Episode 3: The Sin. When seeing the heavy armored Mando (who is named Paz Viizla), did anybody else wonder if SWTOR could have been an influence? I know there are tons of other source material for SW armors but his armor just had such a SWTOR vibe to it.

Yeah I noticed that too, there seems to be a lot of rewards oddities in 5.0.

I have not started KotET yet, so I can only take a guess on what might be the problem. It could be that you're on the wrong setting, make sure you are on story mode, avoid veteran and master modes until you get better gear.

Ok, so two things. 1. As stated by Eric, that wording is an error, it should say "need early access". This was stated a couple hours after launch. 2.The requirements were NOT a hidden little secret, they have been plastered all over everything related to the expac and was also mentioned in every livestream. You not knowing this is all on you. So basically there was no fraud done by BW, there was you just not reading the information that has been available.

That is one of the problems with player made events like this, there's no separate instances so its all on the general maps. Not everyone wants to or can participate in the events but still want/need to fly. These events are good for the community but can have issues.

You will get the walker mount but sorry you missed the Shae comp and wont get early access.

Sure Merc's are range but it seems that no one has told all the mobs that, considering they just love to pile on top of us.

Actually the flirt option works the same way the non-flirt worked. Click the flirt choice, then you pick which of the 3 you want to talk to, then while talking to your chosen another flirt choice, which then asks if you want to start a romance. As to your question, nope no way to redo that part, sorry. But now you know for when/if you have an alt doing it.

Well with the doubling down on kicking Preferred players in the gut by stating that vendor items like comp gifts will be very high priced (because there will be a lot of them in the GC boxes ), I find less and less to be excited about.

I just want to clear up things. 1. I pretty much figure it's a no, from the start. 2. I wasn't being like all those people who are asking for exclusive items long after the fact. I for one believe an exclusive should stay that way. All that happened was, I was in charge of subbing the accounts of my household and I was doing the usual of maximizing the time by waiting until close to midnight. Unfortunately I got caught up doing a bunch of things and lost track of time, only to notice at 1 minute till. So I ended up getting them done just 5 minutes after midnight. Obviously it's my dumb mistake but I still had to ask the question, just to have it asked. Hopefully there is a natural grace period but if not I will have to live with it. Not looking forward to the fallout here, though.

Oh the GSF community did complain quite a bit in the beginning. As a result we got some minor good things but mostly a ton of crappy nerfs. The complaints were so massive that I believe they were a great part of why BW gave up on GSF. New maps would be great, some new ships too. But hopefully no more space maps (or any maps) with any type of clouding (dust, mist, whatever) like the shipyards, that stuff is a lag fest. Until the GSF player base gets bigger a ranking system cant happen. As things are now the queue would never pop. Plus for all the nightmare one sided matches, there are a lot of good mixes of matches, where newbies get a chance to feel things out & get in match advice. To the idea of legacy hangers, personally I have no interest in that. I view each character as their own entity and enjoy the whole process building them up, I also try to fit the ships to the character (even though no one can really see it). I have found it quite interesting to experience the varying advancements of each of my characters, surprisingly at times I have done better in new ships then in mastered ones.

No, the status of SWTOR has not changed, it is not, nor has it ever been canon, neither was anything else that wasn't the 2 trilogies and the TCW cartoon prior to Disney's ownership, ever. As for that droid, you need to brush up on your SW knowledge. C3-PO was Lucas' homage to the original king of sci-fi movies, 1927's, Metropolis. In that movie the many character was a droid that Lucas based 3PO on, to which the designers of SWTOR based Scorpio's look on. The droid in Ep.7 is another of the thousands of J.J's fandom and homages to the history of SW.

Ah such fawned memories of CWA. I do miss it even though I had left it years before they sunset it. Sadly I didn't know about the sunset until it was to late, if I had known earlier I would have gone screenshot crazy. Same thing with Free Realms, I had some cool stuff in both those games.

I am sorry that you did not have a good first experience but that is pretty much the norm for new pilots. GSF has a very big learning curve to it. Upgraded ships are only a small part of what made things bad for you, the main thing is player ability. An experienced pilot can be just about as devastating in a stock ship as a mastered one. There are pilots we all curse, those that it does not matter what you do they will make you feel like a first time pilot. The match maker can only match the people who are queued and sadly for many reasons the GSF community is on the small size, so you will get teams filled with a variety of pilots. I know you aren't happy with how things went for you but there's no need to be rude with that last sentence you wrote. GSF has been around for almost 3 years and is still going good even with the lack of BW attention and will continue on. Also, it is true that a lot of flight sim players have had issues with the controls but they are actually not to bad once you get use to them.

This event is a double edged sword for GSF. On the good side it has brought people in, making things look like they did when went it first launched. Yet on the bad side matches have become a mess. A great deal of bad habits being taught or learned, going TDM when it's a DOM and when they do a DOM right it's all about 3 caps (defense is a 4 letter word to many), far more people doing the lagging and teleporting things. Oh and people aren't really talking anymore not even the big mouths.

I find group oriented types so amusing. For the first time in gaming history the almighty groupers are not the center of attention and they act like Armageddon is happening. All that is happening is solo type players are finally getting some attention and as stated recently there is group content in the works. So quit your whining and just wait it out or don't and just move on. I got a good laugh at the part where the OP said that around 70% of the people are going to uninstall SWTOR and go to WOW. Yeah right, that will happen. Oh and the part where he thinks there's only 3 types of players (PVP, RP and endgame PVE), then implies that only RPers are interested in solo content, priceless.
