  1. I left. Quit the game. I'll check back every now and then to see if my server has merged. It's the only thing that would bring me back to the game.
  2. I can't figure out where to start The Trails quest chain on Voss. I've looked all over but no luck. I figure that there is a prerequisite quest, but can't find any info about that online. There is a bunch of good info on the quest itself and starting it at Garel-Mo, but he doesn't have anything to say to me. Can anybody shed some light on this?
  3. I understand that gear doesn't effect companion stats anymore... But what about weapon damage? Can I equip companions with empty orange weapons? Is damage a weapons stat or is it a companions stat? I think that the answer is yes, you can equip a companion with an empty orange weapon (the only thing you need to mod is color crystal if you want a specific color). But, I still have this nagging doubt...
  4. Thanks! So no alacrity on the dot monster? You probably saved me some cash too!
  5. I'm just getting geared up for pvp and I am wondering what augments to add for my balance sage? I read one post in the class forums that said mainstat/power but not to bother because 4.0 blah blah. I'm planning on ripping and sticking so I can keep the augs as I level up the gear. So to the question 14 augs, should I as a balance sage look at alacrity at all? Or just go all power? Or what? I really don't know, any advice would be appreciated.
  6. I play with friends a lot so it is a pain if I am in a group and need/want to buy something off the gtn to have to log out, log into the money manger, send money, log out, log back in, and then have to regroup just to buy that shiny bauble! It's now not just affecting me, but my two friends as well. Sure none of this takes a lot of time, but now you have 3 people in a group doing it and it starts to add up. It would be a nice convenience for sure if we could have legacy cash on hand.
  7. Do the Prelude to the Shadow of Revan storyline quests (you get them from your ships terminal). They reward you with a full set of 162 gear (minus relics and one implant) plus 298 basic comms. Then all you need to do is buy the relics and implant from the Basic Level 55 Gear vendors on the fleet and the mods/enhancements (148) for your main/offhand from the Level 53 Mods vendor in the same area. Edit: By stacking comms she means you need to start saving up Warzone Comms. At level 60 you can buy your pvp set gear (its level 168 and as long as you put War Hero or +expertise crystals in your main and offhand you are set at 2018 expertise no bolster required AND you get set bonuses at 2, 4, and 6 pieces). You will need 4075 warzone comms to buy the full set. Big time pvpers look to get into the tier 2 set as soon as they hit 60 it costs an additional 16525 warzone comms (and you need to turn in a tier 1 piece to get a tier 2 piece so the grand total for a full tier 2 set is 20600 warzone comms!!!). As you can see tier 1 is pretty easy to get into, but if you want the good gear you are going to need to save up quite a bit!
  8. You need 162 in every slot (including ear/implant/relics) EXCEPT main and off hand which need to be 148 to pull max 2018 expertise. You can get most of the 162s from the Forged Alliances quest line OR buy all of them from the lvl 55 Basic Gear vendor on the fleet. You can get the 148s from the lvl 53 Modification vendor on the fleet in the same room as the lvl 55 Basic Gear vendor.
  9. In the rename your character field, try using their old names, it worked for a few of mine when I came back. Apparently I lost them then whoever took them lost them too!
  10. As an aside here (I have nothing to offer about Treek) you really do not need to hoard those comms for endgame. They give you a ton of comms in the Hutt expansion (and a super buff that will get you through the story even if you are in greens 10 lvls old) and you get a ton of great gear in the Revan prelude (full set of 162 lvl gear minus one implant and relics), plus you receive 297 comms for just starting the Revan storyline. It costs 100 comms to fully gear you and 1 companion and I think you easily make those in the Hutt story that takes you to lvl 55 when you can buy 172 lvl gear. Edit: Oh you might be looking at the cost of the lvl 55 Basic Gear and wanting to save for that. Well guess what, that is the exact gear you get in the Revan prelude missions!
  11. Thanks this is good information that I didn't know about, I just bought SoR. I'm going to go run some characters through those missions this weekend!
  12. Being new to endgame playing, I am trying to figure this out. I thought I had it figured out: hit 55, buy 55 mods, profit! The only place I see to buy 162 gear is at the lvl 55 Basic Gear vendors. I looked on GTN and between lvl 53 and 55 nothing hit this on the mark...? Purple 53 was 158, Blue 55 is 172. I didn't see any green 55 is that 162? I ask because the lvl 55 Basic Gear is ridiculously overpriced compared to the lvl 55 mod vendor! I'm good on the weapon and off hand, that's lvl 53 mods at 148, but the rest looks like a pain if I am stuck grinding comms for the Basic Gear just to pvp! Edit: Green 55s are 168 So is there anywhere else to get 162s besides Basic 55 Gear? I really don't want to grind pve to pvp! Edit edit: That's 580 comms for a full set of crappy PVE gear!!! Edit edit edit: I forgot relics, so that's now 740 comms!!!
  13. I can't find this achievement anywhere. Can someone point me to it please?
  14. Thanks for the answers both of you. So now I am wondering who are the big winners and who are the losers class quest story-wise!?! It just seems that (first world problem incoming) we are leveling way to fast! I've dumped a boat load of resources, earned and spent fortunes (literally 1 million to broke more than once) trying to keep gear up to date and seeing it obsolete within a few hours! So, I vowed to stick to fleet upgrades, now I find myself in the situation where I have my 96 (ugh 100) comms and my gear is obsolete, but I am at a level directly between upgrade levels; say level 43, do I buy the 41s or wait for the 45s. I generally opt to wait, but those last 2 levels get rough when I'm packing lvl 33 mods! Adric, you're 100% right, I could have sworn it was 24 though, whoops! My friends and I have talked about going back to run older content for extra comms, that seems like a good idea now. DocDAM I am looking at this from just running class stories, no FPs just straight through class story straight out of the gate. It's good to know we don't have to sweat a big bank at the end, but we have currently just been racing to the end of chapter 3 original content stuff.
  15. I keep seeing the answer to this as "when things get tough" and "it costs ~ 100 comms to upgrade", but I am looking for a more definitive answer. First of it costs 48 comms to upgrade a fully mod-able character and 96 to get you and 1 companion set up. With those hard numbers what about comm quest rewards from the main story quest? How many do we ultimately get? How often? Does each story reward the same amount of comms? If so, then we should easily be able to lock down the best points to upgrade. If not, it gets a little complicated, but its not undoable. My next question then is how many comms should we be banking as we slide into 50/55/60? My general feeling about this has been none, start hitting FPs to gather this bank, but I am not sure I am right about that. Any insight revolving around actual numbers would be greatly appreciated!
  16. I have a GTX 470 and have never had to much lag or stutter, but now I get streaks/tracers from blaster fire all the time (flying off in random directions). A friend told me this happened to him too, but I havent seen anything about it here on the forums, is this common too?
  17. Saw this the other night and made me lol: "Sweet top dps and I'm only in Recruit gear!" At the end of Huttball.
  18. I would think that you should have about 5 pieces of modable gear (orange - head, hands, chest, legs, and feet) and a modable lightsaber. If not go to one of the social vendors and round yourself out on the cheap. Then just have your Arti and Cybertecher keep you up to date (leave the synthweaver for now, your arti needs the resources, sythnweave with the leftovers). If you cant farm the resources physically, crew skill them; it's a credit dump, but well worth it. Rinse and repeat for a companion or two (Kira looks rediculas in the social 1 armor, but it's cheap and it's orange).
  19. It seems to me that the shuttle either bounces off a wall in that canyon, or a bunch of fighters coming in from the front of it blast it up really bad just off screen. There are a lot of fighters that fly in from the front at that asteroid canyon part, but my guess is that its bumping a wall. Either way you need to make sure that its health is over half full before beginning that phase. Also, as mentioned earlier you need to blast the crap out of those Corillian Corvettes in the beginning too. Hit their engines and guns hard, because they come back to haunt you at the end. Overall, this is just a really hard mission.
  20. Oh crap! Lol! You're right!!! I haven't gotten anyone off Coruscant before 19-20 though, I grab all those side quests.
  21. Thanks for the replies everybody, sorry if I offended GnatB! I'm new to this game and you might notice the forums have no search function, so I am stuck asking my newb questions.
