  1. Ever heard of common courtesy? It sounds like your greed for loot has made you so desperate that you can't realize when you're acting like a jerk. If you can't be considerate enough to give someone else a few seconds to click on a chest then you are a self-centered clown.
  2. Like I stated, the current system is a compromise. It's not going to be perfect for everyone. But any suggestion that undermines the purpose or profits of the Cartel Market will most likely cause much more harm than help the future or quality of this game. There has to be a balance between what's best for all the different types of TOR gamers and what's best for the economy of the company providing the game. I understand your concerns but the buying of lots of packs and high end cartel market items is costly and not a fool proof plan for making lots of credits. And as the number of people who put these items on the gtn increases, the credit prices usually decrease. To make all CM items unsellable would hurt many more users than the ones trying to get end game gear. Cartel packs are a big money maker. Without them, BW profits would go way down. Without the profits generated by the packs then BW would probably have to raise the average price of EVERYTHING in the store. The price tag on those special rare items would be extremely costly or they would no longer be rare. Prices too high for rare items would anger buyers and prices too low would make rare items less special. If CM prices were raised then the monthly amount that subs get in cartel coins would have far lesser value. Getting rid of packs would also eliminate anyone from being lucky enough to get a rare item without spending lots of coins. Making this gear bound to legacy would give players an excuse to buy far fewer items. This current system seems to be generating lots of $ales. With all the financial struggles that this game has had why would BW be stupid enough to change something that's successful? Many people are willing to buy whole outfits when all they want is the chest piece or helm because they know they can sell or trade the other pieces. If users know they can't sell or trade CM items then they might not buy as much as they do. This affects CM sales and hurts BW profits and affects us all. Sometimes you have to tolerate the concepts you don't like because it helps provide the resources for many of the things you do enjoy in this game. I don't think this will be as big of an issue as you seem to fear.
  3. The current setup of the CM is the best possible compromise. It helps BW make money, it helps the gamers who are willing to spend money able to get cool items and/or turn those CM items into in game credits and it helps users who don't want to spend real money on CM items the opportunity to get those items with in game credits. Your suggestions would hurt the game in the long run, making all three groups unhappy. No thanks!
  4. I don't like the cubes. It looks too gimmicky. Hey devs, think elegance not corny.
  5. In the near future there will be an Expertise cap, a limit. One of the devs stated this on the Torwars podcast.
  6. You don't have to necro multiple threads on the same topic. Very uncool.
  7. Maybe the devs feel this is very low priority because most users add a small number of missions then complete that amount before adding more.
  8. I disagree. I think it would have a bad affect on the economy of the game and hurt the real money generated from the Cartel Market. Bad idea.
  9. And something like this too http://www.jedi-business.com/images/actionFigures/The-Vintage-Collection/The-Vintage-Collection-Luke-Skywalker-Jedi-Knight-Outfit_Big_2.jpg
  10. I mainly play light side and even I don't care for the wave, but like you stated it's no big deal. I also dislike the very rude gesture my character does when I send a companion off to sell grey items. Things I would like changed but they're very way down on the list.
  11. Making the gear bound to Legacy would be an awful business decision for BW.
  12. This has no appeal to me. There's a bond between your character and the companion because you've gone through the story together. To pair up with a companion without any shared history seems kinda hollow.
  13. I think it's an awful idea. I hope it never happens. Pick a side, commit to your choice or create another character on the opposite faction and level up. Don't be lazy.
  14. Palpatine's rise to power was based on Hitler's rise to power. So to say it's the results of bad writing is idiotic. It was based on historic fact.
  15. I'm not making any personal comments about anyone. Sometimes people are just too stubborn or lazy to find a solution to the problem on their own, instead they complain for help from the devs. Try to take advantage of the options already available. Maybe your feelings about guilds is just because you haven't tried the best kind of guild for you.
  16. A while back I read a comment from the devs regarding a possible smartphone app that would allow access to crew skill stuff. If nothing is added in game then maybe the app is something that will help this issue.
  17. I don't think it's worth the time from their point of view. Having to create a new kind of account. Having to change how Legacy and account unlocks work. Families vary in number of people so why would BW want to deal with this? It wouldn't just be families that would sign up for this but friends too. And that would create lots of CS headaches for BW when friends dispute over what happens within the same account. It's not worth the trouble. I suggest buying the longer subscription packages so your family will save money if you decide on buying more than one sub. Or pay for one account and have one f2p account.
  18. Why don't you just join a guild? Wouldn't that help solve the problem instead of asking the devs to spend time on this?
  19. I seriously doubt it. How would that benefit them?
  20. Keep the cap where it is. Raising it just opens up loopholes for people to get what they are not willing to pay for.
  21. I'm not sure why this idea would be appealing to EA/BW. The idea of the coins is to generate more money for them . Your idea would go against that. They're already giving subscribers a reward of coins and cartel market items are available on the GTN. That's not enough?
  22. I like the idea of the Fleets i think they serve an important purpose. We already have plenty of reasons to spend time on the planets. What is needed on the Fleets are some social activities, places to play mini games, more incentive to mix and mingle.
  23. If returning players are not going to re- subscribe then I feel they don't deserve to cartel coins. If they don't find all the recently added content worth it then they should not be rewarded. Reward those who commit to a subscription, don't reward the quitters
  24. But we have no control over users who buy from these places. What we can control are the chat messages.
