The most important thing in pvp is to learn keybinds and mouse turning. I think that goes without saying, but you will have a very rough time if you are a clicker or keyboard turner.

I rather enjoy it when I see RBL is on the other side.

Just curious to see if anyone else would like to see a MOBA style pvp map. A mix of PVE elements in warzone would be fun with a multi lane type match. Kill / Defend your NPCs to destroy towers to ultimately win the match!

Will bolster remain the same level (232) in pvp with the new gear?

DvL gear was never an issue as far as over bolster, max I had in a Warzone was 140k HP and that was with no set bonus ( not sure how much of a boost that provides) . Now with basically all 242s (missing 2 pieces) I have 126k HP and doing the same if not more damage in WZ. I would assume 135k-140k is still possible with the right mods and enhancements.

My sub is up in a few days, does that count?

Seems another one of my posts was deleted for simply asking a logical question, so I will post again. Why go through all the trouble of making a supplementary gearing system when all you had to do was make it possible for Legacy CXP? Seems simple enough to get an answer form the devs.

Be wonderful if we could get a dev response, but discuss.. Seems that whole month of development time on new gearing alternative could have been better spent on something like a Warzone, Operation, ect.

No, I will let me sub lapse and read the reviews of how the new patch goes. Why should I invest blind faith into something? Edit: Fixing the GC is not the problem. I would highly suspect that if engaging content was included with 5.0 ( Not one time story modes) most would have a better attitude about the GC system. When you put a new system in place with little in the way of new and innovative content it almost becomes arbitrary. Re-use some of your assets, combined things like GSF and ops or even a battlefront esq type of pvp that includes walkers and space battles. You guys tried with the walker mode in the story chapters and I think thats as close to innovative as you got. Imagine doing that with a pvp mode where its walker defense, or insert a few star fighters into the mix. Its a shame because like everyone else says and knows, there is so much more this game could have been. Replay value - those two words should echo to all devs who create video games.

GC system is fine, the lack of content to use this grindy system is the problem. So that's why I'm letting my sub die. Once there is new content to try that is not a copy pasta I may return.

I see the GC system as a replacement for real content. Think of how many more PVP maps, FPs, and OPs we could have had if they didnt spend the majority of their time on the new gearing system. Now I am assuming the GC system took more then a days thought and is something they did spend quite a bit of time on to implement ( I could be wrong, and thats even worse). I think the anger may be a bit misdirected in the sense that if we were to have received decent content with this "Expansion" the player base would not be as up in arms. Uprisings are lazy, not that they are bad but they are lazy. If say they would have put another 10+ uprisings it may be different. This is the first MMO I have ever played that an average gamer can sit down and destroy in a day or two. Edit: TLDR The GC system would have worked if they had enough content to back it up, it was to much of a change for no reason and nothing to support the grind, not to mention ALT killer.

If your determined to get a certain item, and your pocket is still full you could buy the crates and sell them to buy the item you want off the GTN. Or you could have bought 2 lvl 70 characters that have close to max crafting skill and bypass everything that needs credits in this game. The amount of money people are spending on mid tier gear at the moment is astounding. I think ive sold atleast 30-40 mil in enhancements alone. edit: literally 5 seconds late lol

Eliminating someones voice is a very powerful tool, being able to say what you want is a right, but that does not mean it will not have consequences. I personally treat the way people talk behind the veil of anonymity the same way a drunk person talks, they lose all inhibitions and say what they would never say in public to someones face. That goes to show the character of who someone really is. I am onboard with ignoring the **** starters and ignorant ppl in general, you cannot reason or talk to them, nor do they care to be reasoned with. At some point I am going to be playing a single player game because there is notcensor for what the kiddies and idiots can say. Silencing a problem is not ignoring the problem, not in this case, its actually the absolute opposite. If only a RL mute button was real.

Now that its all gone and I have gone back to my PVP ways I was wondering what is in store for us both PVE and PVP for the future?

How much DR and damage would you be giving up? If i get another 5% DR I could care less about deflection lasting 3 more seconds.

I'm sure this horse has already been beaten, but its very surprising after all the time I have been away from the game that there was never an armor set to go with the mask. Is there a particular reason for this? edit: thought i put this in cartel section.

Just had a quick idea that may be a happy middle ground for all involved. To counter the unlucky who have yet to see a set piece, or those that generally hate RNG, why not give everyone the ability to buy the sets once they reach the next command rank. Once at lvl 91 you should be getting gear that is better than T1 so I figured it would also be fair. Obviously this wouldnt work for T3 stuff, but its a great place to meet in the middle.
