Since the new expansion went live I now get a hard lockup/crash on 'Quit' game - where I have to restart comp. Game screen will freeze after press 'Quit' Button. I wait a while ... Ctrl+Alt+Del and try to pull up task master w/o any luck. This is only game does on and I have top end new release games(Doom, Dishonored 2, Deus Ex newest) No issues at all. i7-6700 16gb Ram windows 10 64 bit EVGA GTX 1070 SC What can I try???

I was out of the country a month and my sub had expired. I saw the expansion and bonuses and re-subbed just now at 11pm 27th. Is it to late to still get some bonuses? I really wanted shae visla and walker....

It became clear to me - from other threads that show customer service response to the lobotomy that is 4.0 - EA has no interest in the current population of the game to be retained. They are betting that the new Star Wars movie will bring in exponential increase over the current player population. they have made the expansion gameplay extremely simplistic and linear and frankly mind numbingly simple so that no one will get frustrated with difficulty that is brand new to both the game and MMORPG. If you complete the Expansion story as a new player who starts at 60 you will be 65 in the few hours it takes - so no feeling inferior to all the other players being higher level. Many equipment vendors have been removed and other simplifications made so that a new player does not have to even think about gear - all will be provided as they do the story or instances. etc. Basically if 4.0 is looked at as a cash grab for a new very casual inexperienced player base almost all EA's decisions make sense.

I subbed the last 4 months and am still a sub and no early access today. Currently on hold with support number. automated says 45 min wait , been on hold 30 mins so far, but betting will take far longer. This is so f'd up. Any bets on being able to get a refund for those 4 months? despite them not following through on promised rewards.??? why are they scr'n over customers?

I understand need to be a subscriber to get the new expansion - my subscription will be up for renewal maybe a couple days after the expansion releases. If I choose NOT to renew my sub after having played in the expansion even for just a couple days, do I then lose access to the expansion??

I am on the most populous server and the PvP is dead here because the imperials outnumber republic by about 3 or 4 to 1. ->The new Daily and Weekly Ilum PvP setup since last update - now need kill 30 or 150 for weekly - is now impossible to do. Most of my guild has given up on Ilum PvP since update. * I tried on several occasions to find republic forces but just no one on and I do not blame them it is so unbalanced. * 2 hours playing and get 2 kills out of the 30 needed just for daily. Not sure of the fix but it sure is broken:( ****Suggested fix is a limited balaced instancing of Ilum... PRetty much 50/50% split instance( a few people either way fine) if people leave from the instanced Ilum the next of that fatcion that arives on planet is put into that instance (ILum 1 , Ilum 2, etc.) Grrr just thought of the problem with that.. with the server 75% Imperial - would leave a lot of imperials twiddling thumbs waiting to get in while republic would have no wait....

Server Transfers for Free NOW Please. My whole guild would move and lighten the load on Swiftsure. We cannot do anything as a Guild because we have no way to log in and play together. Our level differences are huge - those that can play during the day , Eastern times, are light years ahead of the rest of kin which logs in at peek hours and has to spend most of there available playtime staring at a 3 hour Que. I deeply regret having a Character on Swiftsure

Shed a tear for me please. >I had eneded my last session in windowed mode this morning. So tonight it brought the server Que up in Windowed mode. After 2 hours and 45 Minutes of Que I finally get into Swiftsure. My son asks me something while I am fumbling around to switch the game back to full screan ... and somehow accidently CLOSE the GAME! :mad:2 Hours 45 Minutes in que results in 30 seconds in the game... EPIC FAIL.. They NEED to FIX the QUE issue or do I have to abandon a level 24 Character and my guild to play on a server that is low Que time?? GAh
