That's why you see I used the word "I" in my statement. The fan base can make up their own minds...but to me a founder isn't someone who pulls the ripcord on the parachute at the 1st sign the game needed some work... the real and dedicated fans of the game and to me the true founders are the ones who saw the potential..stuck it out and helped the devs change the game to where it is now 3 years later. The active dedicated fanbase that helped further the games development through all the issues. Founder is just a title for someone who laid the bucks down before launch..i consider someone who bought the game after launch and stuck it out more of a true founder of the game then someone who left. They showed the dedication to the developers work and were willing to lok past the issues and become part of the process of change. Thats like one of my old employees who quit during our rocky 1st year coming back claiming they help start the company....14 years later its the ones who stuck it out through all the crap we dealt with are the ones i give credit to and they are the ones i rewarded with healthy salaries and benefits now..for being there when we needed them the most and showing us the patience we needed as we struggled the 1st year.

No offense but. people i consider "real" founders are the ones who actually stuck it out and let the game get better as they knew it would because they saw the potential.....Those are the true fans and true founders of the game welcome back anyways and have fun

No.... if you were out actual real money out of your own pocket as in real $$ spent buying Cartel coins..then i would say yes you might have an argument.. this is no different then asking for a refund on monopoly money...its non existent except in a Video game "currency" that can be earned more of at any time without even having to get out of your chair.... If your that jacked about it then don't level up your skills until after it goes free this week...roll a new toon while you wait...

No...no way...no thank-you. 12x was far too much and leveled far too fast. I could see them offering 50% boosts or 1hr 100% boosts to those who want it....and i would only agree to this since it would be optional. many of us play for the stories...and yes..re-playing the story lines is fun to do again.

TBH none.. i stopped playing until the 12x bonus is finished. I was leveling too fast and i like to take my time..+ i was leveling way ahead of other friends who are waiting until release to buy the expansion..so TBH im not sad to see the 12x XP go.

you have 7 1/2 days until release... thats 180 hours. you have time. you can sleep when your dead.

If you go into a new expansion and expect perfection and a complete bug free expereience .. then its yourself only your fooling. If you want "bugfree"..don't play an expansion or a game at release. period.

12 xp is fine.. make it an option and not something that isnt an option. The system is in place just requires a tweek. We have optional Xp boosts available already.. rename the stupid thing to 12x xp to create a new boost, make the toggled "buff" last for X amount of hours ..if the player wants to use it fine..if not also fine.. choice is a wonderful thing..especially if its being paid for.

you'll have to excuse ikinai and their fellow troll friends in this thread. ITS NOT TROLLING..I work in remote areas of the country and in the far north with NO internet access what so ever outside satellite which is extremely expensive and not excatly something i can just jump on and enjoy a game with when ever i feel bored. . i bought the expansion to take advantage of the 7 days early access because that corresponds with my next vacation which i get little of . When i am on the road i am literally in the middle of no where and cannot just "login to swtor when ever i feel like it to make a purchase and the purchase HAD to be made before i fly out this weekend. i am leaving for one of the my trips to remote areas starting this Saturday and will not be back until December 2nd when its too late to pre-order. Unfortunately the real trolls and children of the forums cannot see there are people playing this game with far different lives then their little enclosed boxes they have come to expect others live in as well. I placed my preorder so when i do return i will have early acess to the expansion..i was only asking about a toggle. and no i couldn't have waited to order it considering starting next week i am literally going to be about as far north in the Yukon as you can get where there is still civilization and the week after that i will be in a remote diamond mine doing final checks for winter shutdown. welcome to the world ladies..not everyone fits into the little box you imagine they do. and no the community is not great..its turned into a crap pile of garbage people who cannot see past their own little lives ...aside from the few good people still left these forums and they know who they are...they are a garbage heap

You just listed the main reasons why i dont post in these forums much or even visit them very often any more at all.. The forum community here is TBH toxic at best. there are good people obviously and i try to put the trolls on the Iggy list as soon as i find them but too many kiddies without the concept of differences...but at least they will make good little mindless puppets for someone when they grow up..lol either way..I'm just shocked that in a game and a genre that is built around choice and customization..they didn't give the option to exercise a choice in game of how the boost was enabled. I get i didn't HAVE to buy it..but then again im not going to justify my individual situation and my reasons either for buying it when i did.

I am a Completionist..i figured considering the multiple game play styles something as big as a x12 xp boost they would have given an option like the current XP boosts you can get given to you or buy in the Cartel market.. you can use them or choose not to.. I never have used them. i like taking my time.. i was trying to start a few new toons on the Harbinger server as i have been on Shadowlands since launch ..they said their was an Xop boost but i cant see where they laid out how it was implemeted. I assumed like i said it was like the other ones. Click on it and it activates for a period of time..dont want to use it..it stays unused in your inventory or you can destroy it. (<< this would have been a better option as not everyone plays an mmo the same) i;ll just stick with my alts for the time being and 55's and wait to start a new toon until after the expansion comes out.

i bought the expansion when i had the money to buy it..... an option to turn it on or off and asking for it is perfectly reasonable.

I appreciate the XP boost... but it really needs to be an option given not something that is mandatory. I can see the value in marketing terms and for many players they would love this and i wouldnt want to take that away..but for others a meteroric rise isnt always what we are looking for. I am others would also like the option to toggle it off...just now on alderaan...barely enough credits to buy anything..and just got off choosing my dps or tank path..and haven't even chosen my crafting yet and i'm level 16? no i cant draw credits from other toons or legacy boosts as i am rolling a new toon on a new server. As i said love the xp boost..but it needs to be optional and up to the player to decide if they want to take advantage of it. maybe give the toggle a 1-6 hour cool off before it can be turned off or re enabled..

I tend to re-roll toons if i dont like how a build is going or just because i like the storyline so much i want to replay that story since it may have been a while , or ........many reasons why we would create new toons. Its not a big pain, but still a pain to have to go into the guild and get someone to add the new ALT to the Guild. how about an option to add the account to the guild and hence all alts created on that account, on that server are automatically listed with the guild.

do you people even realize how easy it is for the credit spammers to make multiple accounts at a time,... Bioware can be banning them by the bushel full and they will be back with 10 more 30 minutes later. just because you THINK they are not doing anything, doesn't mean they aren't trying to curb them..but the credit spammers have the ability to create multiple accounts at a time , have the people to do it and have the desire to do it. if you make the account creation system too hard new players may not want to join the game, make it too easy and you get potential issues with spammers. Its a never ending battle. See a spammer, click the name , report spam...move on with life. as for the "innocent people getting caught up"...BS !!! there is nothing innocent about someone going out of the game to an advertised site selling credits and plopping down real money to buy them..they know EXACTLY what they are doing and are NOT innocent and IMO should be banned for it as well if they are caught and proven they bought from a known spam account.
