Starting off by asking for alacrity boosts on tanking gear is a bad way to start a request. Finishing by assuming that all tanks in game all make the same exact choices on how they gear their characters doesn't help in the least.

I really love my Guardian and Juggernaut tanks. However there are times when I know I'm gonna be ping ponged all over the place at the start of a pull and as I'm bouncing all over the place doing no good to anyone I find myself wondering why I bother in the first place.

How many planetary and classic commendations do you currently have? And do you have the expansion?

It's still broken. Inless you're in group with them and actually on a FP or OP all inspecting another player will show you is their picture with your gear listed.

How do you get 4 months into a year without realising that regular sub payments haven't been taken out?

My plan for my next fresh 50 is to spend a day or two grindin low lvl heroics to pay for a full suit of Makeb planetary comm vendor mods for me and a prefered companion and use that to level on up to 55. Then I can start workin on the basic gear. Unless I feel like runnin the 50 hm fps for the hell of it I can skip them and the classic comm grind completely.

I don't believe any gear sets should be just handed out but lets compare prices. A full set of mods (armor, mod, and enhancement) from Makeb comm vendor (armor rating 140) costs just 154 planetary comms. The classic gear (armor rating 146) costs anywhere from 70 to 150 classic coms apiece. Is the stat and set bonus difference really enough to justify that kinda price difference?

Forgive me if this is already been put forth elsewhere but I'm killin my phone battery lookin for the answer. I know alacrity reduces cast times and gcd time on insta cast abilities but does it also affect the cool down time of the abilities as well? And by what ratio?

I rather tend to agree. Considering it's limited effective lifespan it seems a little pricey. Grindin out enough comms to get enough to do any good will have you leveled past the point it will do you any good.

I started Makeb at 51 thanks to a week of gainin xp while waiting for its release. I am playing with a friend and am in a guild so do have those xp bonuses, whatever they come out to. With maybe a third of the planet opened up so far I am three quarters through lvl 53. I foresee no problems at all with hittin 55 before I'm done with Makeb without the binoc and scanner missions.

I haven't read the thread OP so forgive me if this has already been suggested, but if a personal credit card or paypal are out of the question you can buy a mastercard or visa giftcard that acts like a credit card with only as much funds on it as you supply at purchase. Then you can use that to make the purchase of the expansion pack. Nothing of yours is vulnerable after the transaction as it was only a temp gift card with nothing left on it after the pufchase.

I don't have a link but it's my understanding that they are not planning on implementing any of the off sized races. So Jawas and Yodas species are a no go.

I am still vehemently opposed to anything other than the codex entries bring shared across legacy. And even that isn't a good idea as seeing which codex entries you don't have tells you which datacrons you still need. No, if your character wants the magical attribute boost from the strange glowing cube they need to go visit it themselves.

I have noted this problem too. Now while it's entirely possible I might have left the bars unlocked once or twice after shifting an ability, it happens far far to often for that to be the cause.

That is the chestplate I was throwing a fit about yesterday! I should have paid more attention to the excellent info posted on dulfy.net There are screenshots of it there too. I apologise to one and all for the snit fit I threw yesterday. I still say there are way too many wasted items in game cause they are not able to adjust mods.

I think #1 will no longer be much of a concern and #3 become largely irrelevant if #2 is granted. Speed up the objective respawn and the npcs and ninjas are no longer a concern. However they would need to add a mechanic so that missions requiring multiple objects hit can't be completed at a single fast respawning point.

Mods don't dare close thus thread! There are many people affected by this sensless bombing and as an American company you have every right to show support and solidarity with our fellow Americans affected by it. To those who don't like the idea, fine you don't have to spend any money on it. But attacking the op for suggesting it puts you squarely on the Jackhat list.
