when they say your stats are going to be capped, does that mean in each specific section, as in, say pvp is 326, will all the stats be capped, so that if you have ops gear at 342*, does it cap it at 326, so it doesn't matter if you have the higher gear. And will it cap ALL the stats, not just a couple? *no idea what the new stats are, just used two different numbers to illustrate the question

It will change nothing, it's been done to pretend they are trying to fix the issue, it's all slight of hand. The SRM's are low price. No matter how much they remove or add in, it still doesn't add any extra credits to the game. Removing credits as rewards for CQ will remove a load of credit generation, but yet again, it's going to hit new players, not old players, which could also be part of their plan, push new players to need money from other sources, so they have to now use their cc's to sell on the GTN, or worse, have to use real money. They dropped the ball on this a long time ago, and it's been said here loads of times.

YOU miss the point, you can WORK to make credits, to out bid others, or wait till the price comes down, or you can use a CC to BUY the thing out right. Either is feasible, the supply can meet the demand, it just depends on whether people want to pay it. As for flipping CM stuff, yes I do, but it doesn't limit anything, I can list hundreds of items, and it still doesn't limit anything. There are lots of items out there, 99% of the stuff people complain about not being able to get on the GTN because of prices, is on the CM for real money, so they can either work, pay real money, or go to another game, because it's all the same. As for the stuff they can't get, it's not needed, nor is it important, it's just fluff, stuff they can live without, but they still cry and complain they can't have it.

Still doesn't change the fact that people can work to get the credits for it, or they can hit the credit card to buy it from the CM. Sure someone might ask a billion for stupid stuff, but if a person waits, they will find it cheaper. Some stuff obviously drops of the cm, but it does return* So people can wait. *Certain decos are they only thing that hasn't returned, at least not more than once

Could be a smaller one, for smaller ships, not on, so can't check. I doubt they can change the hooks at this stage, but maybe when the new manaan stuff comes out, they can add an elevator, that brings you up to the starship hook.

They will not do ANYTHING that will stop people spending real money on cartel items, why do you think they've hit CQ credits, it won't affect how people spend real money, it might even encourage it more. It just means they won't be creating as many credits. If they try to do anything to the GTN, private sales, or peoples credits, it'll all blow up in their faces. The GTN, CM, Inflation, it's all good for them. It keeps people either using real money to buy stuff, to sell, or it encourages people to put hours of work in to the game, to get credits. Either way, they win, they get the cash, and they had numbers.

AND that's YOUR choice. You could use discord, and have all your friends in a nice little group, sorted out how you like, but no, you'd rather force YOUR idea down our throats, and try to blame it on us. A legacy friend list would cause a lot of issues for people, so instead of trying to belittle them, force them to into a difficult situation, just use discord, you don't even have to download it anymore, you can use it from browser. A legacy friend list can be abused, it also can cause numerous other issues, and lets be frank, this is BW we are talking about, look at their recent record, when has anything they've done worked as intended , or as smoothly as it should have. If it doesn't mess up the system, and need a patch, it ends up being something different that most people despise

I've started playing Star Trek Fleet Command, even bought a couple of the items. It's a fun, and different. Community is mostly great, the support is excellent. BUT it is a P2W game, people who complain about this would burn out there...lol. If you want to play casual, and just level up slowly, enjoying the game, you can do it easily enough, but to keep up with the whalers, you'll need a waling ship...lol. I played FF15, it's a bit slow, and takes ages to get anywhere, if it had a free option, I'd play it more to get to the point where it's exciting, and then sub, but as it is, I just couldn't be bothered subbing again. STO is fun enough, but gets complicated, and boring, people have complained about this game being repetitive, STO is much worse. ESO was boring, possibly because I was expecting it to be like Skyrim, but it wasn't. Guild wars 2 is more fun when playing with people (IMO) but didn't have of a pull to keep my going Neverwinter knights, the same, as was LoTR. SWTOR does have it's issues, but it's the only game I've played, that has constantly keep me paying a sub. At the moment, the pull isn't as strong as it was, will have to wait till 7 to see if it finally snaps...lol Would be interested in hearing about other games though

The funny thing is, in the last 3 weeks or so, this is all I've been doing, haven't done any CQ, just logged in to Guild owners to keep the guild, logged in to toons in others guilds to keep them in it, and play the gtn.

The CS/CM here have declined a lot since when I started, it's has been a downward slide, but recently has seemed to gone into free fall. The ticket system is a joke, I don't even think they actually look at the tickets, they just put in a script and hope for the best. But the email system seems to be a lot better Support@swtor.com , not saying they can sort out everything, but you can see, it's two different departments, etc. Not sure when BW outsourced CS, but that is when the Sith hit the fan. One of the biggest signs that it's outsourced is the scripts, they are generic, and used for everything, and chances are these 'agents' are based in india. From working in varies CS roles over the years, when dealing with CS myself, I can usually tell what is outsourced, and what's inhouse

People have explained this over and over again, it's not our fault you can't understand it, and I don't see any other way of making it easier to understand. 1. Anything that you NEED to play the game can be EARNED playing. The GTN is just an easier route, but it's not the only one 2. There are so many cool armour sets that drop, or are less than the preff allowance, it just takes a bit of time to find the right set, mix match, colour, etc. 3. ANYONE who can post here, can be a billionaire, it just takes a) work and dedication or b) a large credit card. Either option can be done by a sub As for preffs, the limits are there to make it more difficult for credit sellers (no, I didn't say stop them, but it does make it more difficult) Also, it encourages people to sub, so that the game doesn't go Pay to win, it's already in a state where cartel items are being more focused than story mode, take away the sub and it's benefits, can you see how bad it would get. It's people like you that are stopping BW from introducing more credit sinks, with nice shinnies , as people like you complain that they can't buy them, so we've less places to spend our money. Instead of looking on at our riches with envy, try doing what we did, work hard, or buy your way in.

Depends on what workaround you are talking about? If it's not an exploit it's probably ok. If you are talking about one person getting all the stuff then summoning people, that's ok too, just means the other people won't get all the credit for the achievements, just the datacron

They won't, it makes them too much money

I've gotten it a couple of times, but it's the second rarest drop, I think the statue is the rarest. Last one dropped about 8 months ago

Actually, we should be asking them to do theirs jobs, and remove the offending people, but like ranked and pvp cheating, no one seems to be doing anything. Or if anything is down, it's reversed or just not shown
