Someone pointed out a while ago that it's maybe not EA, not Bioware, not the limited resources or anything else holding back SWTOR, but that the team itself may just simply be incapable. Personally I still hold the hope that it was indeed Bioware's atrocious management sabotaging this game, but if Broadsword does not deliver this year, we probably have to accept the fact that SWTOR is simply a victim of incompetence.

If you only play solo, you can easily just equip dps gear for your tanks. It makes a huge difference, fights are a lot faster.

At this point we really aren't asking for much ^^ I hope the stream is good and addresses some of the issues this game has.

I'm pretty sure there are translators involved. But yes, alien language comprehension is always a funny thing in RPGs.

Livestream is on Feb 14th, they will announce GS6 there, as well as 7.4.1 and a teaser for 7.5. But yes, I'm always for more communication.

The state of the game gets more dire every year, as all other notable MMOs get great updates and expansions, while SWTOR gets nothing but the absolute minimum. And what makes it even more frustrating is that Biosword refuses to acknowledge this fact. They need to address the issues of this game, the complaints of subscribers, apologize for bad design choices and finally give us a roadmap. Other dev teams can do it and I see no reason why this one can't. Respect your customers, Biosword. And if you think that people would leave if you told the truth, then it is really time to look inward and rethink this whole enterprise.

Yeah what the hell Broadsword? Who complained about the hat? Life day is over, the vendor is gone, and the people who have bought the hat bought it with the knowledge that it comes with hair. And now you change it? That's not a fix, that's preposterous.

Adding new species takes more resources than adding a new armor set or a dye. If their only goal was to maximize profits they should never ever add another new species. We don't know that. The only marketing Broadsword has done so far is a mail to former APAC players, that went out a week too late. Broadsword has to submit everything they add to Lucasfilms/Lucasgames first, as they are the licensor. Broadsword IS Bioware, it's the same dev team, just downsized.

What makes you think that? Apparently EA is happy with the amount of money they make with subs and selling Disney show armor sets on the cartel market. The last species we got were the Nautolans in 6.0, which was 2019. And before that we got Togruta in 2015. It's been over 4 years, so I think a new species is due and I wouldn't rule out that we maybe get something in the next 3 years. But saying that Broadsword will increase their content drops is just baseless speculation and completely disregards everything we heard and got from them the last few years. If the past is any indication of the future we will in fact get even less in the coming years.

How can you see what this game could be and compare it to what it actually is, and not be disappointed? So much squandered potential.

This is the right answer. Ranked only got to the sorry state it was in because of neglect. And PvP nowadys is at risk to suffer the same fate. If they do not announce PvP content in the next stream I'm very likely gonna cancel my sub. The PvP community this game still has is here despite the devs, not because of them.

Now this is something I didn't expect. Ventress returns for Bad Batch Season 3, and I might just watch it. I love Ventress and I'm very interested to see if Filoni once again retconned a novel, or if Bad Batch 3 is set before the book.

Yes absolutely, the new content is not worth the subscription money at all, especially because we get like two content drops a year. I was just saying that KOTOR 3 would have been a lot cheaper to produce.

Absolutely, this is a scandal. The infamous end game bosses Yonlach and Yul-Li can just be cheesed with real money?? Now rich people will have the tremendous advantage of finishing the Sith Warrior class story on Tatooine, something that is nearly impossible to do for normal players. Broadsword fix this.

SWTOR is literally the most expensive game ever produced.
