The fact that you can earn turbine points isn't the issue. It is the fact that you can buy the Turbine points from the moment you step into Ebberon and buy your way into items and statuses that are inherently difficult to obtain or otherwise impossible to obtain without going through the cash shop. No one said it was a bug, the companies put things like that in the store on purpose. Just like Turbine added things like Vet status into the cash shop so people right out of the box could spend the 1499 on turbine points to buy it and skip the first 1/4 of the game. Persistent through death buffs you can get without buying? Rez shrines you can get without buying? A stat tome that increase all stats you can get without buying? All the stuff I mentioned is the kind of stuff you can get without buying and or common? NO! Least of not to mention the Veteran status you can buy right out of the box and the automatic leveling purchases from the shop. I'm going to assume that what was meant by that would be the Beta sub category forums that would've been available to only those accounts marked for Beta access to see as opposed to the General forums that anyone with an account set up to access forums would be able to see pre release and until they wiped those forums and went with the new layout. DDO well lets see we have the xp pots the various number of persistant through death buffs, you have the various stat tomes that include a stat tome the covers ALL stats, the rez shrines that you can pull up at nearly any time, you the hearts of wood for reincarnations, the rest shgrines, and a myriad of other items that are. Just because you temporarily increase a pop size with gimmicks like F2P doesn't make it successful or good. Don't get me wrong I love TOR but F2P just isn't the answer if they want to ensure a "quality" game.
