  1. Don't even play here but I saw the whole BBC thing in the Server Forums preview and knew there was gonna be comedy. Glad I wasnt disappointed
  2. Just to add my two cents, I think someone should head up the server progression tracking here. Sure, things aren't as competitive as they were a few months ago (And even then, things weren't as competitive as they were a few years ago), but there are still raid groups/guilds progressing here and if you want to rebuild such a community then you need to represent it I'm aware there will be a thread for this on the BC.org website, but it should also be here as this is more easily accessible for people who 1) Aren't on BC and 2) Are just browsing the SWTOR forums. It's also pretty late to be starting a tracker for HM Rav/TOS, so for that I suggest just doing something like this: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=823257 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=823527 To let people who are browsing know which current guilds are doing what instead of being in the dark coming here. It also gives said guilds a platform to promote their progression EDIT: Also, I'm not sure if BW would sticky it or not, but if the Begerencolony.org site is gonna be used primarily there should be a thread about it that links to it and makes it clear the server will be using that site more, so it's not a secret. Sorta like this thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=536446
  3. This thread certainly couldn't have gone as planned Though at least we got a Thor sighting out of it, and the post above mine is lulzy
  4. Sup Nemio. We're offering that pro bono http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=8370939
  5. <Last Resort> will be hosting free 10/10 SM Rav/ToS runs. We will dedicate Wednesday night to getting two different people through both raids. All the loot from the runs will go to whomever is being brought for said run. Experience in the raids is not necessary. Players who haven't experienced the content, we'll do our best to explain the fights prior to pulling each boss so as to provide the opportunity to learn Players will be chosen based on who applies. Either by posting here or sending me a private message.Depending on the number of applicants we get, we may decide to go with a random selection process so it doesn't disqualify late sign-ups As we're a republic guild, we can only offer this pubside. We'll continue these runs until 4.0 releases
  6. Nice Hopefully your cut of the proceeds goes into hiring you a stronghold decorator -Joss
  7. 1. Basilisk War Droid - Community has been asking for it for years and with flourishes and other animations now available, this could be HUGE if done right 2. Kell Dragon Mount - Lots of people guessed that a drop from NIM SV or DP would be Styrak's Kell Dragon mount. Made more sense than Johnny Grob'thok tbh, though that mount is pretty cool as well, just seemed to drop from the wrong operation. This mount would satisfy a lot of players Looking at the older thread you guys made last year, you've done a good job of bringing in many of the wanted mounts I saw listed there. So I'm confident we'll be seeing these two mounts soon given the overwhelming amount of people rallying for them
  8. Guild has been sold. Buyers enjoy and for everyone else on the server, take care BC
  9. I'm trying to figure out if you're serious, trolling or just flat out bored. I'll go with bored If it wasn't made clear to you, i'll try again: This thread was made to advertise a guild that's being sold to interested parties/potential buyers. You're not an interested party/potential buyer. So how about finding something else to do with your time than post in a thread that's not targeted at you and that you're also not interested in
  10. That or be overly apprehensive This thread is to sell a guild. You expressed you aren't interested in buying. Let's keep it moving
  11. It's not that simple, though. I didn't mention HM/NiM ops, what I did mention was that a large majority of the players that do those things (and more) are the ones leaving. The guilds that did HM progression were also running quite a lot of the PUGs of casual content (OC, Dark Hunters, vVv, Intrep, etc), or being active participants in groups for it. Same goes for Ranked PvP (Infamous, STI, etc). The comment about neither side doing good wasn't about whether people do NiM raids with me or whoever, it was a reflection of the state of things on both factions: Lots of drama/friction (Not just among raiding/pvp guilds, either), not much in the way of community events, progression, cooperation and not much being done about it If it were as simple as raiders leaving but the rest of the servers doing great this thread wouldn't be here, nor would this one say what it does. Raidings part of the game. A large number of players like to raid, casually or otherwise. Not having a healthy environment for it is counterproductive, and we know why they're leaving. There's absolutely no reason not to address that obvious and glaring issue at a Summit, and writing it off sends a terrible message to players/guilds on the server who inevitably will or already do want to do tougher content or competitive pvp It's wrong to say you'll have "way more fun" doing x or y than someone who enjoys raiding does while progressing in operation A or B, different strokes different folks. No need to be divisive, the goal is to improve the state of things on server. I dunno if you read it but: There's more than you and your guild out there. Identifying why so many are leaving is a great way to go about keeping players from leaving. Alienating players that enjoy these aspects of the game or implying they never belonged isn't productive
  12. To help prepare for this and get the best possible results, I think what needs to be addressed here is why people keep leaving the server. This isn't the first summit, and it won't be the last. That said I highly suggest opening this up to far more than just republic guilds, include imperial guilds as well. Neither side is doing good nor has done good for quite a while now, this is more of a server issue than a faction one. Mostly, players that are looking to find a more competitive atmosphere are leaving, or to find more like-minded players to fill spots in their raid teams or PvP groups. That's about the most significant reason I know of, and its not so easily rectified, but that's what the summits for. To figure it out as a community My own guild is leaving the server soon, but I'd like to see it do well even if I'm not around. So I'm down to still assist with or speak at this event. Though a major thing to make sure of is that whatever is discussed here actually turns into action. Otherwise you'll be in the same spot the next time a summit is held
  13. Guild will be transferring off server and looking to sell the Guild and all that comes with it (Can't guarantee any members will stick around). If you've been saving up to buy your guild a flagship or possibly have a presence pubside, or just want it for personal reasons, it's a great opportunity to get a decked out flagship Here are the specifics for the flagship: 11/15 Expansions 559/575 hooks used, over 90k prestige (4th highest in public listings pubside) Tons of very expensive and rare decos (Some from Nightmare drops, PvP, Exclusive Decos and rare cartel ones) and crafting nodes In addition to the ship, you also get a 5-vault Guild bank (Almost valued at 10-11m itself) Here's a gallery of the Flagship a guild member did a marvelous job putting together. Keep in mind as GM you'll be able to move decos how you see fit, and we have a lot more to choose from than the ones we display Or if you'd like to tour the ship yourself, it's listed publicly as The Intrepid. Contact me here or in-game if you'd like to talk pricing (In-game credits only) and get more details. In-game message Hotsallday (Pubside)
  14. That's nice, but the guilds leaving are doing so for their own reasons. Assuming they're doing it because they aren't well-managed or lost members is silly and ignores the fact that some just seek different communities/environments Staying on BC doesn't make you better than anyone that didn't
  15. Is this true? Has anyone done this or are you just stating what they should be able to do?
  16. Gonna use this thread to track which guilds are staying put and which are leaving the server. If your guild is currently deciding or still on the fence, we'll take that too, just remember to update it when you reach a decision
  17. Posting for Sam cuz parsely Uulic <Intrepidation> Telekinetics Sage Torque HM DPS: 4920.18 http://parsely.io/parser/view/40309
  18. The only active APAC guild I can think of would be Valor Alliance, but I'm unsure if they're recruiting (Pubside guild btw) If not, might be a good idea to start your own
  19. There are quite a few quality PVE guilds impside. Dark Hunters, Game Over, Sith Praxium, etc
  20. Both guilds mentioned here are quality choices
  21. Intrepidation has a pretty strict policy about exploiting
