One thing to do is get the vindicator armorings so you have the set bonus from the guardian DPS set. It's heavy armor but you can still use the armorings in medium armor shells.

Just... no. Everything about this, no. Don't augment recruit gear as it's a huge waste of money, takes no time at all to be full war hero. There are plenty of bad pugs out there, but voice chat yields a huge advantage over an uncoordinated group, so it can be pretty brutal to be with pugs vs a well coordinated team. Also, premades are a part of life in an mmo. Yes, it sucks to queue solo, so find yourself some friends to queue with or join a pvp oriented guild.

Here is the build i use http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#6010MZfGrRzfbRboZf0c.2 It works well, and i find the armor pen is better than CS damage. I also prefer misdirection to subduing techniques and humbling strike. Again, this is just my build. It isn't perfect, but it works for me.

Not at all, we have some amazing scrappers /concealment ops who everyone is afraid of in pvp, and we just did denova last night with one of said scrappers.

I am all for what they are doing. There will still be a set to grind out with ranked comms if you feel like it, but the difference is much less significant from WH-EWH than BM-WH. This makes pvp a lot more balanced since WH will be so easy to get. Bring on 1.6 BW! I want to get my chars in full War hero

I agree 100%. I would even be happy if they gave the F2P'ers unlimited wz's with reduced comms, or something to that effect. Having more people to play against makes me happy as a sub.

Half a level from legacy 50, and i have about 200k credits across all my characters max. Most i ever had was about 1.1 mil. I don't sell anything on the GTN, rarely do dailies, and spend all the money i get on alts (and it doesn't help that i mostly just PvP). I am currently gearing 5 of my chars (mainly augments, augment kits, mod extraction etc.), and that just drains me dry. Any tips for getting a few mil credits, so i am not constantly broke? Grinding dailies for credits is about the last thing i want to do in a game....

This happens to me when i have my companion out. Seems the companion window opening up causes a bit of a hiccup.

I made myself delete my level 50 sorcerer the other day, and it made me rather sad. I think i just hit legacy 44 or 45 (no reason to pay attention anymore), and I really could use some more character slots. I have 5 50's (not including the sorc i murdered), and the rest of my slots are full. I want to make a guardian, sage, maybe even a sniper, but i can't. And no way am i going to lose all the legacy perks i have gotten, or leave all of my friends behind to reroll. Please BW, give us some more slots. I want to play your game more, but it is hard to justify when i can't play all the characters i want.

*high five* To the OP, you can deal with them, just hunker down as soon as you can break out of stun and knock them back.

Just hit legacy 40 earlier this week. I only have 3 50's though . All the rest are above 40 (except my marauder).

Just play the game. You should be about 5 when you hit 50.

I would love more character slots. I am the kind of person who has a sentinel and a marauder, a gunslinger and a sniper etc. I still have more characters i want to make, but i have no room to make them.

Maximus has it right. I have the RAF speeder and i can drive through almost anything (except stuns) and almost never get knocked off. Just keep driving and don't stop or you will get knocked off quite fast.

I invited a friend who bought the game a few months ago, and i got the speeder. Your friend had to have bought the game and a month of game time, and at least a month has to pass before you are eligible to receive it. If your friend did all of that and you still didn't get it, then wait a couple days and if you still don't have it send a ticket to BW.

I think it is the 24th or the 25th, and from what i understand every active subscriber gets the pet.

I buff everyone i see. If i happen to be on the fleet waiting for a pvp game, then everyone on the fleet is getting buffed

Do you already have your legacy unlocked? If you are anywhere near 6, then just go quest on your highest level character. Make sure to do all your dailies as well (space missions, pvp, fp's etc.) If not, well, do the same thing lol.

I think everyone who has an active sub should get the free month. I can also understand why people who have been subbed for a long time, or have a lot of alts are upset, But come on. Cancelling your sub because of it? Really? It just seems so childish. But even if they had just said "Here is a free month, thanks for getting to level 50", people would still complain.

Wow, a great gesture by BW. Hopefully this will dissuade people from saying that BW delayed 1.2 just to get another month out of us.

Try DxTory. You can record at your desired framerate (say 30), while playing at a higher framerate (40-50). You will have to change some settings before it will work well, but after you get everything right it is MUCH less resource hungry than fraps. The only real downside is the file size. I recorded a pvp game on voidstar the other day, and it was >20gb.

Yeah, i believe it was under 1.5 gigs, so it shouldn't be a huge issue for most monthly capped people.

I really can't understand some peoples logic. It is obviously an important issue or they would not have taken the servers down during peak hours. To the people complaining about it, if there was a game breaking glitch, would you rather them leave the servers up so people could find it and exploit it, and possibly ruin the game for the rest of us?

This is in the patch notes: "Corrected an issue allowing incorrect access for Weekend Pass players."
