  1. The nerf to NiM DF was far too harsh, to the point where some of the encounters feel harder in HM than NiM. Please ask the dev team to consider rescaling the damage output of some of these fights. NiM Nefra, for example, is a total snorefest for everyone, especially tanks. TFB and SNV NiM have stood the test of time and are still tricky to do, but you guys have been extremely lazy with NiM DF and it feels easier now than TFB and SNV are. WTB Harder NiM Dread Fortress please.
  2. Cheers for ruining all Wednesday night raids in Australia tonight so that story mode *******s can get their comms and buy ****** vendor gear. Appreciate it.
  3. Man, as much as I support your guild's right to cash in on your achievements, do you really want to support moochers to this extent? Every scrub has a crafted 78 barrel / hilt now, but most of them still can't down council in HM. Is this the standard we really want on our server?
  4. Less 4v4 arenas, unless you make them objective based and not just "kill them all and win" warzones. Please, bring back 8v8 ranked. Please, have a toggle to queue for both regs and ranked at same time. Voidstar and Huttball are my two personal favourites mostly because of the objectives, frustrating when you're with non-objective playing pugs but awesome when you get two teams who are both playing the objectives properly.... in short, more objectives and less "just bash them" warzones. I'd love a warzone where both opposing teams actually need to fight together to beat a heap of mutual enemies (as well as each other, if they desire) to get to the end objective... only to have to then battle it out at the end for the objective. In my head a scenario / map like the Dread Palace would be great. Five rooms, five objectives, but to make it to each objective both sides need to fight through enemy NPC's together to make it through to the rooms. First team to make it through and to collect the objective inside the room gets a point, the team who caps three objectives wins. This would even work as a 4v4.
  5. I don't see you SNX guys on Harb anymore, where'd you go?
  6. Wow of all the things to complain about.... seriously. Just make the prototype stims, medpacs and adrenals for your non-biochem toons, its really not difficult. Dime a dozen. Are these forums getting more and more depressing with people whining about pointless crap or is it just me?
  7. My shadow tank is in 72/78 gear with set bonus. Since the removal of TK heal I've run 3/5 DF HM, 4/5 DP HM and a 16 man TFB HM. Admittedly, I am running with good healers, but I didn't feel "squishy" on any of those bosses except for Raptus in DP (30k hits... yikes). I'm also finding myself less reliant on defensive cooldowns, providing I'm staying on top of my rotation and keeping the 4 stacks up as much as possible. I don't know what the concern is, I would much rather prevent hp loss than have to try win back 2% hp. Compared to the other tank classes, I still feel like things hit me a little bit harder but with good use of cooldowns I can make up for it. And no, we are not some "little brother of the guardian tank"... the shadow tank is just a class of tank which needs a little more attention from the person playing it. It's easier to be a bad tank and get away with it on a guardian or vanguard than it is on a shadow. In regards to pvp, I feel much much much more stable now than before. If I really need a self heal I'll stealth out, cc whoever I'm fighting if I need to then find a quiet spot and heal myself. Don't see the other tank classes doing that! ;p Overall, I am very happy with the changes to shadow tanks, my only little niggling wish is that we had a *touch* more natural armour mitigation... and extra 2% more would be perfect in my opinion.
  8. Ah, my apologies, I didn't realise Torparse just called them "bleeding". Derp! >.<
  9. Hey Meno what spec of hybrid are you playing? I notice no use of shrap bomb and not the usual 5/18/23 build. Mind if I pry?
  10. I'd suggest joining a guild with people who are happy to walk you through and teach you what to do in HMFP's and Operations (if you haven't already). Pugs and gf groups generally aren't a place you'll find much patience. In my opinion, honesty is the best policy. In pug and gf situations I'd much rather someone say from the start "I've never done this sorry, mind running me through strat for boss fights?" than just hide in silence and fake it till the first wipe. Most people will hopefully understand and take the 2mins to explain. You'll get there just keep at it! All it is really is getting familiar with fight mechanics.
  11. I join and initiate a few pug runs most weeks for basic sm runs. Generally I try to make sure that a decent proportion of the group is either people from my guild or friends list, I figure if half the group knows what they're doing then we can generally carry some of the others who may not know what they're doing. Biggest problem I come across is people either not knowing the gear requirements required for some of the content or people downright lying about what they know or have done (Protip: We can all see your achievements). I'd much rather have someone say "I've never done this sorry" than lie about it. TC HM is something I usually form a pug group for most weeks and generally most pugs will get it down within 3 wipes with some direction, but when people rock up for a TC HM in blue 66 gear... *sigh* I've done SnV and TFB HM with pugs too, some successful, some not. Usually for the HM ops voicecomm of some sort is used (for obvious reasons) and with a decent mix of players who are willing to co-operate and / or listen to the person taking charge you're usually ok. Occasionally some patience is required too... =)
  12. You've got my gunslinger Ansten on the list, please feel free to add my shadow tank J'etna as well. Always happy to group up for ranked and regular if I'm pvping!
  13. I can't speak for the whole of my guild, but the general vibe towards pvp from Proteus is pretty laid back and casual. The 8 team regular wz's are generally still preferred by the majority of the pvp'ers in our guild. In fact, if the 8v8 ranked wz's were still around we'd probably have more fun doing those than the 4v4's. If anyone ever wants to get a regular ranked night going please feel free to message me and I'll see if I can pull together a team or two from Proteus. I can have a word with our impside (Protean) officers too and get them into it if possible. I'd also just like to say that its been a pleasure having SnX on Harb. They are great guys to have on your team, Gamblor in particular is a standup guy. Having said that, Carth and Daffy should transfer to Harb. Would be great to have you guys in WZ's again, bring that Jwalsh guy with you too, he was ok I guess.
  14. I know this has been said over and over again, but these times are really *the worst* times for servers to be down for APAC players. My guild in particular has a TFB HM progress run planned for tonight which we were hoping to sneak in before weekly reset. 3am PDT = 8pm Sydney time, prime time for gaming in Australia / Asia region. If you simply shifted the maintenance to 6am PDT (11pm Sydney time) APAC players would love you a little bit more and we'd actually be able to get some stuff done on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. Not sure what time this is in Europe, but surely server updates could be staggered to suit timezones for simple maintenance patches??
  15. Just wondering if we could get some clarification regarding the email sent out today: We wanted to inform you that we are one week away from consolidating our Asia Pacific servers into our current West Coast North American servers. The consolidation will take place next week on Tuesday, August 13th. (please check the forums for specific maintenance timing). Firstly, thanks for finally getting the ball moving on this BUT... the email makes no frickin' sense. "Next Tuesday" is actually July 30th, not August 13th. Can we please get a definite confirmation; are the APAC servers closing this coming Tuesday (30th) or in three weeks (13th Aug)??? Your proof readers should be shot.
  16. Half our guild is still over on Dalborra, but after the server merger I might be able to rustle up a Proteus team to join in for ranked on Saturday nights. We're currently ProteusLanding on Harbinger, we probably have 4-5 pvpers on the server who might be interested, if anyone else has half a team we'd be happy to hook up. My shadow J'etna is on Harb if you'd like to mail or whisper. =)
  17. Relax guys, your money has been well spent on developing a new Ewok companion.
  18. Dalborra never went down, but thanks for forcing us to move to this sh*tty server EA.
