  1. Is the drop rate unreasonably low? Yes. Most players purchase cartel packs with the knowledge that they are essentially buying a chance at receiving a specific item. Now that EA-ware is significantly lowering the odds of receiving that "gold" item, any player will now have to spend significantly more real world money to have a chance at receiving the gold item. Forget what other methods they may use to get what they want... When the risk far outways the reward by astronomical amounts, what incentive will people have to buy cartel packs? It's NOT an unreasonable expectation for that item to drop and then some for the cost of a single hypercrate. When a customer spends money they have a right to be entitled.
  2. Maybe adding a specific report option for gold spammers would help.
  3. They need to specifically put in the option to report for gold/credit spam. Just reporting for "spam" isnt as specific, nor will it warrant the response needed from EA-ware.
  4. /signed If they want to keep this game going, they better start catering to their best customers. IE, Role Players.
  5. Given how powerful companions can become, it would have to be something along the lines of raid level difficulty. The boss fights would have to be unforgiving and the mobs would have to hit like freight trains.
  6. They'll probably make everyone who missed it fork out $20 to get him back...
  7. Okay since EA/Bioware seem to be completely ignorant or incompetent, let me spell out what the player base wants. This one is a freebie, next time I'm charging. Two new Operations A couple new Flashpoints Newer, crazier, innovative warzones. A planet dedicated to open world PvP. Regular feedback from BioWare on the forums. We want to feel like you guys can hear us. This is actually the most important one. Things like this every six months and just maybe players will start to return.
  8. It seems the failure to react in time is a common theme with the Bioware SWTOR team. It happened in the first few months of the game when after the initial player loss people began leaving in droves due to low server populations and Bioware's failure to merge the servers. By the time they finally did merge them, it was already too late. Since that initial mismanagement SWTOR has been dying a slow and painful death... Now they're yet again being slow to react and the player base suffers for it.
  9. If they're going to make a new OP that's somehow related to the story, then it should be some randomized Zakuul vs. Alliance battle that happens on one of several planets. A bit like Star Fortresses albeit SIGNIFICANTLY harder. Like "bring lube" harder.
  10. Lets say each pack contains one pet, one mount, one color crystal, one weapon, one piece/crate of armor, and one dye. While the odds of getting specific items that you want are greatly reduced from drawing from an entire shipment, it strikes a balance that should make for a CC cost of ~300 per pack. Ultimately cost is up to Bioware.
  11. This has probably been requested at least one-hundred times already. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/b4/04/8b/b4048b5e0b66108a025cd2d3a14eda8c.jpg Or a least a more "Old Republic" take on that armor.
  12. Oh, and a body type that's something between the normal looking body type 2 and the freakishly hulk-ish body type 3.
  13. There's a lot of people who would like a better opportunity to acquire old cartel market items than just those stupid "grand" chance cubes. It'd be better to bring back the old packs and roll all the individual packs in each shipment into one "shipment" pack. Instead of releasing all the packs at once, rotate "shipment packs" every week. Cartel, Contraband, Bounty, Starfighter, Stronghold, Shadow, and Explorer. Each "shipment pack" would have a chance of giving 7 items all from the various packs (at least 1 item from each) that came with the original shipment. For example an Explorer "Shipment" Pack would contain items from: - Core World's Explorer's Pack - Deep Core Explorer's Pack - Mid Rim Explorer's Pack - Outer Rim Explorer's Pack - Wild Space Explorer's Pack This gives players old and new a chance at finally completing Revan's armor set or getting that nifty mount. It's a win-win idea.
  14. At least on the Ebon Hawk, it seems most people don't even know how to skip conversations...
  15. Revan could be the "light side" alternative to Valkorian.
  16. Somehow I think that's going to be the Dark Side ending of KotFE. 3.) Kira Carsen vs. Lana Beniko cat fight. I romanced Kira and now Lana, so I'm expecting this. Please do not disappoint Bioware!
  17. Yeah, I've noticed that. Maybe they could work that into the vigilance tree since that spec centers around blade dance.
  18. This is sort of a collection thread for any buffs we feel the Guardian/Juggernaught sub-class needs. I've been gone for a while so I'm interested to see what the community feels is underpowered or weirdly implemented.
  19. Now they just need to do something about that skirt.
  20. Maybe they should tap into that huge creative fan base Star Wars has cultivated. How hard would it be to have a monthly contest where people submit their own costume designs for the chance to see it in-game and receive credit for an awesome bit of armor?
  21. That's just flat out disappointing that KOTOR isn't considered cannon. The whole Old Republic thing takes place so far long ago that it can't possibly interfere with the new "cannon". Quite frankly KOTOR, KOTOR 2, and SWTOR (from a narrative point of view) are some of the best stuff to have ever come out of the EU/Legends.
