  1. Can we at least get an info on what issues the issues are? Lag, exploits, bugs , etc?
  2. The AOE taunt actually decreases threat if you aren't in tank mode. So he/she can only taunt with the single target ability.
  3. Indeed that. Also, there should be tutorials that you need to pass on one char before you can do Hardmode FPs and Operations. I don't mind that. I just want soloable stuff to be soloable.

If you find content too easy, why do you not do some of these: -Turn of some companion abilities. -Do not gain influence with them and sell your gifts on the GTN. -Put them in passive mode. -Dismiss them. That way you can have your challange, and others can still play the game without super heavy grind difficulty.
  5. Heroic 2+ weeklies should be renamed not to be heroic any more, because some people can not understand that the heroic content is no longer even meant to be team content. They are stuck in Pre Kotfe mindset, and they need to change that. Anyway: Class: Assassin: Level : 65 Gear: 208 Discipline: hatred Companion: Lana Beniko Role: healer Influence : 15 Content: Voss Heroic 2+ weeklies This went well, Lana was able to heal for most of the time. I sometimes had to CC the strong mobs, which seem to deal more damage than elites. Overall, level 15 was enough to get my through the Heroics.

Experience: I could do the missions without dying or having to use heroic moment and/or all my defensive cooldowns in every fight. Experience: I almost died once, but I was still able to complete the cotent with some difficulty. Verdict: Influence 20 companion level is what I need to do Heroic 2+ for. I would slightly (10-20%) buff the healing in EARLY influence levels up to Influence level 10. I really want to say "thank you Bioware, Now I can play the game again!" but I feel like they should have just swinged the nerf bat less hard in the first place. Now I can solo Heroic 2+ weeklies with an Influence 10 healer without having to burn all my 3min cooldowns on every fight and wait for them to recharge between fights. Some difficult fights require defensive cooldowns or heroic moment, but not all of them force you to use it. That is all I ask, to be able to play the solo part of the game solo. Which I never had a trouble with prior the companion nerf, so this is not me being unable to play my class. I do not want or care about being able to solo the Heroic Star Fortresses or Tactical flashpoints alone. I just want to be able to get through the grindy content without it being ardously annoying. This is certainly a step in the good direction. I would recommend buffing companions to 66% of what they were in 4.0 , OR I would just make sure 1 to 10 influence level companions can heal through the weeklies and solo content easily enough. Still, this is a step in the good direction and I hope BW developer team has learned from their mistake. As for Heroic Star fortresses, Maybe call them Heroic 4! Since they need around 2 players and 2 comps to do! Maybe even make a Hardmode flashpoint out of them that works in the group finder in addition to the heroic ones.

  9. Companions were nerfed to 25% of their origional power. This boost puts them at 35%-50% of original power. Maybe I'll be able to do heroics now without having to burn all my cooldowns and wait 3 minutes between every fight.
  10. I need to do them for credits. I know, before KOTFE, they were optional and I never ever done a heroic before KOTFE. But now we are forced to do it, it is the new "thing" that gives credits and commendation crystals and the stuff you need for your alliance stuff. That's the problem. These "heroic 2+ weeklies" are the new solo single player content. If they made Ops or Hardmodes harder, I would not mind. Make the suppsed to be hard content hard. Or...heh... actually make new ops? Oh that would take a lot of effort from BW. And yes, they were very lazy. Yeah, they can't decide if they want an elite hardcore game or a casual fun game. They keep swinging between the two, pleasing none. Another problem is influence. It makes grinding companions even harder than before when you just had to give them new items. I dread to see how that effects levelling a character.
  11. Great bait mate, I'll bite. Heroic 2+ quests are the new dailies. You need to do them. They are too cumbersome to team for and teaming is too slow in this game. You know, the challanging content in this game was Ops and Hardmodes, where companions were useless anyway, since they could not do simple things like interrupts, running out of AOEs , and the like. So this did not effect you as an elite hardcore player. Nobody even forced you to use companions. You could have just dismissed them, turned them to passive mode, or just put half of their abilities off. But no, you have to ruin it for everybody else.
  12. Well said. The elitists could also just have put companions on Passive mode if it bothered them. Khem Val says, I'm on follow! Of course, the real reason is that most of these elitist are horrible people and they take pleasure in seeing other's in trouble. They want something changed that never effected them because it will affect others badly. Grinds are a generally boring MMO mechanic that Devs use to get more time to come up with fun content like story, ops, flashpoints and such. The level synch was a lazy, classless attempt at recycling old content because BW devs are lazy, unskilled and generally like their job less than Al Bundy or Homer Simpson, and just want to sleep on the job. Now with the powerful companions it was at least tolerable. It did not effect the end game, because companions can't deal with HM or Ops mechanics. They stay in the AOE, they don't time interrupts, etc. So it did not effect the challanging part of the game at all. Of course, elitists were yelling to ruin everybody else's fun, because it makes them happy. Most of them are rich people with a lot of time on their hands, so it doesn't bother them if they waste 6 hours a day doing heroic 2+. They got nothing else to do. Who would want to be around them? Friends ?

  14. Oh no, I'm not talking about Heroic 2+ Star Fort. I'm talking about the Heroic 2+ Weeklies. I can't be doing anything wrong, I'm using the Dulfy raid rotation with a level 23 HK-51 as healer, the char itself is Annihilation Marauder with 216 gear and defensively put discipline points (Improved cloak of pain and so on). I also had zero trouble with the Yavin Dailies before the KOTFE, I could even do them with a DPS companion as a DPS marauder. I also could do the story mode Dread Palace/Fortress with dying 1-2 times in case of wipes. I did have trouble with some HMs due to a slight lag on my end, but that was mostly the lag. So it is not a "learn to play" problem. Bioware decided that the new replacement for Daily content is the Heroic 2+ weeklies that we NEED to do for alliance stuff. I can't even ignore it. Bioware either needs to make them non heroic, or make companions strong. Because level sync downgrades us and we have worse companions than we did Prior to KOTFE. That is not a good thing. My character is worse off with level 65, 216 stuff, than she was with level 60 and 192 stuff and using a 192 geared companion.. any type of companion.
  15. What the elitists are not getting is that these heroic 2+ are not two player content any more. They are the supposedly single player grind, like what the Yavin dailies were before KOTFE. That content was never even meant to be a challange, the challange part was always the Hardmode flashpoints and Operations. Of course, BW is lazy and don't want to make new operations, so they make the single player part the hard mode. I bet they think they are clever. What else can people do than unsub? The elitists also think that everybody who like(d) this game had: -Rich parents that gave them money. -Unlitmited time to play. -Faultless internet that has no lag. Well, guess what. There are a lot of things that can interfere with that! -Not everybody has rich parents who can buy them 5000 CC every week. -Some people have a job, so don't have unlimited time, even if they got lots of cash. -Some people have families, which means they don't have unlimited time NOR cash. -Some people live outside the US. That means that compared to their job, the Subscription is much more expensive and the server gives them a big slap of lag. They can go to the EU servers if they are in EU, but that doesn't help with the prices. -Some people even have other hobbies, and can't spend more than 1-2 hours a day in TOR. I guess all those people don't exists in the elitist world.
  16. I call lying on you. There is no way you did that unless you are cheating with some kind of third party program. If you said you did it with an Influence 50 companion I would have believed you. But doing a heroic 2+ needs you to have 216 gear, influence 23 companion and use of all your 3 minute long Defensive cooldowns and heroics in the fight just to grind slowly through it. The powerful companions were needed with level synch and heroic 2+ becoming the new replacement for SINGLE PLAYER DAILIES.

  19. I'm afraid that's not true. In a char with 216 gear and influence 23 companion, the companion can't heal enough.
  20. I used the 60 days subrcription a week ago. Is it possible for me to unsub that and get at least a 50% price refund? I don't want it any more.
  21. To all the disgusting elitists: This is not even the supposed hard and challanging HARDMODE content and Operations. This is something required for solo play grind. OH! A person can't do their job? THEY SHOULD BE FIRED! AT ONCE! In any real job, if someone can't do it, they get fired so hard they won't even know what hit them! The sheer incompetency at BW is staggering. I wonder if EA just scooped up those who could not keep a job with any other company and just put them on TOR. I know Hero engine is not the easiest to work with, but damn, these guys can't even edit numbers.

  24. Agreed. It begets belief that their developers ever found a job! A modder with half a brain knows that its a recipe for disaster to nerf or buff more than 10% incerments at times. IT IS CALLED FINE TUNING! Bioware, LEARN TO DEVELOP GAMES! People do deserve to be fired, for they are acting extremely incompetently.
  25. Well, I have a level 65 dps char with 216 gear, level 23 influence Healer comp. I can barely get through the Heroic 2+ missions (I'm not talking about star fortress) which give me the stuff I need for the allience grind. I have to wait for ages between fights to get my defensive cooldowns all off the CD between them. Before KOTFE, my char had 192 gear and Old Quinn healed better. I didn't even have to forcefeed him gifts. So its not me being a bad player, since I never had trouble during Shadow of Revan. I'm not subbing again. I just bought the 60 days for levelling alts, but ... I can't do that now. I don't have the money to do what BW and elitist scum wants, to spluge money into cartel coins, than sell those for credits which I can buy gifts with so I can raise a healer to influence 50 just so I can do content again. Well, they say you get what you pay for . KOTFE is free, and now I am worse off than I was in Shadow of Revan. Hey BW, just take KOTFE away from me. Put my char at level 60, 192 gear, give me my Old companions back as they were before KOTFE, and I'll be performing better than I do at 5 levels higher. LOL Best thing at all? With daily 3 hours of play, I am not even sure I can be called a casual!
