In this game you can shoot lightning out of your figures, have dead people walking around as ghosts, and have an entity that can literally suck the life-force out of the galaxy, and you are still trying to apply logic to things in this game?

Lol, you should feel honoured when someone called you a hacker due to you out played him in pvp. I have only ever been called that once in pvp and it actually felt good because you know you were playing at a level that other players wouldn't even dream of.

As others have said are you looking to pvp, pve or both. In pve there really isn't all that much difference, so it is really down to your preference. Pvp is a whole other story, on paper madness looks good and it gives you some ridiculous number on the scoreboard due to dot spreading, but know this, burst is king in pvp. In my opinion Lightning is better for pvp, but I am sure there is going to be people that disagree with this.

Have you played a melee class before op? The best way to know how to counter a melee class is having first hand experience with a melee class, so you get an idea of how the melee class works and all its tricks. One key to fighting a melee class is to utilies the terrain around you and be mindful of who is around you that could offer you support. In 1v1 situation, I can tell you it is unfortunate that sorc is not the best 1v1 or dueling class in swtor. In wz never go out of you way to 1v1 someone as sorc is not build for that, instead stay behind your fellow melee dps and release the hurt on your enemies.

Madness is not op, it is all just fluff numbers with dot spreading. I mean when was the last time you felt threatened by a madness sorc? AP PT is a lot more scarier.

I found that as long as you interrupt him when he is casting his abilities you can still beat him quite easily without doing the turret mechanism. P.S. well, that's if your healer could heal through the damage with the damage-received increase debuff.

Yup, shank tank is very popular in WZ atm. I don't personally use it, as I don't think shank tank is working as intended. I would recommand vengeance if you want to try out a dps jugg.

Static barrier should be viewed as a healing ability and not mitigation... if you know what I mean. Static barrier is an invaluable tool for a raid healer. No good raid healer will tell you static barrier is not worth using on tanks.

^ Bioware really needs to get better "External Partners". Unless the reason Bioware is still with these External Partners is becasue they are the cheapest. Knowing ea, this would not come as a surprise at all if turned out to be true.
