I am now at hour 5 of this patch download and am only at 71%. How big is this patch anyways?

Depends on why they left, really. Were you all well versed on the mechanics of the fights? Some people can't afford the repair bills for repeated wipes. However, I agree that there are people out there who bail on a group far too easily.

It helps a little, I think. I'm just seriously hoping that the indicator I see in-game is for the entire game and not just section 2, since the process of re-downloading the game thus far (up to starter planets plus 50% on the bar in-game) has chewed up around 37GB of bandwidth so far.

Not a new player here, but I am new to having to reinstall the whole game. Long story short: my hard drive died so I have to reinstall the game on the new one. The Minimum Download feature allows me to play on the starter planets while the rest of the game loads, and it even shows an indicator telling me how much of the game is left to download, so that's nice. What I am wondering is if that indicator that tells me how much game I have left to download includes all of the subsequent patches and expansions, or if that's just for the base game. I have a monthly bandwidth cap so thisis something that I need to know. Thanks for any help you may offer. :-)

Actually, I pay the monthly subscription fee for this game and I also do not own a mobile phone of any sorts for economic reasons. $15/month is a lot easier to handle financially than a monthly cellphone service.

Unless everyone CTDs, then you're screwed and nothing can be done about it.

You don't. The issue is that you are not supposed to hit Need for your companion unless everyone has discussed it beforehand and agreed to it.

Probably just a glitch. I noticed that the Elegant Dress Bottom also does not conform to Unify Colors either.

Personally, I agree that all armor should be dye-able (especially the Aspiring Jedi Knight's set). However, I would like a minor 'feature' to be added that disallows someone to preview a dye kit onto a piece of armor that is not dye-able. You can, in fact, preview dye kits on things like the AJK set, the Huttball jerseys, and the lore armor sets; I wish they would simply show the default color for these sets when you try to preview a dye kit on them.

The only thing I had to download was a new client, but I have no idea why that was necessary.
