So, started getting these a few levels ago on my Assassin and I can't figure out what they're for. As far as I'm aware Inquisitors don't get a companion with that name. I mean, they're nice for gearing out Treek because I haven't bothered to spend money to upgrade her mods but, still.... Seems a bit weird.
  2. Eh, I disagree. It's still really exciting to find that orange/purple because you can strip the mods and, potentially, keep the gear for a later look. I much prefer being able to look the way I want while I level and blues haven't been exciting to me since BC WoW.
  3. Avatar the Last Airbender. Thanks to some younger siblings I watched some of it when it was still on TV and got hooked. It's really well done, funny, cute but with underlying adult themes and such. So M. took this cartoon with a huge fanbase and butchered it. Lots of stupid changes, like removing humor from a story whose main characters are children and changing the pronunciation of the main character's name and leaving out, changing important plot points. And then on top of that it was a dull, lifeless movie with lots of bad acting and meh CGI.
  4. Yes, the learning curve is there. But a competent player will take the time to get it down well enough that they will not hinder their group. Also, as someone who's been playing MMOs for years... it's not hard at all to be decent at any class if you put a little bit of time and reading in. It's really not. Besides, what's the difference between that and someone leveling completely as dps then switching to a tank spec at max within their AC or vice versa?
  5. That looks like your average sappy romance novel cover. *facepalm* KILL IT WITH FIRE This man ruined what could have been an amazing set of movies based on my favorite cartoon and I will forever hate him for that garbage. I agree with your point, however.
  6. The same. Someone's not going to suddenly change from a competent player to a mouth breathing idiot just because he can alter his advanced class. The competent players will take the time to learn/practice before they grace you with their presence and the idiots will swap and hop into your groups like idiots.
  7. I love Alderaan! I'm excited that I'll get to go there for the event. :3
  8. I love her. She's adorable and funny. The noises don't really bother me but having three younger sisters made me really good at tuning out high pitched, irritating sounds so it could just be that. Besides, how funny is it for my Assassin to have a teddy bear following her around?
  9. I'm playing just fine on Bastion.
  10. Yes, because a competent player would suddenly become a mouth breathing idiot just because he has more class options available to him. If someone is stupid enough to switch and then hop into content, especially group content, without learning how to play it first then they were already an idiot. Also, people complaining should never be a reason against making a change. No matter what happens, people will complain. No. Matter. What.
  11. Re-posting because I ended up at the bottom of a page right before this thread died for a bit last night. I really don't see why this is such a "sky is falling" topic, honestly. The ability to change your AC isn't suddenly going to turn a good player into a bumbling idiot who can't play their class to save their life. If someone is dumb enough to hop into group content without learning their other AC then they probably weren't exactly competent at the other one either. Lol I also don't see how this is any different than changing (bear with me here) specs in WoW on some classes. Example, druid. One melee, one ranged, one healing and one tank spec. All with significantly different move sets and roles. And yet, somehow, tons of people are able to learn and use more than one of those at the same time while still playing just fine! Also, the people who are saying it could mess up raid groups. What kind of raid groups are you talking about here? This would only help the guild groups and such because if people are able to fulfill more than one/diverse roles then you open up greater opportunities for better fight comps, switches when people are absent, etc. The only place I can see this being an issue are pug groups where someone goes in as one and decides to switch to the other, affecting the group. But did you really want to run with someone like that anyways? Now, I don't really care if they implement this or not. I'm perfectly capable of leveling things. However, I do understand why people want to. Some people like to do everything on one character, some people don't enjoy leveling, some people don't have time, etc. And that's fine. Personally, I don't see how more options like this would actually hurt anything where people wouldn't just be acting like douche bags anyways. And to add to this, on the gear topic. Lets take my druid example from earlier. The druids have four specs and four (Well, three and a half... bear and kitty can share a lot of gear and be decent) entirely different gear sets. One of each spec. And somehow, people manage to figure out how to gear (usually) at least two of them so that they can be more useful to the groups they join. In fact, many of the higher up the ladder guilds require people to have gear for/be proficient at more than one of their specs from hybrids to pures because in WoW each spec on a pure dps class is widely different from the other, usually don't share more than a couple spells, if that, in their main rotation and often calls for a different variance of stats meaning if you're running both you need two sets of gear (or you're going to be spending a lot of money altering them ). I just do not understand why you guys are convinced that people wouldn't be capable of handling switching ACs when it's really no different from what tons of people do in another game. It's not like your average player over there is far more advanced than those here and it's common place in that game. The average player over there usually has the gear and knowledge to play at least two of their specs competently on at least their main character. Honestly, I just don't understand where you're coming from. It's not rocket science.

  13. Considering the Flutterplume one is a physical card you could probably just buy it off the web somewhere. I hear that you'll need to change your region on the account to get it to go through but it should work.
  14. There's a new skirt in the archon pack that comes down to lower-mid thigh and has a fairly simple design to it so it looks nice with dies.
  15. You have to pay a small amount of credits through the collections system to "unlock" cartel items to make them accessible to every character you ever create. I can (kind of, but not really) understand complaints about how it's "another way for them to bleed money out of us" but it's only a very small amount per item and it means you don't have to buy it again. Ever.
  16. I feel like the bigger problem here is the inability to pay for subscription, not so much the inability to spend thousands on Cartel Coins. Just because you buy a bunch of coins doe snot mean you should be forced to go F2P for a while. Either that or they should put in warnings before your 6-9th purchases.
  17. Probably not a good idea to mention the whole Chinese site thing.... Anyways. I had problems with this too and realized there's more selections than just "Visa" or "Mastercard". I had to select "My card type, DEBIT" for it to work.
  18. That's a good question, close to a year? I resubbed because I wanted to give this game another try.
  19. I wonder why I got offered a free Legacy/Guild change when I logged on. Changed the legacy one because I didn't like it as much as when I made it and the guild name change is still there for when I decide if I want to change it. Weird!
  20. Oh dear, that looks just as ridiculous as I thought it would. I love it.
  21. I very much doubt it. WoW could lose millions and still be profiting off the Sub model. Besides, a large amount of its player base is there because it's still sub with no micro transactions.
  22. There's a purple/pink in the introduction video for the dyes so it's out there somewhere. It's probably super rare and it'll cost me a bit when they start going up ont the GTN.
  23. So much agree. Please give me my pink!!
