No, he didn't make a mistake he is being sarcastic, because he clearly was mad that people were getting mounts off of this machine that you can no longer get from the cartel market, and it was devaluing the mount or item that he owned. That was why any of these people were crying about this slot machine. Had nothing to do with the economy , that was just a pitch that was being thrown around.... It all had to do with selfish people that thought they were special and should be the only ones to have access to certain items.... In no way was it ever about the economy.... yea, you could probably make some money off of some of these prized mounts and other items, but eventually that wouldn't work anymore, because the value of the items would have went down, due to there being easily obtainable. Then people wouldn't have been making any money off these machines, other than the little bit you might get back from the green/blue/purple mats.. but it wasn't like they were dropping left and right, at least not the purple mats. It is easier to get these mats other ways, besides the slot machine.... No, the crying was all about the mounts and items that you could purchase off of those vendors, and the people that already owned them not wanting their precious mount to no longer be rare.

I don't mind if this stuff was BoP. I got one mount off the slot machine, unfortunately I accidently bought the wrong mount, and opened it up before I had time to realize my mistake. So , I was trying to get the other mount, and the mask. Had I known that some of this stuff wasn't BoP and I could sell it, I may have tried to stock up more on these things while the getting was good. Didn't realize that they were gonna be getting a nerf.

I see what you did there. You are obviously trying to make it seem like people will buy less packs if these slot machines are given a decent drop rate. Not likely. People don't spend money on cartel coins anyhow , because you can get that all for free. I had like 10k cartel coins and never once had to spend any money to get them. What are you trying to do here? Scare bioware into thinking if they fix these machines that nobody will buy things from the cartel market anymore? It's not like you can buy whatever you want with the slot machine anyhow, before or after the nerf. For some reason you don't want people to have a shot at getting any of the stuff off these contraband vendors, more than likely because you already have this stuff and you feel that only you should be allowed to have them. Also, the stuff that is on these vendors you can no longer get from buying cartel packs anyhow. I know why this thing caused such a big fuss, it's because there are selfish people out there who think they are special and should be the only ones allowed to have certain items. Who cares what you spent to get that stuff? You still have it. People spent money to get these slot machines too, and now they are broken.

I'm not sure exactly how this machine was breaking the economy... If it was , I didn't know how to properly take advantage of that. I was able to get a few Adaptive Circuitry out of the machine, a few green mats and blue mats.. But I basically got the stuff I needed to craft things. I wasn't able to get a crazy amount of any of this stuff.. just enough to make a few augments.. maybe 4 or 5 at the most. I got 16 certificates out of it in the few days that I played. Now I can't get not one jawa junk, or even a certificate. Not to mention I may have gotten 1 green and 1 blue... None of this stuff was a big deal , because you can get it easier other ways... Maybe somebody can enlighten me on the method people were using to make huge amounts of credits off this machine, because I must have been doing it wrong.

Aliens probably are real. In fact, it is almost a guarantee that they are. Even NASA scientists will agree with that. The chances that our planet out the trillions upon trillions of planets out there , is the only planet to have evolved life is remote. This idea that these machines were somehow devastating the swtor economy is that, just an idea. An idea that was made up by people that didn't want others to have what they have. Well, now they cried and cried until bioware answered their cries and nerfed a machine that was once fun to play. Instead of toning the slot machine down a bit, they made it utterly useless. If enough people cry about anything in this game , bioware is certain to respond with a nerf, no matter how valid or not their cries are.

I think the problem here is.. that they nerfed these machines to the point that they are no longer usefull. They only give out rep.. who has the time to spend dropping 1 mill slot coins into this machine to get maybe 2-3 certs and 2 jawa junks? It really was not that bad to begin with, I'm not sure why there was any crying going on in the first place. Maybe they could have decreased the drop rate a tad bit, but they made it where you never get any mats or certs... And I am being generous here.. You will probably get less than that with 1 mill coins.

Right, and people that were complaining about the slot machine , were only complaining because more and more people were getting access to the mounts that the complainers felt only they should have. I was actually working on getting me another mount and one of the masks.. I think the Nihilius mask was the one I wanted, but now I see that I wont be able to get those off the slot machines , not with that drop rate. I will spend way more credits trying to get certificates off the slot machine than if I just bought this stuff out right.

Actually, most of the time I go to a slot machine anywhere I usually win money... It's the people that don't know when to stop that lose money. As soon as you win, take your money and leave. Otherwise eventually you will wind up where you started or even worse , with less than what you started with. If these slot machines aren't dropping ****, then why would anyone want to waste their time with them? They need to change the slot machine, so where you have a good chance at winning something if you buy 100 coins for it. Otherwise people are gonna realize what a waste of time it is and not even bother with them.

Well, that didn't happen for me. It dropped maybe 3-6 times out of 100 coins... And you may get 1 certificate out of 100 coins, now nothing drops out of those machines but more and more rep, which I don't even need I am capped out on my contraband rep, it is only good to try and recuperate some of the money I lost on the machine, but the machine is now a waste of time. When it takes over 1 million creds just to get one or 2 certs it is hardly worth it. Out of that 1 mill creds you may get 4-5 jawa junks

The only thing those machines drop now is Rep and Contraband coins... I can't even get a green or blue scrap out of it, and all that stuff is easy to come by anyhow. The jawa junk didn't even drop as much as people were complaining it did, the complaints were exaggerated.

I don't believe that for a second.... The crying about the drop rates was exaggerated. They need to increase the drop rates a bit, because at this point it is not even worth it to try and get anything out of that slot machine.

See, people ask for a nerf and bioware takes it to the extreme and makes the damn machines useless! People should just keep their damned mouths shut about things, why not take advantage of the slot machines if you see they are convenient to use rather than cry about it? Now they are totally useless. I know why people cry though, it's because they already have the **** you can get with the certificates and they didn't want anybody else to be able to have them.

The changes to this machine have made it worthless... I won't be wasting anymore of my time on it, and I'm sure most people will not. Maybe those machines were op, maybe not... but now they have nerfed them beyond usefulness.

License to print money? You can't sell any of the certs or the gear you can purchase with them.... There is no doubt about it , they basically made these slot machines worthless. It's not worth the time and credits to try to get anything off these machines now.... I know I wont be using them.... Forget the decorations and the mounts.

Agreed. Yea they really ****ed up the slot machine. Now you never get any scrap , droid parts, or jawa junk... or the certificates and it is a complete waste of credits and time. What was wrong with it to begin with? You guys have basically made it worthless... what do i need more rep for? Because that is all I am getting and I am capped on that anyhow.

They aren't leaving all the classes alone, they are nerfing operatives again too.... The usual classes are getting their regular buffs that they always wind up getting every time we have one of these updates, and now we get more nerfs. oh joy!

People think that because you didn't throw them a heal or something or tried to throw them a heal and it failed, that you aren't doing your job.. No, I can't heal when I am CCed left and right , and then I have to heal myself.. and try and throw you a heal at the same time.... Alot of teams don't know how to take the stress off their healer, so you wind up getting *****ed at by undergeared bads who don't even bother to augment their ****.. That's why I hate running solo que, and hardly ever do.. Group all the way, and bring a good tank with me!

I been playing healer ever since 2.0 (pre 2.0 was dps conceal op for over a year) when they messed around with conceal ops.... Haven't went back since, but had plans to run healer until I got all my pve and pvp gear then go back to conceal.. I am not sure what to do now, they are messing with healing tree and the conceal tree (Again)...

It amazes me how every single update the dev team buffs up every other class, but then dishes out nerfs to the Operative class. Really burns my toast! Stop messing with ops, and can we get something nice just once? other than a freaking nerf!

So what? Who cares about having to wait a day to redownload the game? Especially considering the increased gaming performance you will be getting. I would wait 2 days for that. I can't imagine why the dev team would continue to want their game running off of a beta version of Hero engine. Unbelievable. Update the game engine now. I want to see my gaming performance/experience increased. I thought EA had the kind of money to make a top of the line MMO, why not opt for better quality?

lol wut? The guy probably was about to hit lvl 55 when he went into the warzone and somehow got the xp while in there and was given lvl 55. There is no exploit and he is not cheating. Like other people have said, he didn't have his skill trained, unless you can bring that skill trainer thing from hutt cartel with you. Either way it goes, he won't be back in there again, next time he ques it will make him que for lvl 55 pvp, and in all honesty , who really cares? Everyone is bolstered up, and I'm sure he wasn't unstoppable.

If they were to increase the level cap , I would expect them to issue us another set of pvp gear for that level, but they are not doing that. What they are doing is giving us another grind, after we just got this new set of pvp gear (Obroan) not that long ago, why are they issuing more pvp gear now? Alot of people are still trying to gear up all their toons with the one set that is already in place.
