  1. I have a feeling that Darth Hexid will make her way to the game somehow, hopefully through gameplay and not through the cartel market. I can't imagine the devs didn't have both companions dialogue recorded
  2. Thanks you for this update Eric! Then why do you care that they are returning?
  3. I'm guessing that Bioware tweaked the story based off of player feedback so that it would be finished by the end of KOTET's chapter 9. Most likely they had plans to continue along the one chapter a month route with this expansion, and possibly have 9 chapters on release and 16 chapters in total like they did in KOTFE. But since they feel like they needed to finish off the story quicker, they wrote out any companions returning to accomplish that.
  4. Thanks for dealing with this quickly guys Also thanks for telling us why it happened Eric
  5. Devs, I think this is one of those bugs that DOES NOT need to be fixed any time soon. Take your time with this one. Leave it "bugged" for around 6 months. Fix the other bugs that are affecting the game, because people LIKE to customize their companions in different outfits
  6. /Signed 1. I refused to do Legendary Tier, but I did up to Eternal to get Master Ranos, and the achievements were a nice boost as well. What is the point in resetting the achievements gained? And why would you plan to bring back the event in the future? You do remember the community backlash that you got when the DVL event was announced right? (Well, not so much announced, rather when the details of it were revealed) You heard our voices loud and clear, do you honestly think that we'll enjoy having to regrind old content to regrind a previous event that people didn't enjoy? We'll see if Master Ranos has any conversation options, but if she stays silent like Nico, you can bet that a companion as a reward won't be enough incentive for people like me to do that event again. 2. I'm curious, why weren't we told beforehand that these achievements would be reset?
  7. So yeah, killing all the mobs in DP then resetting the instance would most likely be considered an exploit.
  8. After fiddling around with this, I think I've found a nice work around for this bug. Place the clothing you want Jaesa to wear before you enter the ship, then when you've boarded, remove it. Relogging also works too, put on what you want her to wear, relog, then remove. 9. Seems that this hasn't been fixed yet, pretty dissapointing. Just got to the end of Chapter 1, and I'm faced with this http://i.imgur.com/6UJaDRq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ipj9ubI.jpg Maybe a fix for this will come along with the expansion, or 5.0 will fix this by accident or something. Either way, I'm gonna hold off continuing the story until a fix comes along.
  10. You can always get the Humble Hero armour set, or Vrook Lamar's set. No hood, but then no flowing robes either http://torf.mmo-fashion.com/humble-hero/ http://i.imgur.com/F751dfm.jpg
  11. Doesn't this strike only apply to games that started development after February 2015? So SWTOR should be safe in regards to getting old companions back, and having story content with the player characters VA's.
  12. I was suggesting something that wouldn't speed up gearing that much, every 10 seemed like a reasonable number Ooh, good idea to have every crate drop a token at rank 100, because yeah, at rank 100 you would have put in enough effort to earn the BiS gear anyway.
  13. When I first heard of this new gearing method, I thought it had alot of potential. Everything you do in game now counts towards you getting gear! Awesome! There are positive aspects about Galactic Command, for example, loot from bosses. No longer will ninja looters ruin your day, and no more drama in operations groups over who should get what token. We now have more control over our gearing. On the flip side though, we now have NO control over our gearing. We can't decide what piece of gear we need for our stats. We have to rely on RNG to determine what armoring we get for our set bonus. Granted, our discipline will be taken into account, so healers won't get any defense or accuracy in their gear, and I thank Bioware for making that change. Also, the fact that the gear from the command boxes will allow us to rip out mods and enhancements into whichever armour shell we want is good news aswell. The issue lies with everything else. Earpieces, implants, relics, and most importantly Armorings. We are totally reliant on being lucky to get what we want, or in the case of Nightmare raiders, NEED. With the inclusion of Veteran and Master story chapters and uprisings, yes it makes sense that end game gear should be available to solo players and small group players now. But why take away token pieces that let us choose what we want to get? If they're concerned about gearing up too fast, why not have every 10th command crate come with a token that lets us choose what type of end game gear to collect? It would give players back some control over their gearing, and I can assure you that people would rather have a certain choice that took a long time than a quick chance of getting everything, nothing, or some of it.
  14. Doesn't that voice actor strike only apply to games that started development after February 2015? They can still bring back companions whose VA's are a part of that strike
  15. Theres not much requirement at the moment though, why increase it?
  16. Thanks for the update Eric! And thank you for listening, it makes us feel like our feedback is going somewhere For the weapons in the PVP vendor, I'd say a requirement of Valor rank 5 or 10 would be enough. It seems that currently, this vendor is the only place to get most of the unique looking weapons that are available through gameplay (at least moddable versions), so a few warzones to introduce newcomers to pvp I think would be enough incentive to entice people getting those weapons. Valor 20 or higher might run the risk of putting newcomers off pvp, not to mention it takes nowhere near the amount of time to earn those weapons than it would if the Valor Rank would be higher
  17. What I find pretty disappointing about the Dark Council is that we never see Darth Rictus. He's meant to be the oldest serving member of the council, making him older than both Marr and Vowrawn, and yet with both the Warrior and Inquisitor ending, he's nowhere to be seen. Now with KOTFE stating that most of the Dark Council is dead or in hiding, how likely is it that we'll get to see this guy? And yeah, our powerbase as the Inquisitor doesn't really get much mention after the class stories, but Rishi does have a nice holocall with Moff Pyron. In KOTFE, we do get a mention of our silencers and Pyron, but apparently they weren't too effective against the Eternal Fleet and were mostly destroyed. Bit confusing, since the Gravestone is pretty much a bigger silencer, but oh well...
  18. LOL, why do you equate best things to end game gear? Surely the best part of this game is the story right? So where does gear come into play in this? Hell, this is just my opinion, and I'm honestly not too bothered by the changes that will allow you non raiders to get the BIS end game gear, but WHY do you want it? How much enjoyment will you get out of it? I'm honestly curious.
  19. I think people are universally annoyed at the RNG, not necessarily about the new feature as a whole (though why non raiders and non pvpers need end game gear is beyond me, dailies/heroics have a lvl sync tied to them, and flashpoints/SM Ops bolster you up or down)
  20. Eric, THANK YOU for answering alot of these questions, its very reassuring to see the dev tracker updated every day. This new feature has the potential to be great, new ways to gear up etc (although why ppl need gear outside of operations is beyond me, lvl sync eliminates any need for high end gear for dailies/heroics, and flashpoints and SM Operations bolster you anyway). However, as many have said, RNG as a means to get your gear is a terrible idea. If you had some sort of control on how to get your ideal piece, then we'd have something to be excited about. Maybe the command ranks have a cycle, dropping a specific piece of gear every rank. For example, rank 2 would drop feet, rank 3 implant etc and when you get to rank 16 the cycle starts over again with the next tier (assuming rank 16 would grant the next tier ofc). Also, multiple role advanced classes have the potential to grind twice as long as marauders/snipers. If the new system granted you gear dependent on what role you selected at the top of the interface, again, that would be another step in the right direction. Something that I'm a little concerned with is the future though. Specifically, the expansion that comes after KOTET. Whats going to happen to our command ranks when the next expansion comes out? Complete reset? Or will you divide them by 10 to give the higher ranking players a bit of a head start? Overall, thanks for the updates Eric, and fingers crossed for our feedback to have some sort of impact! ...Hopefully?
  21. Yeah... tis rather distracting, hopefully a quick fix can come along pretty soon.
  22. Wait my mistake, the actual quote is "Suffering the ultimate humiliation of slavery for association with a fallen Sith Lord, pureblood *character name* has been allowed to join the Empire's castoffs and given one more chance to master the dark arts of the Sith or die trying...."
  23. Its explained by saying the inquisitors family was disgraced in the past if you are pureblood
  24. Interestingly, Xalek isn't in the cutscene, so the bug might be related to just Khem. Hes normally here: http://imgur.com/1iuQ2oE But he's not in the cutscene: http://imgur.com/qHTDCYk
