    How does the reward system work? What influences the commendations reward at the end of a match other than win/loss, medals and mvp votes?

  3. Wouldn't it be better to ask for an ingame voip? At the end of the day the only advantage premades have over pugs is ease of communication, because the gear and skills are there even if they queue solo. I queue solo most of the time and i hate getting face rolled all the time... Still not a good reason to make premade queue... What i would love to see is better matchings though... might as well give valor some practical use. Create brackets of valor and stick in people out of the bracket only if there are no other players available
  4. You talk about it like it happens every single warzone... I can count on a hand the number of times i got immense lag spikes that made the game unplayable. Same with the times i was still in combat after respawn (and it only lasted a few seconds). DoTs after respawn only seem to happen at round switch of voidstar when some **** decides to put one in that brief period of time you get to use abilities after the round ends... The only issue i have with teleporting is when i get pulled by PT/Vanguard because the pull animation misses the journey and simply teleports me to location. I honestly don't see all this broken peformance... I don't have 12 valor 100 toons or anything like that but i think i play my PvP enough to know what goes on in warzones
  5. Oh please... the Empire represents evil, and in what good story does the evil prevail? The empire is meant to lose because it's full of bad guys, and plot requires them to eventually fail
  6. i never talked about player looting and bounties :/ What i talked about was adding vendors and the bounty board as in "quest terminal". These changes are so simple that if any dev read this it could probably be implemented in the next patch. Anything else that requires changing mechanics however cool it may be it still would take months before completion because even if the team is familiar there's still all the coding to do...
  7. in fact my point 2 was to add something that rewards commendations As for the other posts suggesting whole new mechanics, it all sound great and seeing them some day would be awesome, but recreating world pvp from scratch would take forever. Adding bounty boards and vendors is just ctrl+c -> ctrl+v work, and missions wouldn't take much longer.

    Dying World PvP

    As per title, i think that world pvp is pretty dead... Every time i go to ilum it's either republic controlled or imperial controlled 100%, suggesting that one person simply captures every objective by himself just to farm the valor bonus... I was wondering why there is no encouragement towards world pvp since right now it just looks like wasted space... Personally i think that these 2 very simple points would give life to real fun world pvp 1. Add pvp bounty board and vendors in the faction bases, since a lot of pvp'ers just sit in the combat training section of the fleets. 2. Add a weekly/daily that has something to do with world pvp objectives that reward commendations Thoughts?
  9. If i have a daily or more importantly a weekly to complete and i'm short on time i will quit a WZ where half the team is in pve gear... I don't see why i should be punished for trying to not waste my limited time
  10. yes i'd take less damage but i'd have less health. Doesn't that even out? I'm asking because my current build does get me through tfb hm with no trouble... I'm a bit surprised that i got my stats all wrong :/

I have the full denova set minus shield, ear and implants but my stats are 27.24% defense 48.08% shield 50.64% absorb... i have the DG absorb relic and wh shield relic, that i'm about to swap for ewh defense one. where do i fish 10% more absorb ? about the thrash, i only stick it in once every 2 or 3 rotations but the energize difference is still noticeable...
  14. Ideally with full 63 gear, in percentage, how much of each defensive stat should i want to have? Also, i understand that accuracy should be 0.... I've tried out swapping some shield for accuracy and i noticed that i proc energize a lot more often, and that means faster rotation in force lightning use, while the shielded attacks basically remain unchanged thanks to the +20% from dark ward...

I agree that ec sm and tfb sm should be on gf, but nerfing them is a bad idea... if you just want to see the content, that's what youtube is for, they are easy enough already, there are just more mechanics involved. Adding them as tier 2 like lost island is for flashpoints would solve the problem of gear requirements, of course with a little good judgment on the part of the one queuing.
  16. Or maybe while 4 of you were busy chasing a guy 40 meters from the pylon someone else ninja'd it? It's a really basic tactic if 2 ninja are playing together... expecially if one is a shadow/assassin that can become shiny and immune to everything... And for the hutball, i blame baron deathmark that says cheating is encouraged...
