Yea Im love that nerf to troopers too. Now they cant just stand there healing everything while taking no damage. Now they require skill to use so they just rerolled I think. Still I love it when a trooper stands there and thinks there good using that gravity vortix until they get interupted then they dont know what to do next. free kills.

I dont think there OP. There is no "Great damage" at all. I mean 3 stacks of HD + recklessness and all ya buffs you can get 1.2-2k damage per tick of chain lightning. It's just sustained damage. Shock-thrash-energize shock-thrash maybe a maul when duplicity is up. Not OP though.

I know its tempting to change specs and all so I encourage you to give it a shot. I will however tell you that no other spec in the game including ops have better DPS than deception. I run Darkness spec but sometime switch to deception and play anti healer for my guild. voltaic- can hit over 2k when both crit. cast it twice and you get and average of 6k damage. Shock - 1.8-4k+. Maul 4k+ discharge 4k+ assinate 4k+. all those spells have lowcooldowns and it only takes a few seconds b4 you are full force again. Not even Troopers pre nerf could ignore that kind of sustained damage output. (Make sure you have crit/surge/power modifications and crit relic so you get the crits.) I'f you want to play true DPS then Deception is the way to go. Target healers and ball carriers/Enemies in position to have a ball passed to them.

^ Fair enough bro. However I know alot of people have already claimed it and we have heard it before again and again but The game is young. No doubt BW are reading posts and listening to there community. This is my first and only MMO. I will give it time. I still enjoy the game. I just wish for alot of work on pvp to be done. Im over going to illum to find nothing or going to huttball to watch deathmatches is all.

In my simple minded 1 look opinion. Will this not make the more dominate faction even more so? I was full geared before hand and I know what an advantage it is, as I am not a super skilled pvp'ist and often win fights because my gear. Pre 1.2 my faction won 2 in 5 wz. Already we now lose every match I have seen, I guess im asking for an educated pridiction of some sort as to what will happen to my server in the long run. Im chain losing for 20-40 comms and it's just not fun anymore. Still teh early stages I know but, I guess I would like more opinions on this thank you:)

Apparently Its good because you can burst. Well for me it does not seem to work. My character stands there moving there hands along with the project animation reguardless of how fast I spam thrash. Thrash wont hit until after the project hits. Not simultaneously. Unlike my sin. I can shock instantly and voltanic slash. They both have the same time interval. Only I have to wait for the project to finish casting before it lets me voltanic slash or security breach. Also when I compare my force wave/overload force. Because my shadow jumps in the air first I promise you it is not instant! Not like my assasin. What am I doing wrong? alacrity?

Hi, Thanks for viewing my thread, I am a battlemaster assasin running Darkness spec. However I use stalker gear beacause I prefer to dps and only like darkcharge tree for sustain damage and beef'ness. I cuztomized my mods to give me 75% crit damage from surge and 26% for crit rate. This is my first MMO and I have only been playing bearly a month now and apparently there was a nerf to stacking surge or somthing? To this I am told power is better? From my spec and gear you can probably guess I like to play burst to sustain single target dps. My question therefore is How much surge should I stack before I build power instead? Or prehaps prioritize Power first? Thanks so much in advance for your input on this matter
