  1. They deleted my post, heh, so someone is actually working on the game, or in the forums. Sooo... someone actually read it, to that person: the exit button in the warzones are bugged for months and months, it is a very simple bug that is extremly annoying for the players, so maybe you can inform this bug to the person in charge to fix bugs?
  2. If PvP pop takes 3 hours then improve its quality, devs. Stop putting candys in it so the cosmetic grinders queue. PvPers dont like them (unless you are queing as 4+ lol) and they dont want to do it neither. Brings the quality of regs to the point we are having now, the worse ever in the history of this game. Remove this cosmetic conquest.
  3. All I want to say is that the "measure" of taxing a trade between friends is ABSURD and anti-friends. Like, wow, these devs don't have friends or never played a multiplayer with their friends. You never tried to lure a friend to play your game and to elp him stay gave him some stuff to help him out? Or somone comming back to game than needs new augments, and YOU CAN'T GIVE HIM ANYTHING now. Best anti friend game ever
  4. Most of these issues were here when ranked arenas were still on. So, yea, not the "main" problem. Just another issue that doesn't help... as much as you, personally, miss it, is not the main issue and never was. Very nicely redacted op, I hope the new team can read this and give it a thought.
  5. Even if it's hard to understand BioWare mentality on this 8man superqueue reintroduction, I have a theory. For what I see, the ones doing 8man groups are mostly (MOSTLY, but not only) these "content creator" streamers that BioWare gives gifts to, in order to promote their videogame a little in Twitch. These streamers are average / ok players, and then... they have a lot of people saying "hey lets group up!" , and they end up being 8 now who, singularly, are really below average, but at the currrent state of the game they end up having it easy because they are 8 against, most of the times, a random group of cosmetic rewards grinders + 1 or 2 high ELO guys who at this point are close to uninstalling. I guess in BioWare's "community management" mentality this is a good idea because it makes these 3 or 4 "content creators" happy when they go into PvP activity and, following this incorrect thinking, it encourages pvping, grouping, lalalala... I dunno. This is my best guess to understand the reason behind this absurd directive decision of having superqueues again.
  6. I greatly prefered being stunned twice, and have my resolve bar filled, than being in this permanent Slow Motion Swamp imparing movement Nightmare. So yea, thanks.

  8. I agree 100% with the author of this post, and as many mentioned, the problem is the rewards and Conquest. Lot of loot grinders queue into PvP only for those rewards and to complete Conquest and don't try to improve, play, win or do anything, pretty much like when farming Battleships would get you more tech frags. How many of these players are interested in improving in PvP? Really close to zero. Woudn't be better to put those rewards somewhere else? And improve PvP with new content that will interest PvPers, instead of cosmetic rewards that interest non PvPers?
  9. Is it me or it got even worse? Just wow... how this is not fixed tells so much. I bet here most of players know Phasmophobia... a game that started indie with very little resources. They have so many fixes still... weeklyy. Its so sad to see we cant get more than 2 fixes every 2 months with a EA videogame....
  10. Classic huttball is still the best map created for swtor PvP. Players being bad is another matter that you shouldnt so easily confuse.
  11. I once had the same thinking than you, I wanted to know how that ELO is created, so I could understand why I was getting these kind of players by my side randomly. Then someone pointed out that if BioWare tell us that number, then the typical exploiter that prefers to be always on the easiest situation possible would start to do his best to exploit this system aswell. At this point there is a high chance they are already doing it, because is not so difficult to imagine from where that rating number comes, the only number that BioWare always had of us in warzones: wins. If you win, you get paired with players who don't. Then they prolly mix it with some other random stat that doesn't mean anything, to get a very debatable rating number.
  12. With 7.0 the Devs decided to lower the posibility of having multiple stuns. But what we all know now is that they increased the slows and roots introduced as secondary effects of a lot of abilities. This new drastic change was never adjusted to the Resolve bar. Making PvP play even worse than when we had more stuns. If we aren't getting a Resolve bar updated to these effects, then remove these secondary effects. Some classes even have it for free, like root on sorc knockback, which is ridiculous. Needs an update.

  14. Does someone here understands or can guess what this path of server in the cloud means for the future of the game? Besides the good news for apac region of course. Do these new options open the door for the old servers? Improvements... merging?
  15. I have the strange feeling that this renewed dev team is reading the community better. They did fix the lockout penalties a bit , making it fair for everybody, and for things like that Im thankful and nicely surprised! IM STARTING TO BELIEVE
  16. Ugh... Well, I hope they keep improving the balance. Clearly most of the community is asking for a change, and Bioware seems to be at least aware of it, even if their soft solution didnt work... maybe they will try a proper one if the population stays healthy.
  17. I hope something finally is resolved with this subject that has been around since ever. As part of balancing pvp and making it more open. And no, it doesnt mean that premades are bad, or that "making friends" is bad. Just separate the queues so everybody can have a more balanced experience, premades aswell.
  18. This would be nice to adress. A detail tho, I'd say that the small 2 man groups should be allowed into 8 as "solo" queue.

This is insane lol Instead of removing the lockout, something that everybody was asking for, or at least modify it (so you can leave a match before it starts, or give you less minutes penalty if you had a disconnect), the person in charge decides to punish players even more? In REGS. How is this going casual and less toxic? Why, who asked for this, or what is the reason behind going deeper in one of the worst decisions lately made for regs? Same with superqueues in regs??? Where is the feedback? Where did the dev read that this is something that PvPers want or where is the logic behind this? Because it would be really nice that at least we can read an explanation.
  20. To be short: not only Ranked removed (which was already announced). Now we breakfast with news of MORE TIME LOCKOUTS (???) when you get a disconnect on a warzone (that is not even ranked now!) and playing against superqueues of 8 man group (one of the only positive changes ever made regards PvP when BioWare removed it). I mean, c'mon, what is this? what kind of players and feedback are you hearing? Can someone explain why instead of removing the lockout (or at least giving you the option of leaving a match before it starts) you ADDED insane amount of time to it? Nobody on the dev team contemplates the possibility that you can have bad luck and get a disconnect? And again, what's the criteria on letting 8's man group queue together? Something that for now isn't a problem because everybody left the game so we are not seeing it, but imagine if the situation was other. (???) I was keeping a little hope for this PvP expansion, but damn... where are the positive things? Does someone knows? Sincerely asking now.
  21. Still not added and wondering if they didnt read it, or if they did and keeping it quite as a "secret" like every single time the bolster doesnt work in every single expansion.
  22. For the love of the gods, stop touching the UI. Is extremly ANNOYING to log into an expansion and having to configurate the UI every single time, for things nobody ever asked for. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. With this logic, adrenals shouldn't be allowed neither. These are items you can craft yourself (don't have to be last level grenades, the easiest ones to craft do basically the same). Grenades have a long cooldown and also apply a buff when someone uses it on you, you become immune to it for a decent period of time. Complaining about stuns always puzzles me. But I get it, can be frustrating for maddening minds.
