  1. Just got an email saying servers will be consolidated in "one week from now, on Tuesday the 13th of August." Last time I checked, Tuesday the 13th of August is about three weeks away.
  2. I loved that too; it was one of the few acknowledgements that there were other people on the ship. Throw-around comments from Vector, Temple, Lokin, Kaliyo and even SCORPIO all nod at their relationships with the other people on board, rather than just the single comment in the whole story which suggests a companion might like another.
  3. I think we all agree that guild planets are a touch overkill, but I really hope they implement ships at some point in the game, even if it's through the rubbish Cartel system! New Ops are great, new daily areas, and new flashpoints, but with the new attention towards guild experience points they clearly wish to perk up some things in guilds; if Bioware realise something, it's that guilds are an important part of the game and they did say in Beta that guild ships would be implemented to act as a meeting place for guilds as a community, for 'living space,' potential more convenient Operations portals on the ship, and more opportunities for PVP/PVE content in a guild to grow, where becoming part of a guild truly becomes something special.
  4. Certainly credits are pricey, but they are FAR more favourable to the ridiculous Cartel Market- one of the reasons we don't have guild ships and new guild content is because they're too busy developing new Cartel Market rubbish. Just my opinion I suppose. I pay as a subscriber to get new content free of charge, not to have to pay more to get the best stuff available.
  5. Which is indeed a terrible shame, considering the only 'first companion' I like the most out of all of them happens to be Khem Val, and maybe (although Kira falls a bit ahead, and she indeed does have an offworld quest or two) is T7-01. I don't even think the quirky guy has any offworld quests, but Kira does instead. My favourite companions come later in the story; while I love Khem and T7, every other class seems to have a far more developed and interesting companion than the starter. It's a true shame quests weren't designed for each of them.
  6. I know some people have had luck with it, but we've been absolutely ignored since Thursday with sufficient evidence and reasonable report in tickets and via email. It's a new low of customer service; we're not buying new banks for a while in case we can get the old ones back, but having to wait for three days with not a hint at a reply is appalling. We didn't ask for this to happen to our guild, so on Bioware's part I'd appreciate some empathy- I'm not sure they're capable of sympathy unless we pay them to feel it! I'd like some more acknowledgement and help.
  7. Wow, hope they do the same for us, thanks for all your help!
  8. How did you get this done? Ours are still unrestored with no word from Customer Service. No word from Customer Service as of yet though. Would really appreciate some help, I'm probably being ignored after I threw my last tantrum.
  9. Still irked about this for the other guilds who have been posting too, but I doubt Bioware will do anything. I'm giving them until tomorrow afternoon to do something about it but if not then I'll be reopening the banks. Don't think it's worth making our guild members suffer without bank vaults because of the pretty annoying/disgraceful change of policy made at the last minute.
  10. Same as me, best of luck to you and to your guild on the new server. "Shame on me me for thinking information as important as this would have been released before Transfers right." Haha I know; who would of though I could be so naive as to think rules would change after the transfer takes place? Guess that's this Customer Service for you.
  11. I apologise if the above was harsh and I know they're not completely responsible but I needed an outlet for my absolute rage at the fact as simple a thing as my guild banks after a FORCED transfer is denied of my poor guild now suffering on a new server to even survive. The original article clearly stated that if we had screenshots of the guilds disbanding and the guild banks we would be fine, and they changed the rules after our transfer. So, Bioware; please, if possible, I urge you to reconsider.
  12. Consolidation so far will. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed that too.
  13. Okay, this is the most rubbish customer service ever experienced. Originally, support articles told us that we would have our Guild Banks restored upon transfer by Customer Service so long as it was empty and screenshots were provided. This was done, and we were ready to transfer. We came over all last night, and midway through today they change the rules; guild banks will not be able to be re-granted by customer service on arrival. I can understand consistent rules, but when the same page stated that we COULD restore guild banks and it was said in multiple places only for them to change it AFTER transfer I'm pretty disgusted. You forced us into this, Bioware, and we've lost our guild name, people and size. And you can't even restore a couple of guild banks. We had two million credits donated for a third vault by a faithful guild member, and now you're TERRIBLE customer service team and poor communication will result in that being enough for only a bank on the Republic and Imperial side each. Have some perspective of who you're "consolidating," those players who still (God knows why) PAY YOU for Customer Service- well, we're hardly paying for content, given that comes all through the Cartel Market nowadays- and you give us not even our banks back in exchange, making it worse by contradicting what you earlier said. As a guild, we're really unhappy. As a person, I'm really unhappy and really again disgusted by this lack of customer service. This was pretty much the only reason we didn't bother waiting for consolidation, and you throw it away.
  14. Haha, don't mean to be rude, but on the APAC Servers and here recently "Bioware" has become synonymous with "bad customer service."
  15. For transferring, the responses you've got are correct. But if people read the CONSOLIDATION FAQ it says guilds will remain intact. From the sound of it, if you wait until they actually merge the two servers in one, guilds will remain as one. We hope this is the case, but some confirmation from Eric would be nice. I also don't want to delay the transfer as there are people on Dalborra who accented our guild's name, or altered it very slightly, and for them to get the guild name and not us- the original owners of it- we would be very angry indeed. So information on CONSOLIDATION - http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/6446 - as to whether the information presented is still correct, thank you Eric.
  16. I believe waiting for consolidation in 60 days, as long and perhaps annoying that will be, will automatically transfer our guilds as is said in the FAQ for previous Server CONSOLIDATION as opposed to transfer. Is this the case, Eric, do you know?
  17. Apparently there is an FAQ regarding consolidation- a forced merge as opposed to voluntary transfers- and unlike transfers guilds remain intact. Just in case any other guildmasters weren't aware information can be found here. http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/6446 - To us this seems a far more preferable option than losing all of our stuff. Just in case everything is out of the guild bank but if there's a chance to keep our old members who wanted us to hold their spots when they were on holidays etc then we'll be taking this opportunity...even if we're the only ones left on Dalborra! I know a lot of people will probably say these FAQs about consolidation may not be true but thanks to Bioware's 'diligence and fantastic customer service' () this is the best we've got. Just in case any other Guildmasters wanted to know.
  18. The lack of information they've provided us with is pretty terrible. Not everyone uses the forums; and the only 'official' announcement this has had is a couple of poorly worded posts which still sound as if the person writing them is torn between two decisions. You would think that an announcement in System Alerts, the news or even on the home page alerting these players on Dalborra about what's happening. Almost as if Bioware don't want people to know about it, how strange...
  19. We're doing the same, thanks for the advice. Which guild is yours? One would think if they forced a merge on us they might have put the effort into creating the technology to keep guilds intact...and yet I'm not surprised in the slightest that they didn't.
  20. As a Guildmaster of a Guild who are against the merge, I have some concerns. Each of them has been expressed below and I would greatly appreciate an answer to at least one of them, which hasn't been remotely the case yet. Nothing has been said, on top of concerns about personal accounts. - We have three bank vaults. Will these be retained for us, as well as their contents? - As the Guildmaster, if I accept the merge before it becomes compulsory, what becomes of my guild? - Our ranks are each awarded to people to ensure they're congratulated and acknowledged for any achievements they might have. What becomes of their ranks? - We have some very old founding members and friends who've not played in over 200 days. However, they believe they'll return to the game some day and wanted to retain their place in the guild so we could always find them. For sentimental reasons we also want them there. What becomes of the old players in our guilds? - Our Guild Members are our HIGHEST priority at all times. I don't really care about Banks or Ranks or any group achievements; I care about us being together. What happens to the members of my guild who move across at different times? Will there be a way of finding them? - Chances are I won't be going across early to the other servers. If I am forcefully moved with my Council and other members, do we stay as a collective? Do we lose any rights by not accepting the free transfer? I know it's useless now, but on behalf of all 746 members of both my Republic and Imperial guilds I want to say that we're pretty disappointed with this merge. We were contended with our server, and we're all going to miss those members who don't make it with us and the homeliness we've come to know. There's always going to be one person who makes it to another server we're on, and in our guild that one person always matters. To us, what we seem to hear making you happy is the size of your cheques; while you are a functioning (well...) business, we all believe that as a gaming company your first priority should be helping out the people who are loyal enough to play the game. I'll miss Dalborra, and I hope to see as many members of the League of Shadows and The League of Light on The Harbinger, where we will be merging.
  21. Destiny, not destroy, and why shouldn't I be leading posts? I am the original poster after all! And really, as I'm sure you'd point out, half of my posts is just agreeing with people and thanking them for supporting the thread. Useless, really. I'm honestly surprised over 5000 people have looked at this thread. I'd expect 200 at most to be honest with you. Nonetheless, what I'm honestly surprised at is that you came to the conclusion that just because 5,206 saw this they weren't for it. I saw a forum once asking if we could recolour our armour and change our appearance. I didn't reply, so with your logic that means I don't support the idea? Interestingly, I realise as well after using that as an example, is that that forum is now a reality! Funny what a thread can do with only a small amount of replies can have, don't you think?
  22. I'm afraid I have to be honest with you and tell you it couldn't have been me who booted you. I was informed you left when I returned from China and Africa for ten weeks, and unless I managed to download SWTOR from an internet cafe overseas just to boot you, which I find highly unlikely, it can't have been me.
  23. You mean Bugerk? You left of your own accord, we never booted you. We loved our founding members, and even though Vyxan and I (two other founders) are active we respect them so much that Dassir, the other founder you'll remember, has not been active for 143 days and even now when cleaning our older inactive members out as a sign of respect we leave him untouched. I recall you can't have loved our guild that much, as when Vyxan and I made the guild as well, and Dassir, we removed all of our alts from other guilds and migrated them into our own. For you, the guild was nothing but something you helped start in which you boasted of you level fifty Andynul whom would never join the guild; in your own words, we remember, Andynul was far too good to join our little guild, at which time only fifty or so people were members. One day we logged on, and Bugerk was no longer in our guild. Narzul and Cenn have since risen to fill the gap of the essential council membership that we needed and you abandoned. Now, if you wish to continue this pointless fighting then head to our website and go in the forums, but here is our friendly recruitment message on the website to be enjoyed, and we'd appreciate it staying that way.
