I had a similar issue on two pcs. It downloaded fine yesterday, but re-downloaded today. Both pcs have the error. After changing the language, 5 or six times, and going through the different downloads, it finally stuck. My solution so far, is to just stay logged in. Otherwise, every time I open the launcher, it's a crap shoot.

Funny I am having the same issue. My ISP is Wow as well, in southern market.

When I first started playing the game in Feb, whatever build that was, I NEVER had issues with FPS. Whatever has been optimized just made my machine run worse.

Wow I had a nice long post typed out detailing everything I have done to get this game to play well. Firefox dropped me off at my desktop, and when restored all was gone. Long story short, it is set to low, as are many of my settings. some are off completely (AA, bloom, shadows) Nothing I have done has improved this for me. Don't get me wrong, I do notice a increase in performance when visible players is set from high to low, but its still terrible either way.

intel core i5-2320 (3.20ghz) 8 gb ram 256gb ssd nvidia geforce gtx 680 win 7 pro 64bit fleet i usually get terrible frame rates. usually 15-20 running around most planets it bounces all over the place. from 30-100 fps it only seems to occur when more people are present and bunched together i built my pc specifically for this game. i just upgraded my gf's pc with the exact same set up except she has a geforce 460. in fleet she usually gets 50-80fps!! it really is upsetting how much $ i spent on this gtx 680 and get such awful performance from this game. gw2 not a hitch since pre launch ::edit spelling::

i decided to cut my losses. it is so hard. at first i was actually considering paying for makeb if it actually came down to it. reading the boards and realizing this is something they should give to us, i am pulling stakes. i have been here since feb. not quite as long but long enough to really hesitate leaving. i just ordered that b2p and hope it will pass my time till something better comes along. i just cant go back to wow =( so disappointed

If the new planet were the size of an expansion released by the competitor, personally I would have no issue paying for it. However, if the content is small, say a 1/4th the size of an expansion to the competition, then I would expect the price to reflect that. I really guess it is all going to boil down to how much money they are actually going to charge for it.

------------------------------- ------------------------------- you answered well enough for me. thanks for the post. i am still undecided on staying or unsubbing. i purchased the box game and got the digital deluxe. it is bogus we are not getting anything in return. as you said though, will the cartel coins provided even be enough? they are banking on subs to purchase more and not being patient to accumulate them monthly.

good question i would like to know as well. my buddy keeps getting emails stating the free trial is about to expire in "x" amount of days. (it started with 14 day trial) i am curious if it will actually lock up on her or if we will still be able to keep playing,even if she can't level past 15
