I'm really sorry man but this game will never have Mass PvP.

I had a WvWvW-zerg with 50 people (not sure if 30 or 80 tbh, sorry.. ). A steady 40-60 fps. In a Ilum-zerg my FPS drops to 5-8 -_- Later the day we fought a huge dragon with 40? people, all spamming lightning, fire, arrows, fireballs, pets etc. I still had a steady 40-60 fps. When people are standing AFK on the fleet my FPS already drops to 15?. I didn't think it could be done but well, GW2 did it. I hope the money Bioware saved with the Hero Engine was worth it.

Strongest class in 1v1 and okay in Warzones.

I love the classes in SWTor, I love my scoundrel. However, the engine is terrible and the PvP-content is bad. We got ONE! Warzone in 9 months. It would be okay if the PvP-content would fun and good. But it isn't, the PvP content is terrible. I'm just sitting here speechless and i'm thinking: "Yes, that's it. Bioware did INDEED nothing to counter GW2. No announcement about Ilum, arena or something innovative. No surprise balancepatch, no surprise tournament in outlaw's den. This is really it. Bioware did nothing. "

You have to know that getting into the game in GW2 is incredible hard, especially if you don't follow a guide. There is tons of customization and possibilities to play around with gear, traits, skills, weapons etc. So a guy who followed a guide or played before will kill you 1v1 with 80% hp left. I had the same. First weekend I just went to structured PvP with my Engi and got completely destroyed by some people. I than sat down and tried anything. I then had a strong dot-specc and joinded PvP again :> I could win 1v3 with ease against baddies. GW2 entry barrier is just extremely high, especially if you go instantly to structured PvP. It isn't like in SWTor, where a mediocre player can pick up the game and play at near maximum efficiency after 3? Warzones.

Uhm.. GW2 can. 15v40? no problem. Smooth 40 FPS.

I don't see a bad gear progression as a fun addition to the game. It's more like "this awfulness is finally over". A "skill"-progression, like in League of Legends however, is very fun. "Yay, finally 1700 Elo!" EDIT: But that's probably just a different taste.

Well, who can blame them? Bioware completely ignored PvP in this game. Balance is awful, content is terrible, no Open PvP, bad gear-progression. The question is rather WHY should PvP-players stay here?

Well, a team worked for months on new space missions. AREN'T YOU EXCITED? NEW SPACE MISSIONS! YOU CAN GO AROUND AND SHOOT STUFF WHILE BEING IN SKYPE WITH YOUR FRIENDS! YOU BE LIKE: "WOAH DUDE, I TOTALLY OWNED THAT SHIP!" "THAT'S NOTHING, I JUST BLEW UP A SPACE STATION! I TOTALLY DESTROYED IT" "HELL YEA, LETS REPEAT THAT TOMORROW! THAT WAS SOOOOOO FUN". AREN'T YOU EXCITED? NEW SPACE MISSIONS, EXACTLY WHAT PLAYERS WANTED.!!!!!

I don't care about progress or rating. PvP in SWTor is a joke. So why should I farm gear? Why should I play 324234 Warzones just to have full WH? The game offers nothing. The only character I have now is a lvl 43 Scoundrel with some good lvl 41 mods and 1-2 augments. I log in, do a few warzones with my friends and log out again. I don't see any reason to play my lvl 50 chars anymore. EDIT: I mean, I would have to farm nearly full WH and I would have to farm tons of credits to be able to enchant my gear. No thank you, I'll pass.

Well, GW2 is nearly here. Nearly all players (Only 4 left of 25?) in my guild have unsubbed and this week the accounts did run out. But well, who didn't see that coming? PvP in SWTor is awful. Bioware does nothing to please the PvP-player base. At least we have new space missions coming. EDIT: IT makes me sad. Why did Bioware have to ignore PvP this much? Back to fantasy I guess...

Yep, I often thought exactly the same. Stuns are too easy to land.
