  1. This is interesting, and quite well detailed. It reminds me there aren't many non-human esque masks. Species like the Togruta and Twi'lek have zero face mask options aside from the mouth/nose mask on the sith side, but nothing that's really tailored to what they might wear. Which is a shame.
  2. Two basic suggestions here. First is the music one - star wars, and SWTOR has some good music that plays only in specific circumstances. I think adding a "radio" or similar kind of feature seen in various other games (like Cyberpunk 2077, Saints Row, GTA, so on and so forth) let you listen to music that is currently already in the game, pick and chose what you want to listen to it when you want. It'd be really great. Some themes I like I don't hear nearly enough. This is Star Wars, after all! Second, armor tints. I mix and match armors from many different sets, but the sheen or tint on many of the pieces are a little different, and sometimes produce a different hue even when the color used to dye the armor is exactly the same as another piece. By creating a hue or tint based system you can help resolve this issue. To visualize it, its like in Mass Effect series, there's a "material" customization option when you configure Shephard's armor. It would be like that. Sometimes I'll use a gray / gray dye for a nice metallic sheen on a shiny piece, but there's still some weird yellowy tint seen on it during a cutscene which clashes a bit with the chest piece. I don't mind a separate payment / customization option for this. I know the devs are looking for money sinks to handle inflation. This probably wont help too much, but it will add a nice fashion option for those of us who like to save the galaxy in STYLE. Get your SITH SWAGGER on!
  3. This FP needs a rework, particularly the last boss, Zildrog. Its fine if everyone knows what they're doing, what all the gimmicks to the boss fight are, and have appropriate gear, but that's often not the case. Many people aren't familiar or are doing it for the first time, and then trying to memorize each little strategy for every gimmick for every stage of the boss gets overwhelming and results in taking too long to complete the FP. Something called a "Flash"point gives the impression of a shorter mission, but the difficulties of the last boss (heck, even GEMINI 16 can cause issues), result in so many disconnects specifically for Nathema. I had a FP wind up there and literally all the other people just didn't say a word. They just backed out. The problem with taking an initial 2 min penalty is when you get matched up with it for a second time in a row and take another 15 min penalty, mostly because of the frustrations involved with that last boss. I've done the boss fight many times. I've beaten it only a few though, mostly due to time constraint issues and other people quitting, etc. I know how to do it, but I can't solo it on veteran, and nor do I wish to even if I could. Its just too frustrating. Too many gimmicks. Its an overdesign in boss fight mechanics when you have all these ideas of what you want to do with a boss battle, and instead of trimming them down to something simpler, you put everything on the plate and over fill it and it becomes too much to get through. I played the FP recently, and everyone voted to exit it, but we quit and despite the group consensus are still hit with a group finder penalty. Why?
  4. See this is another good thing. I'm talking tactics here. As I said you also have a team. There are a great number of possibilities, and they only give you two options with three dialogue choices...two of which accomplish the same goal. Its bad writing to make a powerful meaningful choice, and its heavily contrived (which means its deliberately forced without making it seem natural for those of you who don't know.) You are right AlrikFassbauer. The possibilities, I like your reference to the animated series.
  5. So the quest "New Circumstances" with Aric Jorgan, has me go straight through Empire bases and travel sections. Why is it forcing me to go through PvP zones? I don't care about alternate possible paths, I dont have hoth memorized and I dont want to aimlessly wander around the planet to try and avoid it, it should go without saying that it'll lead you there, but not intertwine with PvP things that should be unrelated to the story. There have been one or two other instances similar, one playing as an Empire character forcing me through republic player territory and its highly irritating. Please fix this, I don't want any 'smart***' responses like "just go a different way" That doesn't help.
  6. Yes, and here's the other point: You have a whole TEAM. Havoc Squad, remember? You and one other person go in only. Have two other people to move in and extract her, and you still have two additional members to stay and protect the ship or wherever you want them. Whoever wrote that didn't do a good job, it was a contrived way of trying to come up with a heartbreaking choice and they did it wrong.
  7. Might I just add how BS this is? Whoever decided on this being in the game can rot, for all I care. I dont like yelping at people I don't know or who made a game I like playing, but this was too gruesome.
  8. So I was playing on Taris, on a particular mission where you have to get someone's house back that's covered with active droids. You learn that there are refugees hiding away in it. You have two dialogue options: "I'll make sure you can stay" and "get out, nobody cares" to which I'm thinking "its not that I dont care, its just...someone else's house. I get that it sucks to not have a home, but if someone wants their house back, you cant just stay inside it and be like "well I don't have a home, please let me use yours instead!" I also find it funny these aliens say "like all humans they claim the top and push the aliens down. Taris was racist!" (aside from every species dealing with its own racism). Its funny because this house is on the bottom level of Taris, and on top of that, how does she know humans live there, unless she has the deed, so wouldn't that make her a thief and a hypocrite? Further more, if this is supposed to be an estate, why is it a small looking house and not something larger? Its literally two rooms. Edit: evidently the papers that I thought she "took" were her own family's papers for settlement in the same area. (so why are they fighting over a single house?) still, it doesn't make her a thief, just a hypocrite.
  9. I got to the point where I had to fight someone holding this girl up in a cage, and the second combat initiated, I got literally so many debuffs all at once, I had them lining all the way across my health bar. There must have been a good 10 or 12 of them, many of them redundant. Do those debuffs stack? Why are there so many cast in the first second of combat, and why am I always thrown around like a rag doll in house Rist? Even the most BASIC enemies have this ability to just throw you back.
  10. I do enjoy space combat quite a bit. Don't have the crafting skill to make ship parts. I think I have like 500 of those commendations tho, haven't checked. I'll have to check for the vendor that sells those three parts tho... I'll also be looking into crew skills that can be compatible with synthweaving on my guardian and armormech on my hunter. I can make lvl 2 augments at the moment tho, so that'll be helpful for adding the augment slots to the armor I get...
  11. So the turret controls wont work. I go up and click on the panel to activate the turret to shoot the ship, right? You know, to destroy it so it doesn't shoot its missiles at you while you fight Krey. The problem is after you "activate" the turret, its not doing anything. Like 1/15 tries it'll actually work, but it usually just sits there and doesn't fire back. :V Anyone else having this problem?
  12. Thanks. I wish you could independently craft, though I could always have many alts, as I'd like to have a... whats the name of the crafting skill that lets you build starship parts? I cant find level 7 parts for the life of me.
  13. So, I need Armor Components to craft the armor pieces. The problem is it requires scavenging. The other problem is the other pieces of armor I make all require nothing but slicing and underworld trading. I can only by the Flux bottles, not the other basic materials to make the armor components with. If I sacrifice one, I cant do the other, unless I make another character with armortech and focus primarily on making assembly pieces and mailing them all to myself. Is there something I'm missing, is there an easier way around this? Especially when it comes to leveling up the skill, it feels impossible.
  14. The problem with force leap is that it cant be used while I'm up close. It also has a cooldown as well. When I'm a far distance from him, he's out of range, so using it as an interrupt is kind of difficult. I have used force stasis (I have to charge it at lvl 27 though, it can only be upgraded to instant when I get enough points), but not during an interrupt. I can save it strategically then to save Kira or whatever. I've also used force push, but like I said, he pushes me back a lot of the time as well, so some of my abilities get interrupted because he throws me around so much - it either means I never used them, or I get no advantage from it. Its just really difficult when you have an opponent who has tons of abilities that do nothing but toss you back and forth and stun you when you're up close. Getting a chance to attack is tough.
  15. Okay, I feel like this is going to be a repetition of what many people have said already. Being at level 27, 6k health, 3k+ defense doesn't seem to matter. Even with modding all my equipment. Anyway, I imagine people wil just say "use interrupts", but the problem is that at that level against a boss I have only one interrupt. Force sweep doesn't count because it only works on weak and standard enemies, not on bosses. Force kick is the only one I can use, and he channels super abilities every other second. I interrupt and immediately after he starts using it again, or he throws me clear across the map. The only way to mitigate that I've done is to angle myself toward his ship, so when he would throw me 100 ft, he throws me only like 10. Also Kira dies within 5 seconds. Even with Blade Ward. He takes damage really poorly, so it wouldn't be such an issue if I could get to him before being thrown back again and again (and again, and again and again and again...). Its as if he has zero cooldowns on his abilities. My Saber Ward only protects me from damage, not from knockback as well. I usually let Kira go in first, have her pop her ward, then knock us both back, after that, I force leap onto him, he tries to super attack or w/e its called, so I kick him, pop my own saber ward, use sundering strike, then master strike, then call on the force, and rinse and repeat. That's my plan. However, I always end up getting interrupted between and halfway into every single attack. --- tl;dr - I cant beat him because he tosses me back and forth across the room like an angry child with a ragdoll every 3 seconds.
