  1. I'll start with putting what i believe is the baseline low and then comparing relative to that. Important assumption - i base all of this on the foundation that we assume each class is being played by someone of equal skill. Sorcerer / Sage - Nothing about it feels amazing at the moment, it's always been one of those up and down classes, i remember years ago when madness was the dominating spec. It feels squishy to play as a DPS and doesn't deliver anything exceptional and pretty much everything can do what it does better. Healing isn't notable at the moment - though i am not a healer, therefore this is more based on what others say. Carnage Marauder - I love rapidly swinging my sabers around but Mara's relatively low survivability coupled with an almost exclusively physical damage spec that offers nominal burst windows and low-ish sustain just doesn't work well. It can be successful but most specs in the hands of a similarly skilled player are going to be a better pick. What do i find is OP in comparison to the two above? Operative / Scoundrel - Simple yet highly effective, has the option to pick fights and almost guarantee starting advantage in a PvP situation, offers a lot of utility and is relatively unique in the fact that it can heal at melee range without suffering too badly. Vigilance Guardian - The damage potential coupled with the survivability is commendable, it's a very solid option for almost all areas of the game and an ideal solo player pick if you aren't into stealthing around. Engineering Sniper / Saboteur Gunslinger - Insane damage potential for both single target and AoE, can sustain it over decent periods of time, good source of crowd control and annoyance but also can hold its own for a while, without being overly squishy. The ability to switch to Lethality if you need is also great. This is all subjective, i'm not basing this on anything overly analytical, but this is how i've seen it at the moment, i have not played top tier PvP nor am i a super competitive Operation person therefore in those areas it could be completely different.
  2. Still haven't managed to get it to work, maybe incompatibility problems between discord and SWTOR?
  3. Was working fine yesterday and apparently my system is incompatible when i get on today. Currently making sure my drivers are up to date - my system far exceeds minimum, no worry there. Anyone else get this? it's strange as it was just completely random.
  4. Ran into an issue today when trying to stream the game - it doesn't stream the audio. Which was sad because i was sitting there telling a mate how good the voice acting is in this game compared to other MMO's and when i try to show him that its the only thing that can't be shown. I've looked through a few places and i've seen this issue be mentioned but no fix, including on discord related forums / technical support. I don't even have the slightest inclination as towards what could be causing this. Played with pretty much every setting i can in discord, mandatory stuff like running in admin both SWTOR and discord, removing from detected games, re adding, etc. I should iterate that all other games are working fine with audio when streamed its just SWTOR, so i was interested to see if other people have got this issue before and if you've managed to fix it?
  5. Sounds intriguing. I'm a returning player, i stopped playing for almost 5 years and returned the other week. I've got a few characters up to max level but am currently playing through KOTFE content as story is my main draw to this game. I am from an odd timezone, i'm an Aussie (GMT +10), therefore my hours will kind of be strange, i'm also unlikely to be there for more routine events as my schedule can be erratic, which is why i generally avoid guilds in MMO's as i can never make it to the necessary commitments. I've also got a small fortune from selling ancient cartel market items with nothing to spend it on (I could buy gear but i hate buying gear, i only like fashion items), therefore would be happy to also spend a little on guild related stuff. However if you have long term outlooks for the guild don't expect me to be there for too long - when September hits i'll probably disappear for a month or two as Cyberpunk is coming out and that's where my spare time will be allocated. If that all isn't too averse, i'd certainly be interested in joining.
  6. Rather than a new WZ i wish they could at least try developing a cross server system or try balancing everything, or even announce S7. A new WZ is satisfying, but only for the first day:D
  7. The same, minus we didnt fight bubbles in PvP and developers could actually develop
  8. I lost all 3 complete Revan sets, and a tulak horde set that i was holding onto to sell sometime in the future when the prices spiked even more. Same response, and they cant directly lose the data, unless its virtually set to outright erase the items and the logged details once it happens. Its just poor support. I'm tempted to ring them over the phone, but i'm done with TOR. Going back to CS:GO where you don't lose expensive items from developer mistakes and told you cant get them back.

    A PvP a Day...

I tried PvPing with guilds and friends to counter toxicity premades, but when it is you and 3 or 4 guildies, and a premade that runs all sorcs and AP PT's and tunnels single targets, just no. #SmallServerProblems.
  10. Im tired of seeing Mara's. Try Jugg, just not immortal spank tank. Go veng or rage, something that isnt mara.
  11. The community is extremely toxic. Especially once school ends . But the engines can handle the cross server system, they just need to learn to develop, look at GW2's PvP system, something like that. Cross server systems are quite easy, but they take money and time which EAWare will never invest either because they dont want to satisfy the 5% of TOR people who play PvP compared to the 95% of PvErs which they can drip feed trash mob spam story and **** drop rate packs .
  12. Just another rant but... From about 6PM-3AM my time (UTC + 10:00) all PvP is, is usually 1 premade running all night. They take pride in running late night premades that they fight not full groups usually 4-6 people. They tunnel the same people all the time, usually 4-5 on one person, they never objective, and always fight off point to kill farm, they have 1-3 sorc healers at all times. All except 1 never queue solo, because they simply cannot fight in solo queue and know everyone will tunnel them. They claim they're good, because some of them have Tier 1 titles from S2-S3, which then they never played late night. And yet, they always claim how **** people are and how good they are when they fight 5 late nighters with a premade in casuals. They never win huttball, because they always mid fight. They do not function without healers. Most of them play Sorc/Mara/PT. I ask questions such as "Why do you never solo queue" and "Why not move to a bigger server where fights and skill are actually a thing at this time" and its always "You're a *******, 1v1 me" as a reply. Heh i know im being trolled, and half the late night PvPers are but almost 4 years of being tunneled every night, is enough. Advice on which server i should move to?
  13. Well, jung ma had a very venomous community and people hated it. And everything is low pop on NA except TEH and Harb
  14. "World 1v1 champion" yet only 4 people can enter, it requires you to have 2 mil creds, and 2.5k damage. So pretty much you have to be from a bigger server, have time to make creds. More like the world championship of the rich FotM big server PvPers.
  15. Then why did you buy so many? its not their fault. They neither scammed you or made you buy them.
