  1. I've been playing since launch. Finally considering leaving. Chapters aren't going to keep me interested. QQ
  2. Name: Galic Guild: ASB Class: Gunslinger Spec: SS Sandwich: PB&J
  3. I've had the most success with lvl 54 green implants. I almost always get an mk-9 (4/5 this morning). Conversely, on my armormech, REing level 54 greens gives me nothing.... ever. /shrug Crew Skills will never be perfect.
  4. It's not about attention whoring. My guild got our Warstalker titles months ago. And to this day, we're still the only guild to have it on Pub side. We spent hours, days, and weeks getting our ish together to make it happen. Why would I want someone to just get Dread gear from basic comms, to just go in there and get the same title? Seems ridiculous to me. Especially when I look back and remember the excitement that came from it. Attention whoring? You couldn't be more wrong.
  5. Thanks for your advice, we were just doing it wrong. But alas, we ended up downing it... first on Rep server! =D Thanks for the help!
  6. I'm in Melyn's raid group in Remnant. We tried having the tank furthest away from the droids, in order to soak up the railshot. Unfortunately that didn't work. Random people were still being targeted. Our next attempt will be everyone stacking and moving together, with the tank closer to the AT... Getting double tapped is annoying But at least we're failing because of difficulty and not bugs! To be continued tomorrow night...
  7. Not broken (even though I cried about it... heh) http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h416/JonathanLiebling/Screenshot_2012-04-13_17_34_50_988000.jpg We lost, but I still did 700k healing. And yes, it was a voidstar, but you still need to be on your toes. Just trying to give you some hope
  8. I said I only queued with Rakata on because I was bored - I ususally wear full BM gear
  9. Thanks - I wont lie though - I was definitely crying "I'm broken" yesterday haha. But I took time to think about it, and my Sentinel friend (if you can remember when Sentinels/Marauders didnt own the WZs) put it in perspective. I also have a 50 BM Gunslinger, so I kind of took my sharpshooter approach to healing, and to be honest, it wasnt so bad.
  10. As a Sage Seer in full Rakata gear - and half BM gear - I stepped into a warzone last night... I'd like to think I've been one of the better healers on my server. I've downed 10/10HM and 9/10 NM (Soa!!! ). I was used to have that unkillable feeling when I pvp'd. I loved it. Being appreciated for my heals at the end of a match and getting voted mvp. 500k was easy. For fun I'd start wearing my Rakata gear in there, then custom gear, it didn't matter. We were OP. Definitely. We knew it, too. It shouldn't be this easy. Of course we could still get rolled from time to time, but for the majority of our pvp experiences we've been tops. Then came 1.2 - Taking into account my new UI - I was fumbling around like a newbie 50. 2.2 second cast Deliverance was interrupted constantly (as it should be). I decided to turn into a bubble/Salvation bot. When people noticed I was healing - it didnt take long for focus fire to burn me down quick. I went from dying 1-3 times a match to 10-12, at least. I can still heal for 2-300K though, which leads me to my next point. (Ha, I bet you thought this was a qq post) We need to adjust. Most Seers are used to bubbling, diving into the action, AoE healing, spamming deliverance, noble sacrificing back our Force, and repeating. Can't do that any more. We need to take a ranged dps approach to healing. Stay out of notice, try to sit back, constantly be on the move... Use your CCs, slows, and knockbacks. Run away, even at the chance of a /giggle from the enemy. Find a tank friend to guard you. Start getting good dps to queue up with you. I don't understand the rage quitting some Seers are doing. I know it's different, but we're still viable. Even in a secondary role. It's a matter of adjustment, changing the way we approach pvp. It's certainly not the op we're used to, but it doesn't mean we're bad. Also, now that everyone knows about our class being bludgeoned with the nerf bat - step up... take this as an opportunity to show your server your skill level. "Yeah my class sucks, but I'm still awesome".
  11. lols no... only 9/10 people who threaten to do (if it's even that high)... I'm in your corner, but threats wont change anything... either play another class or hope they fix it soon. Sucks but... what else ya gonna do? *Disclaimer: I made up the numbers*
  12. Yeah, it is, even among the terribad Seer tree.
  13. I wont unsub, but if they're reading this... for the love of Yoda fix this garbage.
  14. I have 1720 willpower fully buffed. Healing trance crits at 1.6k after Conveyence. But 2.2 second cast Deliverance... roar. You're 100% right about the secondary healing which makes me sad. I used to love my Sage Seer and was a cornerstone as a raid leader... Now? I'm struggling. I dont like the new system and will probably level an alt and raid because I have to. But it used to be my "go to" toon. /sigh
  15. Did the new operation tonight, and I have to say, it felt REALLY uncomfortable. I'm in full Rakata, and have downed 10/10 HM and 9/10 NM (effin Soa ). PvP Aside (2.2 cast time on deliverance? I'll be speccing dps now kthx) - I had a full Rakata Scoundrel healer paired with me in Conflict... Got passed first two bosses, working on the rest tomorrow. Rejuvenate feels lacking. My heals are no longer powerful. I wouldn't mind the long heals if they crit for a lot more. Healing trance is fine, except when I proc with noble sacrifice I lose way too much health... for example: I'm healing the MT and two dps on the tank boss fight (2nd fight of Conflict) and I'm struggling, bad. I can't noble sacrifice myself because the AoE damage is so hard, I'm afraid I'll suicide with NS. I'm using Benevolence to spot heal and draining my force away. Now is this an issue of too much raid-wide damage? Maybe.... but you guys killed my favorite and proudest toon. 100% confidence healing anything, to 0. Not saying I still can't run secondary to a Scoundrel, but I'm sad that this is the case now. Super excited to be an AoE heal/bubble bot... let me settle in for my nifty Star Wars experience.
  16. I'm an armormech and have made tons of credits selling RE'd epics. If you have done ANY raiding whatsoever, you'd know that many schematics drop for armormechs that 50's can buy! In fact, I've made several million from dropped schematics from operations. Same with synthweavers. Truthfully, yeah it's great Biochems can have that stim... but is that really what this is all about? You can buy stims and adrenals for stupid cheap. I run a raid group that's as advanced as it gets and we've never turned down people that werent biochem - not sure where you got that from, but I lol'd. Saying this is criminal is laughable. You're either too lazy or too stupid to figure out how to make money as a crafter. If either are the case (which I strongly suspect they are) just quit now because life is going to be really hard. Real advice? Make some friends, and start raiding - it's not hard. Anyway artifice has the most to complain about... especially when Bioware was like "oh hai, we're just going to sell all the good crystals on a vendor instead".
  17. Empire gets the most "Star Warsy" outfits - even environments. Republic Fleet looks like a homeless shelter - while Kaas City and the Empire's Fleet is gorgeous. Agent gear? Sick looking! Smuggler gear? Cowboy up? Eh, not a huge fan. Sith gear? Ridiculously intimidating! Consular robes? Again, homeless shelter. You get the idea. One design team was clearly stacked - the other thought native american inspirations was the way to go... The only thing I can count on is 1.2 and armor modding. Hopefully some of the new custom designs they put in won't look like garbage.
  18. Everything you attempted to say in that run-on sentence was completely false. Try harder. Who rage quits leveling in what can be considered the most PvE friendly leveling system. Best gear in the game doesnt match? Other than you not playing end-game content, you realize the gear comes in sets right? Sets that match... /eyeroll @everyone: The game hasnt been out four months and people are listing the reasons it's doomed. You need to relax. The fact that it runs this smoothly compared to other launches speaks volumes for what Bioware is doing. Yes, some things just outright failed - Ilum - but there are tons of cool features. I'm not a fanboy, and I've complained over and over again regarding the terrible crafting system. I just think given the solid three and a half monhs this game has seen, it has the potential. Final thoughts - stop comparing it to WoW. What year did WoW come out? How long have they been polishing it? 'Nuff said.
