  1. This. OPs just want an even more of an IWIN button it seems.
  2. I agree, though since most of the people on this forum are unaware of concepts such as kiting, you will only get flamed for this .

    Nerf Jedi Sentinel

No. He was not. If his charge made him immune to cc he was a Guardian. You can easily tell by the fact that he has one lightsabre not two.

    Nerf Jedi Sentinel

rofl. Sentinels cannot do that. Its guardians that can be immune to cc. Are you sure that the 800k damage was a sentinel? or did you just see a giant blue lightsabre and assume "OMG SENTINELS AGAIN" and come to the forums to ask for nerfs? Edit: and now you are changing your story. Its 2-3 people now, not all 4. These threads are getting tiresome.

    Nerf Jedi Sentinel

Um... so you lose 2v4 with your premade? Presumably this premade has a healer, 2 dps and a tank. There is no way one sentinel has enough dps to kill someone through guard and heals. Not to mention 4 ppl can keep a sentinel perma-cced. So since you say you're not bad, I can only conclude you are making all this up, seems to be a popular pastime today (just earlier there was a "OMG SENTINEL 1v3 COMMANDOS" thread).
  6. Considered underpowered by who? Anyone half decent knows they are absolutely ridiculous.
  7. Hi, Could everyone list the specs for each class that they think are viable in PvP e.g.:- Scoundrel - Scrapper/Dirty Fighting. Commando - Heal (Maybe). Sorcerer - Madness or Heal. Marauder - All 3. Vanguard - Tank/Assault. Guardian - Vigilance/Focus. Gunslinger - All. Shadow - Tank spec. I dont think any class is in such a bad way that they are totally useless in pvp, but perhaps thats just me.
  8. What? Did you not even read what I wrote? Republic has alot more noobs than imperial, I thought this was common knowledge. Now, these noobs are queueing all the time as opposed to not queuing at all...
  9. So I play republic side on Tomb of Freedon Nadd. Before the daily change the matches were roughly 50-50 (though slightly in imperial favour, due to the fact that they seem to have at least one premade every single wz). However, since the daily change, I am forced to play with people who seem incapable of doing even the simplest things. I win about 10% of warzones now. I see sub 100k dps all the time. I see sub 100k healers that only heal themselves all the time, that is assuming we even have a healer at all. Because of this I can't really do much - I just get nerdfocused by at least 3 people every time I try to do anything, usually resulting in me having the highest deaths by far - but also paradoxically the highest damage (250k-ish). Why did bioware feel the need to give a cookie to people who are so terrible they couldn't even win 3 warzones a day? It makes literally no sense. If you want to give terrible players free pvp gear, let them get 100 wz comms from some weekly quest or something instead.

    Imbalance Forseen

On ToFN. I have not seen one single player that is in FULL war hero gear. Most people that PvP pretty much all the time have between one and four pieces.

    Buff Cybertech

Most people get money from doing dailies. I find dailies mind-numbing and would rather play warzones instead. Warzones give like 5k per 15 mins. 20k is a lot of money...
  12. Exotech stims and whatever comes after them will never be cheap because the recipe is rare...
  13. I think one of the factors contributing to the rather low TTK at the moment in PvP, is the fact that almost everyone rolled biochem which gives them +120 to their main stat and +40ish power as well. Whats even worse is that the better stims of the Exotech variety can only be crafted by people who do alot of PvE, since the recipe is a rare drop. What is needed is a PvP stim that is better than all these and cannot be used alongside them. Something along the lines of 40 wz comms for a +400 expertise stim that lasts 2 hours and persists through defeat. If this change is not made rather soon, PvPrs will simply not be able to afford the ludicrously expensive stims from PvE and will be at a disadvantage. Whats more is that PvPers cant even just reroll biochem (which is what almost all of them have done anyway it seems) since they have stated they will not upgrade the reusable biochem stims...
  14. So... I leveled cybertech while leveling and now that I'm 50 I find all I can do with it is make reusable grenades (with a 3 min cooldown rofl). Meanwhile biochems get +120 main stat/+45 power absolutely free. If I want that stim I have to buy it (from biochemists) for 20k+ for a single 2 hour stim. These stat boosts are essential for pvp and yet for pvp players 20k is a huge amount of money. This all seems very ridiculous to me. Soon everyone on my server will be biochem due to how ridiculous it is compared to the other trade skills.
  15. Well, you can't really kite an Operative DPS because you lose so much HP very quickly while stunned. Any good OP dps can put out 400k+ damage easily and top the charts.
  16. God Tier: Operative (Healer & DPS). Mid Tier: Tanksin, Pyro PT, Sorc (Madness), Sniper Low Tier: Marauder, Juggernaut, Merc. Reasons: Operative - ridiculous healing while also kiting away anything that could actually kill them. Beyond absurd burst as a dps. Tanksin - Good damage, can slow down a cap for like 20 sec because they take so long to die, then they can restealth and pop aoe. Pyro PT - Kill anything in 4 seconds. Sorc - Amazing kiting ability and huge ranged dps potential (can get away from melee, can kill other ranged). Healing is still pretty reasonable too. Sniper - Massive damage, so many ways to deal with melee. Can stand toe to toe with other ranged. Mara/Jugg - Melee is weak in general because every class that you could otherwise kill has at least 1 knockback, 1-2 stuns and or 1-2 roots. Merc - Healers can still be pretty good if well geared, they cant kite as well as other ranged and their damage isnt as high either.
  17. I agree its totally out of control.
  18. So it seems that from scouring the combat logs people have deduced two things: 1. The operative did not play perfectly. 2. I did not play perfectly. However, nobody has made it clear that he was more skilled/less skilled than I am. You guys even call his opener a "rotation" which means he pushes the same buttons every fight. There is NO SKILL in this at all - fact is, he just popped all of his damage into me and used evasion when his stunlock ended. He probably does this EVERY SINGLE FIGHT. This does not make him a skilled player, since skill implies he has to react to his target. Maybe the best & most well geared Sentinel in the world could beat this particular operative 1v1, but this is irrelevant. There have been multiple responses CONFIRMING that an OP who pops trinket&adrenal will own ANYONE and this is not balance. Don't assume that you would need a log of some super hardcore mega awesome sentinel getting owned by an operative to make the point that OPs are ridiculously overpowered. Also, people keep saying that I think I'm the best player etc. I never said this, and unlike all these keyboard warriors who think they are pro at this game, I most certainly know I am not.
  19. I'm not arguing with him because he agreed with me as per my quote. Against a pyro I can see him coming and pre-emptively pop defensive cooldowns. Also, pyros are really quite overpowered too, but that is another story (any half decent one easily tops the damage board with 1.5x the damage of the next highest class).
  20. So... thanks for supporting my case that they are overpowered "You cant beat it" is a pretty strong indicator that they need a nerf. Also your first point is rofl... I can't stop him from opening from stealth, sentinels have no reveal spells like some other classes do. Your other points are interesting but what it seems to me that you are saying is I have to totally outplay him with 20% life to even survive let alone kill him.
  21. Why are some of these responses telling me to use Force Stasis??? How could that possibly help me in any way, aside from prolonging my death by another 3 seconds.
  22. Maybe so, I am not a perfect player by any means. However you acknowledge I would still have died no matter what, so I guess its irrelevant.
  23. This was half over half my health when I could do nothing whatsoever. Its not about the better player when one player can't do anything before he's at 1/3 life with a ton of debuffs on him.
  24. Trolololol.... Zealous strike has a 12 sec cooldown, learn what abilities are before posting that i'm bad plz. Also I didnt switch to Juyo form, I was in Juyo form. Why should I have to pop consumables every single time an OP decides they want to instagib me? They are 10 comms each time...
