idea how it is done? I don´t want to use lowest settings, i want to use bloom and other great settings - just absolutely hate effect where you can see nothing but black (it is not that extreme, but it is really annoying anyway) character when you look towards sun. It is horrible effect in real life too, would turn it off in real life as well but apparently God made horrible console port and does not give me option to turn it off
  21. I like to have those badges. But i am annoyed that my other characters don´t have those badges...
  22. I hope i could skip boring battles. Group content is sometimes just another word for more boring combat with everyone skipping only good part of it: story. But i do want KOTET story.
