  1. There is an official soundboard on the star wars website that has an extensive number of star wars sound effects and clips of good quality. http://www.starwars.com/games-apps/star-wars-soundboard The following link maybe useful to anyone that wants to have those sounds for their own personal use, it is the full collection of those sounds zipped up for download. http://jkhub.org/files/file/1651-star-wars-sound-effects/ Enjoy.
  2. For those looking for an actual Dev Tracker feed and not a blog / news feed, you can try this one: http://feed43.com/swtordevtracker.xml I created it using regex string replacement, so its a bit simplistic and will likely fall on its face in some cases, but it works for the most part. This is however a free service that only updates once every 6 hours.
  3. I'd be willing to help you out with some of that coding and feedback. I've little experience with python other than completing the introductory MITx/edex course, I have some experience with other languages, C, C++, VBA and JAVA etc. I started to write a log file parser for android some time ago and abandoned it (though I may return to it at some point, it would read log files live over WiFi/LAN and scroll the parsed log file on my phone/tablet). I later wrote a parser using excel and VBA as excel had all the data manipulation and presentation stuff i needed and I could just external data link to the log files. All the log file parsers i've seen so far don't really drill down to any important information / stats that would really benefit for pvp that much, but i enjoy coding and wouldn't mind throwing a little effort into the project.
  4. Has anyone noticed that the commando energy cells regeneration rate tooltip for Slow and Moderate give the same regeneration rate for cells? Both give 3 cells per second. ? More details in this thread. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=772784
  5. I was looking at the commando energy cell regeneration and noticed the following (most of which i already knew): There are the following named cell regeneration stages: Fast (55-100 cells active) Moderate (40-55 cells active) Slow (20-40 cells active) Very Slow (0-20 cells active) Each depends on the current energy cell level. The more cells, the faster the regen (nothing new there). What i did notice though was that the rate of cell regeneration (cells per second restored) for each: Fast = 5 Moderate = 3 Slow = 3 Very Slow = 2 The following GIF image shows the tooltip for various energy cell %: http://i.imgur.com/9sTdpx9.gif So does: Moderate = Slow ? At both slow and moderate regeneration the rate of energy cell restoration is 3 cells per second, then it jumps to 5 cells per second at "Fast". Shouldnt moderate be 4 cells per second? or at least higher than slow? Or is it an issue with the tooltips? Is there a bug in the energy cell regeneration code? is this as intended?
  6. It worked for the power rangers too. Must be some element of truth...
  7. Well i think it would be a poor investment to buy property on Alderaan...
  8. The thing that annoys me most about doors is the one they decided to put in for the new hutball arena, it looks terrible. Who in their right mind thought that looked good? Its a terrible use of a texture/sprite and its right in your face at the start....
  9. Hello all, My SWTOR was running great until recently when I decided to clean my SSD and go for a clean windows install. Once I moved everything over to the new drive and started the game up I noticed a dramatic drop in performance in warzones in particular. I found the problem was due to the settings in windows power management, so I have posted the fix here. If you have had similar issues and/or would like better FPS in Warzones, give it a try. It may work for you also.
  10. Oh wow... thanks for the laugh
  11. I use WASD but I have A and D bound to strafe instead of turning. I turn with the mouse but move with those keys. I bind a combination of keys around WASD with those of highest priority and frequency of use closest and those less often used are shift-keys or further away.
  12. I wasnt blaming you entirely for the extra pops, but its just contributory. Id also like to add that I am not very fond of the new huttball map either. I think the neon graphics textures look terrible and to place them right in your face a spawn point is poor map design. I also think the layout isnt too great and the traps are **** compared to the original HB map.
  13. And this is why people like the OP are getting lots of pops for this wz. One person leaves, another gets insta pop for the empty slot.
  14. I agree, that's how it works with all other heals. No target = target self, but it doesnt work that way with Hammer Shot etc.
