Instead of constantly tweaking the classes maybe BW should make balanced teams. Only so many of your eight players can be any one class. Over the last week I have been trying to get my PvP weekly it has taken me since Monday to get 9wins! Now granted apparently the republic players on my server are not very good for.the most part but when an entire team of shooters goes up against an entire team of light saber wielding sith the carnage is spectacular and very frustrating. Maybe i am way off the mark here but team balance seems like it would be easier to pull off make for closer matches and would.really show which classes need a rebalance.

They should really make a huttball league. You and your guildies or friends could make a team bw could make a simple rotating schedule if your team doesn't show you forfiet. At the end of the year the two best teams play for the championship. While they are at it why not have speeder racing? Since they are all about the same speed you would have have a death race type thing where you could use certain offensive and defensive skills. Pay the entry fee and win a certain amount of cash and comms based on your finish place.

I haven't done any PvP since 1.3 went live, but all my stuff seems to be working as well or better than ever. Hell I am a little over leveled for Voss admittedly but the Sith masters usualy give me a pretty good fight but now i am chewing through bad guys like a fat kid does a big-mac! So i cant complain right now. I do have some new armoring and mkds i want to use but i am scared to pull the old ones and not ne able to put them back if the new ones are to high lvl for the slot.

The blog states. "If the augmeng slot is populated it will get an augment slot MK-# based on the higher of either the level of the item or the level of the inserted augment." Sounds like you have found a bug to me. I have been using the same pair of pistols for awhile now and have lvl 45 augs in. They are the pistols from the boss on Mandolorian Raiders. From what i read when i remove the augs i should be able to replace them with the same or higher as lvl 45-50 augs are tier 6 or whatever.

This is like the HK-51 cry fest all over again! All these things are optional and extra. I never thought the perks would be global that is stupid every character is supposed to be an individual so yeah they have to pay for their perk. Either way it will not hurt you in the least to not have the perk. If someone wants it nad enough they will pay if not they wont. I dont get the grief everytime something new comes out.

I didn't read every post on here but most of them so excuse me if this has been said already. Make sure neither you or your companion use any area effect damage abilities. Like grenades or Corso's flame thrower. It will snap them out if stun. I play a 'slinger so i cant be much more help, but that has been tje biggest mistake i see people make. It can be really frustrating when grouped and the trooper or smuggler starts lobbing nades all over the place waking up the baddies you and the jedi have stunned.

I cant believe this has gone one for seven pages! I didnt realize this could be such a controversial topic O_o. I still vote for situational awareness. I know most of us played one FPS or another and there are nicknames for every spot on the map because no one has time.to look at the silly mini map and figure out how may meters or whatever they need to travel to, but they know where the "heli" or poppy fields are. Anyway like someone said earlier. If.they cant figure out where they are and how to get where they need to be with minimal direction they will probably not be much use when they get there anyway.

Right on! That is exactly what I did. Getting Guss has made solo leveling a breeze! Best smuggler companion in the game IMO. I just wish you could get him earlier.

My smuggler wears the RD-05A "spider" armor. I got the whole set in about two days doing PvP. I like the look of it with the kind ribbed vest and the watch cap looking head gear. I think it looks like something a savvy smuggler used to hanging around ports and seedy taverns would wear. The only thing i dont like is the stupid chin strap they put on all the helmets. There was a "gunslinger" jacket that I jad for a while that i thought was pretty "techie". It had some kind of electronic panels and a boom mic on the collar. I know there is an orange version i jad it but dont remember what the name was.

Check the commendation starship vendor. He has the pilot suit armor. It lookes pretty "techie" i think it even has an enclosed helmet. Kind of like an EVA helmet/outfit. You have do do a lot of space missions though.

I feel the need to again point out tha no one is forcing any body to do anything!!!!!! Why do people keep saying that if the freaking bot is that important to you, you will do it voluntarily if not BW is not forcing you to do it. Good god if you dont want to sacrifice some time and effort that is your decision! I think the devs should stick to their guns now and then. Unless it is somehow going to hinder the game mechanics or some other issue that effects balance they have no need to bend over every time some person doesn't have what some other person does and decides its not fair. If you want the stupid droid make and level another charecter if not dont, but this whole discussion is getting pretty ridiculous.

Nope! Either do it or dont. Its your choice. You have the same opportunity as anyone else. If getting HK-51 is that important to you, you will happily do it.

If "meat bags" want HK-51 then they should put in the work to get him. I want him but i dont really want to go out if my way to level another character. If i do end up doing it great! But i am not going to whine about someone else having HK-51 and me not having him when i didn't meet the requirements. I dont really get the whole "i should jave it because someone else does and i should too" mentality. We are not all going to have the same gear or pets, that is what makes the characters unique.

This has been discusswd before i know but imo i think it warents a little more. The last time i was on a thread lime this i was not doing any PvP but over the last month or so i have really gotten into the PvP and enjoying it. If. BW wants to make cantinas more populated an easy way would be to put a pvp terminal in each insread of only at tje fleet. A GTN kiosk and maybe some more vendors, table games and maybe even some sort of pvp wagering would be pretty cool also.

I finally got my in-laws out of my house so now i will hopefully have a little more time to play. 10 days is way ti long for a "visit" and frankly i need a stiff drink figuratively and literally! Anyway i have only been doing my PvP dailies and then only sporadically but i hope to catch up on my class quest soon. On a different note. Glad your still hanging around Brosephine.

I finally played my first couple pvp matches last night. A guildy showed me all the cool stuff he was getting with the commendations so i decided to try it. It was pretty fun. I got in a hutt ball match and the map with the three big gun batteries (dont remember the name) . I pretty much got my butt kicked by the sith so maybe a 'slinger and the need of cover isn't the best for this but I still got a few kills and 210 commendations for two mathes. All in all i had a pretty good time.

That would be one hell of a big worm to swallow! I dont know much about the RP stuff but maybe once i hit 50 i might join yall with a new character.

Well since i am the best smuggler this side of the Core worlds (i made the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs...) yall can leave that stuff we arent supposed to talk about on my ship and i will turn you a nice profit.
