  1. I've noticed this as well. Not just for TOR but for the entire MMO industry. I don't remember it ever being this way, or this prevalent among the players. Even in gaming journalism, it's everywhere. How did it get this way I wonder...and why.
  2. <3 Lawrichai!!! I was away for a bit, (burnout and money issues), but now I'm back and i'm so glad to see you're still here! I can't wait to see that the new vector art, I got chills just looking at the preview.
  3. So hang on here. We can only play one MMO? We can't like two MMOs or like an MMO for it's own merits? Last time I checked, I was the one that was in control of my own money, and I made the decisions on how I spent it. No one forced me to buy TOR, I bought it because it had features that I wanted in an MMO, and it's by a game developer that I have lots of love for (Bioware). I did my research, took my time, and didn't let any hype get to me. I don't just blindly buy the next big MMO, because that's what everyone else is doing. This game is not 'fail'' to me. I'm having fun for my money. Isn't that what matters? That we have fun with what we are paying for?
  4. All I love to have, at this point, is a little mention. Just a word, or a 'Hey guys we're still working on it! Hang in there!". That's all. That would make me happy. This game is already amazing, and when we finally get SGR it would make it one of the best MMOs ever made. It would be, fantastic, to have more options for love and romance. It would make this game complete.
  5. Any word yet? Anything? Do we even have an ETA? I guess not.
  6. Same here. Trying to play out a bit of the end of my year pass....and I get so bored I log off and log back into TOR.
  7. Please. TOR does not need 'saving', and it never did. What it needs, is more players who really appreciate, and love, the game for what it is, and what it will be in the future. TOR is going to do just fine.
  8. http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/07/02/teacher-uses-swtor-to-connect-with-autistic-student/ Look at this heart warming story...then read the early comments on it. ....some days you just have to wonder...
  9. I hope so too Moose, I really do. I want love for everyone, ladies for my lades, and men for my men, and perhaps some male aliens as well (we are in desperate need to more romancble male alien companions O_O). As for Yuun *giggle* I'd like to see SCRPIO added too, just for fun.
  10. You sir hit the nail on the head. 100% in agreement with you. This is it folks, this is the reason why.
  11. Agreed, and it's sad....it really is.
  12. Oh yes! Personally I want Quinn for my Male SW (they were just made for each other). He'd make a better match, and I'd love to have my SGR sooner, as opposed to much later in the game. However it would be nice if both men were available for SGR romance, just like how they are available, to the female characters. That would be ideal.
  13. Honestly I think more control is needed really. If anything perhaps some way could be devised for the conversation to be guided and changed, from this complete saturation of negativity and 'complaining just for the sake of complaining', (any real complaints about the game, get drowned out in the noise), and onto other topics, and real topics about the game. I miss the days when we had debates about addons, rare items, and new species that we wanted to see. Let's face it, the General Boards are not the place to discuss TOR in any way, it's hostile (to put it lightly), and we need to have it steered back to a place where new and old players can discuss this game that...well...some of us really do love to play. We need to make it about TOR.
  14. Honestly the Community team here, has the patents of saints. Just Look at the venom they get here, when they actually 'do' reply, and interact on these boards. Would you keep interacting with this form?
  15. You know, at this point it has to be said. If everyone thinks that they have all the answers, and they can to it better..... ...then go and do it. Fund, and develop your own MMO. What are some of you waiting for?
  16. I'd love to hear more stories! Tell me everyone.....what's your personal 'head canon'.
  17. Oh this looks like fun! Male Imperial Agent: 10/10 Everything the male agent says is pure, solid gold, awesome. His voice just sends chills down my spine, every time I hear it. Male Sith Warrior: 10/10 Just the right mix of strength, humor, and cold blooded menace. He really captures the power of the Sith with his voice, and it makes his actions really come to life. Male Sith Inquisitor: 8/10 I can't always tell if he's being crazy, or sane, he gives a solid performance all around. he also has some pretty funny one-liners. Male Bounty Hunter: 7/10 He's a gruff sounding gunslinger, but, sometimes he comes off as a little flat. I just can't seem to 'get' into his voice all that much. Perhaps I need to try body type 3.....*ponders*
  18. *pokes head in* *looks around* Any update yet? Any new developments?
  19. How..... How did you.... How did you do that?! You are the master! The master of skimpy gear!
  20. My Sith Inquisitor.... http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l514/Ayane778/SWTOR%20Pics/Screenshot_2012-06-18_23_18_54_406250.jpg http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l514/Ayane778/SWTOR%20Pics/Screenshot_2012-06-19_02_01_16_640625.jpg
  21. I have a question, and I think this is a legitimate, and fair question. If this 'news' was about any other MMO, imagine that this was not about TOR. How would you guys feel? The same? Or different. I'm curious to find out.
  22. What bugs me, really bugs me, is that so many gaming media outlets, just love to dump on TOR. Even the positive articles have a huge side of 'Ha ha!" to them. I personally, never dreamed that I'd like TOR as much as I do and I'm glad I gave it a chance, but it's a weird feeling to love a game that is so consistently reviled...it's so weird. ...feeling like I'm the only one havin' a good time here. o_O
