Cross-faction pvp is a great idea, selecting the maps you want to play (à la flashpoints) is a great idea. However, these aren't your ideas, they're ideas that have been on people's wish lists for 5 years. But do you know how many fux EA give about players' wishes? Zero. EA give zero fux about their paying customers. Their original pvp platform was a good one, but rather than add to that, they've been happy to essentially leave it as is since they went f2p. Since then, their primary focus has been cartel market. Whilst the devs could be working on new maps, or fixing bugs, or introducing various other improvements to the game, they've been busy re-skinning gear. They don't sit around in meetings writing up a wish list for this game, they look at color swatches, determining which new shade of green they'll introduce as a color crystal in the upcoming cartel pack. It takes a special kind of corporation to completely disregard their customers, it's behavior you'd expect from a telco or financial institution. Lol I remember when there were countless threads, for the better part of a year, calling for more maps. What was EAs response? Odessen Proving Grounds. OPG was the dev team collectively sticking their jimmies in our cereal. Since OPG was introduced, I don't think I've seen a single thread asking for new maps. A lot of people still don't understand the company that own this game. I scoured the webz and was fortunate enough to find a snippet of an EA employee training video. This will give you an idea of who you're/we're dealing with.

Cross faction is coming! The devs have listened and are implementing it, along with the following: - cross server queues (both yolos and regs) - new maps - role balancing in regs (2 heals per team max) - permanent account bans for win-traders, exploiters and trolls in yolos - making all classes viable in yolos - fixing 5 year old bugs - starting a huttball league - creating pve and pvp pazaak at Nar Shaddaa casino and vanilla planet cantinas (both tournies and cash games) EA genuinely care about their customers, and actively read the PvP forum. So be patient, everything is on its way.

OPG doesn't need fixing, it's the greatest! Most of my time in-game is spent standing around on fleet doing nothing. With OPG I can stand around doing nothing, but in a different environment. Pvp at its finest.

Op, you show a complete lack of respect for anyone unfortunate enough to be grouped with you, so why should they be anything but disrespectful back? You have zero interest in pvp and the competitive nature of ranked, but worse, you give the finger to those that do. People pay their subscriptions, have minimum time to play this game, and the time the do get to play the game, they're stuck with the likes of you, effectively going into ranked 3v4, just so you can get your precious crystals at their expense. You want to write a thread complaining about toxicity in ranked, how about taking some responsibility for your actions and your lack of consideration for others.

I distinctly remember, as we were having a heated argument about who would win a fight between He-Man and Wonder Woman. He wouldn't listen to reason, how the hell can He-Man beat Wonder Woman when she has aerial superiority? What's the first thing our military does when they go to war, establish air superiority, it's conventional warfare 101. But he would have none of it, he kept saying He-Man would win. I got so angry I almost g-kicked him, I'm getting angry right now thinking about it. Fortunately I was able to get in a wz and throw some grenades, that calmed my nerd rage. I might do the same thing right now. But I digress; you couldn't have been in discord with Bleloch, because I was in discord with Bleloch. Me, the OG Janglor.

Don't be confused, little buddy. I'll tell you a story that only the real me would know; therefore proving that I am in fact me, and he isn't I. Remember that time we were running a double premade in novara coast, Dirty was at west and everyone else was at south. It was my turn to throw a grenade, but silly me, I was all out of grenades. Fortunately you improvised and threw a grenade for me. This left us in a bind as you were now out of rotation and there were only you 6 guys throwing grenades. Luckily we kept our calm and went to our back-up plan. I went and guarded the off-node, and Dirty came to south and slotted in to the rotation. It was a close call that game, those pugs nearly beat us, but we kept our calm and managed to pull off the win. That was one hell of an exciting game. You guys were roasting me in discord for weeks about that game, those were some crazy times.

It's a great server to chalk up easy wins. You're fighting against the French, and if there's one thing history has taught us is that the French can't fight.

This is just in my experience. There are certain times of the day when strong imp premades group, and there are certain times of the day when good pub premades group. I'd say I generally win about 50% of the time on pubs, but that's queuing in either a group of 2,3 or 4. As mentioned in a previous reply, pugging on pubs isn't a great idea in general. I have noticed more players who main imps have moved to pubs, as they no longer need to gear their main toons. But when you find yourself on a bad pub team, they're terrible, much worse than a bad imp team.

Harbinger is experiencing massive lag spikes again. The game is freezing for 20+ seconds at a time. Just came out of a wz where both teams were complaining about it. Get back to fleet and the same thing is happening there. The server hamster needs medical attention asap.
