i'm supposed to go to Taris at level 15? that is the minimum level requirement for the first of the Tier 2 component gear. We are talking about crafting to level here, and I did mention hiher level toons as gatherers being the only option.

My experience is crafting Synthweave from 1-100 making all 3 blue schematics for each green in crafting levels 1-40. That is all gear that is minimum level 9-13. At crafting level 60 the ingredients switch to Tier 2 and minimum level goes to 15. Now, I know there are Tier 2 nodes on Coruscant (and would assume like-wise for the Imp homeworld); but can not find nearly enough to farm to grind these post 60 (and minimum level 15) items any farther. I think the only way to keep up to level items, then, is to have another character as gatherer of a higher level. That is just my experience. Obviously I could just focus on the few items I actually need and probably keep up with the post level 15/Tier 2 items, but I think I get where the OP is coming from. If you want to make it all, you simply cant.

Thank you for the reply! I kind of thought that's what it was; but then thought Crit was DPS, Redoubt was Defense, so Overkill might be something else.

I have an Armormech, I understand what Critical and Redoubt do, but what does Overkills +Power do.

Hey thanks for the reply. You're right about his looks (I really didn't like the looks of him in Strength gear). I did notice that Aim took the Tech Damage stats up while Strength took the Melee damage stats up. I'm gonna stick to the guide and stay with Aim I guess.

Ok, I think I figured this out on my own. It's the sword isnt it? Aim effects the Tech damage on the sword, and that is more important than the base melee. I'm new, I'm confused, and this forum doesn't have (any?) search feature...

It seems to me that as a melee guy he should have Strength as primary stat. I tried it out (equiping him with Strength items) and his Melee stats (Damage and Damage Bonus) went up, while Melee crits stayed about the same. What am I missing here?

Thanks for the replies guys! Ok, I was afraid that I was just waisting cash on the Treasure Hunts. I DID figure out about REing the greens for blues, but had no idea about the purples!

Other than the occasional Schematic/Companion Gift/Lockboxes you can get through Treasure Hunting missions, can I get everything I need for Artifice through Archaeology. I mean there are Power Stone and Color Crystal nodes right? Do Treasure Hunting 'Gem' missions just return these same things? Archaeology missions also have 'Color Crystal' and 'Power Stone' options these seem the same as the Treasure Hunting 'Gem' missions (just not randomized).
