  1. As per my title I am stuck on loading screen. Game worked fine an hour ago... I know this isn't the right channel but I am so tired dealing with bugs... Hope I can get some help soonish Myriandore
  2. Let's keep our knickers on brothers and sisters; it's okay to disagree. Long story short, I have no qualms wiping nights on end to acquire nim titles (which I have), I have no qualms spending weeks on end chasing galaxy wide stuff sometimes having to redo some circuits several times over for HOURS ON END holding my breath over great artificial heights (which I have - tho I breathe now n then lulz) BUT... I refuse to be held to ransom by SUCH RETARDED RNG - and the fact they could promote team spirit by allowing kills to be shared. There, I said it That's MHO and not canon, so let's remain civil and have a good one. Cya out there ~ Myri
  3. I had gathered every planet datacrons and was looking forward to doing the last one on my list: Yay, Rishi ! When to my horror I found out what I was in for... BioWare had changed the deal in the most painful - or sarcastic way, or both depending on the pov. For a games company renowned for failing to bring fresh new content but excels at (poorly) recycling old material, BioWare had the nerve to introduce a TINY 5% drop rate mob to farm THREE TIMES ! Some of you might say: "What's the big deal" - well, that's depending on your luck 3 days to a whole week NON STOP FARMING. You really gotta experience those retarded drop rates to really appreciate the dumbness of the scheme. They ruined an otherwise great way to introduce stats to all, and turned a galaxy wide chase, fun, well thought long haul time sink into pure sh itty players interactions experience - with every spot being savagely camped. I assure you, the vibe is that pathetically bad with players unable to even resolve their anger with pvp, turning almost guaranteed to verbal abuse wars. With that extra nail in your coffin, you're helping me finally close the door on you bw. That almost unethical move on your part turned a fun experience into utter disgust feeling cheated since you changed the deal mid way with clear blatant disregard for players quality experience - was it laziness? cba complete another intricate course? I guess we'll never know since you hardly read those posts. Who knows... one can dream... gg bw
  4. Aaah crap ... Thanks for the information though fellas.
  5. Yes, I know there are other threads on the topic - one of which a 124 pages one.... But the question that matters to me still isn't answered: Are those chairs still sold - if yes by whom? I checked the Esstran original vendor who doesn't sell them. Who does?!
  6. First of all, /bump on a very serious issue. Lag is absolutely HUGE! For me it affects every area of the game: Ops, fps and heroics quests. I don't pvp anymore so I dare not speculate... I don't know if it's due to corpses not de-spawning or just the usual poor planning on the part of BioWare. And no, I'm not heartless. I've seen countless technical issues episodes here - I can appreciate the predicament of a young game company sincerely trying to fix its problems. But BioWare doesn't qualify anymore since it's now a veteran that should know better... Long story short, we know how bad you can suck BioWare, but we're still faithful. An official post would go a long way to show a modicum of respect. That'll be all. Regards Cya in game players Myr
  7. Any genuine watchman / annihilation doesn't need 2 months; in 10 seconds into a fight he / she knows something MAJOR is wrong. And it is NOT just about parses... That short leap is integral part of how we see, move and plan tactically. Believe me, I don't exaggerate when I say that the removal of that ability is like having had a limb removed.
  8. Don't let cynics make it sound like your point isn't valid. I feel pretty much the same and it's not necessarily about rotations or nerf (tho in effect it sort of is a nerf), but essentially: Play style. That removal totally kills the dynamics of playing watchman. And NO to all the Captain Obvious of this world - unless it's a situational absolute need, respeccing combat is not an option to some of us.
  9. I know, I know... Operations need serious urgent work. Besides the topic I'm raising has most likely already been discussed many times over - but knowing BW / EA legendary despondency about basic serious stuff, I felt I had to add to the number of those concerned. How ridiculous we end up with currencies there is virtually no use for. They could - be token converted at a ludicrous rate - buy decorations - buy CC (at an even more ludicrous rate) - buy selected CC items (character cosmetic changes, utilities, etc) - name it... Voila point made - again ! ~Myri
  10. =) Brought a genuine smile on ! Not sure I was playing back then but if 2.10 means cancelling the ignominy of having been turned into a dot tracker, then yesbringitonalreadyipayanythingyouwantnao! I know I'd happily return to a more dynamic 6 sec cauterize, or big ask - and I'm being totally unreasonable here - but maybe (just maybe) in the future BW could design encounters bearing in mind non discriminatory melee movement ? ...
  11. Pixels massacre humans ! NATO to intervene ! Tears ! Soul shattering scenes ! BioWare to be indicted !
  12. Ofc Section X nets about 200k - but that's besides the point. Even if you made 150k my point is still more than valid. A 10 people guild effort would still make 1.5 mil in less than an hour . Now you do the maths over a few other dailies, how fast can you make the 50 mil? It's so easy it's obscene.
  13. Section X daily generates about 200k for a single daily. Say your tiny guild has 10 people doing it together for funzies - that's about 2 mil in about less than an hour ! Now say you decided to apply the same principle to Oricon which incidentally generates about over 200k too That's a whooping 4 mil in less than 2 hours ! Just lazily killing stuff ... And you dare cry crocodile tears ? I chuckle
  14. It wasn't a post for elitists, it is for everyone. Often I find myself thinking I really like this game but it is such a small universe... So I get to think about how to make do with the meager resources this game has in terms of variety. Now that I think about it what I also find infuriating is the way they withhold events such as Gree or Thorn. These should be if not regular features, at least more frequent. Instead, they encourage ppl to spend more cash in a cynical new pure gambling scheme ... GG BW, nice way to inspire kids and adults alike << sarcasm. Fair enough you're a business and I even admire the way you bounced back from near extinction. But you could balance the act a little more with the introduction of playable material that yields rewards - and I don't mean another expansion rip off shoot em up... Sigh... more QQ tomorrow maybe... Toodles!
  15. I chuckle. It's as ludicrous as saying: "I sing okay in my bathroom so the Royal Opera House should let me use their main stage" or "every summer I play tennis with my gf in the park so I deserve Wimbledon's Centre Court" or "I strum my guitar in my garage so I should get to have access to Madison Square Garden" ... etc. Oh no you don't! You want high end mats? Go do high end ops. End of. ps; No come back! Shoo already with your ridiculous - unfair to those putting in the effort - suggestion.
  16. Dear BW Since you love to recycle here are 4 simple ideas that I think ppl might like 1 TC nim - and watch elitists flock back for easy high end gear 2 Heroic planet (yes, all mobs heroic for over geared ppl in need of a quality pass time challenge) rewards going accordingly. Maybe Quesh or some underused planet. 3 World Bosses harder spawn rates (or maybe roaming in larger areas), harder to kill but much improved gear! And speaking of which 4 World loot improved - not asking for mounts but at least chances at stuff over 28 enhancements - and real treats on a extremely low drop rate % Voila
  17. First of buzz off but (+t) kissers that think it doesn't fundamentally ruin the game so it's ok. Now that we've got this cleared... Like the title says. For a business that salvaged its very existence basing its commercial strategy on visuals, you are either pretty cynical the way you rub carelessness in our faces, or plain dumb. High time you fix the awful visual anomaly that is long robes sticking through mounts. It ruins chars looks on tons of mounts. That's all folks.
  18. I have this rock solid rule I never break: Play the spec you like with intelligent people. I recall my first Draxus nim kill, melee setup was a guardian + me watchman. I recall that guy who nearly cried on TS because I refused to bow to the horse shift notion that I should respec to tardsmash (hybrid) to accommodate his elitist "copy / paste" insecurity. Ofc I destroyed that myth and he's probably still crying somewhere in secret, as I have long left that guild. I am just as comfortable playing watchman, combat or tardsmash. Make sure you master all too, then decide which you prefer. With the exception of focus which imho is pretty weak on single target, I assure you, once you do so you'll "own" doing any high end op, because you'll enjoy yourself. And this takes us back to that famous rule; if you play what you like with intelligent people, nobody will ever ask you to respec. Hf
  19. Mash BR a full focus bar, then watch OS proc just as mobs die - Classic ^^ Shame I love the energetic play style. Safe to say I'm back to watchman. And contrary to the gospel, playing watchman vs combat in ops (and even vs tardsmash) has never been a downer - even on stuff like Draxus nim! Imho the latter 2 specs don't outperform as the myth would have it. And once i'm x4 merci buffed, though they don't eat my dust, they have to sweat bucket loads to keep up. Long story short, I've never been asked to respec to combat (or dotsmash) from watchman on nim contents. Granted, occasionally rng will hurt one's ego when overtaken in bis gear by lower levels with better burst
  20. Am I the only one to think the OP never asked about guardians but wondered how best to gear up? And again, am I the only one to think the very first answer to his post was exactly to the point? Past that very 1st answer, imho the rest is nothing but 2 pages filled with with hot air QQ. Pay no attention to it OP, happy gear grinding! o/
