  1. @JediRelentless. Yeah I also know some players who stock up on a lot of CC just because they're not interested in what's in the CM so far. And yeah I'm sure they will buy more sub time with that, but they will have less CC than before. Lets say a 30 day game time item gives out 500 CC as a complimentary but the game time item itself cost 1500 CC. If I buy that then I'm 1000 CC shorter(or poorer if you see it that way) and if I kept buying that then eventually I would be out of CC. By then I would have to use my real money to get more CC. On another note I did saw that other MMOs have similar items like this^. I did some digging and this is what I know so far: .Eve Online has PLEX,like Remianen said. .Rift has REX .EverQuest 1 and 2 has KRONO .TERA has Chronoscroll .and the upcoming Wildstar MMO will have the C.R.E.D.D.(or CREDD) Those MMOs^ got their own cool names for those items,so I'm guessing maybe Bioware will do the same thing. It could be a name like: .cartel card, cartel pass, cartel key, cartel ring, cartel premium, cartel exchange, cartel treasure box Those are just some of my ideas anyway but hopefully Bioware can think of a better name for it.
  2. Last September I heard 2 different news, one was about the purchase of cartel coins in-game,the other was about another MMO called Wildstar talking about an item they made called C.R.E.D.D. I read both of these news and an idea just occurred to me. What if we could buy an in-game item from the cartel market that would give us extra game time as a sub? We could either buy it for ourselves or sell it on the GTN for credits like all the other CM items. I know we could purchase game time from the Swtor website for 60 days game time and that's great. The only few downsides I see with this is that we can't sell the 60 days game time on the GTN for a lot of credits. Plus if we could I can imagine it would be sold for millions and millions of credits. Luckily I have some ideas for that too. I was thinking Bioware could sell these in-game items on the CM for shorter game time. Like for example, there could be a item that gives 30 days game time for at least 1500 CC and another item for 15 days of game time for at least 750 CC(and maybe a 7 days game time item too). We could purchase these items from the CM and sell them on the GTN for maybe not too many millions of credits. If these items aren't too expensive on the GTN then hopefully more people will consider getting them with just credits. Once we can buy them we can just right click them in our inventory and viola! We get extra game time as a sub! Also one thing I like to add is I think it would be better if we can directly purchase these items from the CM and not let it become a random item drop from the cartel packs. Let us just buy from maybe the consumable or unlocks category in the CM. On the other hand if Bioware lets us have these items from both the cartel packs and directly buying them, then that's OK by me.
  3. What? Pay to win? Oh you must think this could be used in PVP? That's not what I had in mind, although that might be funny if it happens. No what I had in mind was that we could use this Walker in PVE and shoot anyone in sight. If we can't use it against bosses in Flashpoints or Operations then that's fine. On the other hand,if the Walker can only be a mount without the weapons, then I'd still buy it.
  4. OK before I subbed again recently I was playing as a preferred player for a while so I'll chime in. The restrictions are annoying as heck I'll admit, but the 1 thing that gave me some relief was those unlock items from the CM(and the GTN). I bought alot of them and after that...the game was almost as enjoyable when I was a sub. Plus didn't one of the devs said they would remove the PVP restrictions recently? I think they did. Anyway my point is there are ways to remove some restrictions so you don't have to deal with them forever. In the meantime lets also hope Bioware would at least raise the limits of some of these restrictions.*cough* credit cap! *cough*
  5. Recently after the bounty event was over I went back to PVPing to get some new gears. While I was doing this I realized something. We have a lot of Reputation organizations that have their own reputation vendors, some of them are located in other planets, while several of them are in the fleet. The one thing they have in common is that they are all for PVEers. That's when I realized we don't have any reputation organizations for the PVPers! If you ask me I think it would be cool if there was one.
  6. strange...I haven't notice much of these effects, maybe I have the wrong class to look at. These effects don't bother me but having a toggle on/off switch for them would be useful.
  7. I noticed some cantinas would sell foods and drinks but very few of them. I support this idea just so my toons don't feel hungry all the time.
  8. Karagga's walker... yeah I would totally spend my money to have that, especially if it can attack people like the original walker. If this was sold from the CM then I would still buy it.
  9. I seriously did not think about this. But yeah I think it would be nice to have a channel like that.
  10. OK I couldn't read all of that but I did understand some of it. You're asking for more than 5 cargo bays? Well I'm a hoarder of items so I support this idea, even if we do have to spend more credits or CC to get some. Now as for your questions. No I don't think the SSSP will be in a boxed expansion. As for the other questions I don't know the answer to them.
  11. A) I can support full body tattoos B) I don't get this one. Are you asking for a new bounty event or a new rocket gear for the bounty event vendor?
  12. If this darksaber can be obtained somehow then heck I'll spend my money for it.
  13. If I find it funny then I just laugh at it. If not then I'll just leave the gen chat open since I don't take it seriously too often. Thats how I do it.
  14. damn! I wouldn't mind spending some money for that armor.
  15. From what I know so far we can trade Warzone commendations for credit cases(or credit boxes if you call it that) thats being sold from a PVP vendor in the fleet. I was thinking if we could do the same thing with our planetary commendations and trade them away for those credit cases as well then I bet some of us here would easily take advantage of this. I know I would since I usually get a lot of these planetary comms.
  16. Yus! I was waiting for them to add more weapons that had preview pics of them from a lil while ago, like that JM-29 cannon. And also since we're getting Marka Ragnos's armor, is it possible for us to get his scepter too?
  17. Yes exactly thats what I was thinking. I spoke with a few people in gen chat about upgrading to the DDE or CE and they were still using the standard edition if I recall. I also mention about the VIP vendor and told them what was in it. After that they weren't convinced about upgrading yet since they felt there wasn't much incentives to do so. So Bioware if you're reading this I would suggest you add some more items for the VIP vendor. It can be any exclusive items: orange gears, crafting mats, companion customizations, weapons, dye colors....whatever! If you add more items then I bet you'll be making some extra income from the players who'll be willing to upgrade from the standard edition just to get some of these VIP items.
  18. I think this is the right forum for this so here goes... Have you guys notice when our toons talk with random NPCs that speak alien languages our toons can somehow be able to understand what they're saying? No matter who we talk to our toons somehow know what they're talking about, even if its from an ancient alien race. Like for example on Tatooine one of the side missions there would lead up to a Rakata thats been locked away and we would eventually speak with it at the end of the mission. This is one of examples that make me think, how the hell can our characters understand every language in this game,no matter what or how old the language may be? Do you guys know how this is possible?
  19. I play the space combat of this game occasionally so I'm going to chime my opinion in here. I think there might be another reason for why we can't use our personal spaceship for the Galactic Starfighter PVP and I don't think its about the Star Wars lore. Remember some months back Bioware introduce the grade 7 ship upgrades onto the cartel market? Well after that happened there was an uproar of people crying out that the game is becoming "pay-to-win" and there was quite a lot of arguments about it but it died down since then. And thats when I thought back to the Galactic starfighter PVP. If we could use our personal spaceships for this then it might become unbalanced. People with grade 5 upgrades or lower would face against other people who bought the grade 7 upgrades from the cartel market or GTN. If that happens then I can see the "pay-to-win" talks coming back.
  20. hmm it says the picture is not found
  21. When there's a patch that takes over 4 hrs of maintenance I'm thinking it would involve some new content or features or alot of bug fixes. Or sometimes both. Either way I got a feeling this patch would be good somehow.
  22. so is this how Oricon was discovered when people wanted to search for the dread masters? interesting
  23. to Exeiro, I don't think Oricon was suppose to be fun. With the dread masters there I had a feeling it was going to be pretty difficult and maybe unpleasant. Then again when I think about it I guess thats how its suppose to be. Challenging, even in a non-fun way.
