  1. Have a "friend" who plays a lvl 50 dps merc LF a good lvl <55 Merc to run with in pvp. Needs to know how to off heal a bit and work as a tandem.
  2. My characters are not optimized for Huttball but it is still my favorite WZ.
  3. Season 1 never happened and never will. It was supposed to be for level 50s. BUT EA/BW fumbled repeatably and lost a season. Class balance, server Qs and rapidly falling subscribers killed them. Now level 55s will MAYBE have a chance. I would not count on it though... knowing EA/BW the way we do.
  4. I would bet a small amount of money on never... The developers have failed to offer a game with any balance. They have failed to act in a reasonable time to things that everyone else knows. (well except for to 5% that will argue against anything no matter how obvious it is) Each time they try and fix something, they make things worse somehow. And the big kicker... they fail to listen to their subscribers. Why would they now listen to you???
  5. The fix for PVP in SWTOR is to play a different game.
  6. The 2.0 twink is level 50 with full EWH/mod/aug. Just do NOT buy the expansion. EDIT: Of course there will still be level 29 (or where ever they set the break point) PT/VGs ruining lowbies fun.
  7. I am considering a different choice... it is called WoW or GW2 or even DAoC. When too many of us make this choice (the correct choice for us) than all the worries about Q times will come true. Because the population will plummet as the game dies...
  8. There are teams of 3-4 casual players who do not affect overall balance. BUT, There are people who specifically groups up to overpower the current group of PVPer who are Qing. These people chase others from this game. It depends on server size and time of day. I have had 6 or more Qs in a row where one of my friends/competitors have either been on my team or against my team. We had a good time whispering back and fourth the whole time. He also solo Qs.
  9. My best advice to u is to use the time between battles to heal up. I am not talking about when there is no one around but after you have finished off one guy but you have not yet re-entered combat. Just take the 4 seconds to heal up some before you run in. You did this well a couple of times but coulda done it @ 6:05 and again @ 10:15.
  10. I like killing all those people
  11. Yah... I miss DAoC It took 4 hours to take a keep sometimes but was fun for almost everyone the entire time. EA is more concerned with unnatural content and politically correctness than fun PVP objectives. WZs are increasingly becoming one sided. I think 80% are so lopsided it is a joke. I win more than my fair share as a pug but only 1 in 5 are even worth playing.
  12. YES. Let's say that a 16 man WZ (both teams) have 6 good players, 8 average players and 2 noobs... That seems about average for high volume times. If one team has 4 or 5 of the good players they are gonna win. When this happens every once in a while it is OK. When this happens every round because the 4 good players Q together it sux for the other 12 guys. Even the other 4 guys who get put with the pre-made. WHY... because they have virtually no ability to influence the outcome of the WZ. Any one of the remaining 4 can prob AFK the whole match at a node and still win. Any one of the 8 on the non-team side can play their azz off and still lose. THIS IS THE KEY TO THE WHOLE SOLO Q ARGUMENT!!! People want to have what they do matter at least some of the time. Now let's say that the same 4 guys are on chat and they are forced to random Q. There is a 50% chance that they will get to play with each friend per WZ on same faction battles. There is close to 100% chance they will play together is opposing faction WZs if they Q at same time. They still get to socialize and have fun playing the game. They are still playing with them all some times. They are in more competitive WZs most of the time. The complete randomness means that the teams will be better balanced and even the average players have an opportunity to affect the outcome. It also means that there is an ever changing makeup of the teams. Things don't get stale for extended periods of time. Most people don't go on 1-10 losing streaks. Let me point out that I am considered one of the better PVP players on my server. I almost exclusively solo Q. There are many players who I enjoy playing with. BUT I also enjoy playing against them. If you can't stab your friends in the back every once in the while... why have friends? I also quit about 10% of the WZs I am in. WHY, because I have better things to do than feed the fuxnutz with ego problems who like to gang up on people 4v1 and think they are good at this game.
  13. Lesson learned... Seriously, spending money foolishly is a lesson that every person has to learn. Some people have to learn it multiple times. If it cost you less than $100 for this lesson, consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky. Live life... Have fun, If this game isn't contributing to your enjoyment... don't do it. P.S. If this system EVER has 1 single item that is even close to P2W please join me in quitting this game entirely.
  14. I've spent zero. Hell I'm thinkin of canceling my acct and goin F2P. I have a F2P WoW acct and enjoy that just fine. People can spend their money on anything they want as long as it is THEIR money. I don't want to hear stories about people selling food stamps to by virtual crap though.
