  1. Thanks to this guide and all the pros already in game employing these easy tricks in their PvP, it's become easier then ever to get the boost I needed to propel myself to the PvP leaderboard. Thanks Vampirios!
  2. No, don't give freehugs praise, it will go to her head.
  3. This. Sometimes it just feels like they're queuing to intentionally throw the game.
  4. TS server isn't connecting, has the info changed?
  5. I must be doing it wrong then. everyone I usually group with is also an rper and I dont usually lose. I'll let them know to start sucking.
  6. Sorry I'm not commenting on your entire post but targeting RPers as the problem is complete bull. There's no correlation between the two. You have roleplayers focused on roleplaying that are stellar at PvP and then you have some that aren't. It's just the same as people who are dedicated to PvP, or PvE, or GSF. You're either good at PvP or you aren't, or you are new to PvP or you aren't. Just because someone roleplays as their primary pass time isn't grounds to discount then as a PvPer. I also think it's bull that the problem is people not playing enough vanguard's and guardians.
  7. Just ugh at the people that run enemy pylon every. Single. Time.
  8. I agree with Bastrus. You can't let them farm for medals, just like you can't let your own team farm for medals. It can't be acceptable behavior for either side. So how should we approach repairing republic PvP now that we've established all the major problems?
  9. Consider me disappointed. I wanted free placement not bound to hooks. Three dimensional movement and allowing me to make the stronghold what I want it to be... This is just a let down, and will stifle creativity.
  10. We must not be playing in the same matches then. Far too often calls for help go unanswered, or plans get ignored and people suffer from lone wolf mentality.
  11. The biggest piece of advice that needs to be spread is read and use ops chat. I'm certainly no stranger to getting belligerent when my team is sabotaging themselves by not paying attention, or any number of issues, buta lot of team organization problems can be resolved if people are willing and ready to use ops chat and listen to someone if they're trying to coordinate or call for help. I think the lack of organized pvpers pub side is responsible for people learning bad habits like this. Small steps can and will make a big difference, and it's important to try now more than ever now that ground PvP has its comm and credit boost, and double XP.
  12. I think it's totally within the means of this server's PvPers to save and significantly improve republic PvP. Frankly the biggest issue isn't premades, or too many imperials, though lopsided queuing can be an issue, it's a lack of competence or ability that has come to be expected from 55s and even 30-54. I believe that if we make a concentrated effort to spread knowhow, and give advice as well as pub side pvping classes then the swell of republic scrubs will drop considerably. Replaced with capable pvpers.
  13. Hey all. A bit of a question, and maybe I guess polling. I play mostly Marksman sniper and so most of my attacks consist of Weapon damage, and since weapon damage ( I think...) takes most of your stats from ranged, instead of tech. I thought it might be a valid notion to stack Accuracy vs focusing more on straight power/surge which is what I've been using for months and it's worked out pretty well in terms of damage numbers and killing. However, I run into roadblocks with tank classes, and the tool tip for Accuracy states that over 100% it lowers defenses, and as I recall from a dev post around launch Accuracy was supposed to be one of the big facets of sniper because it could hammer down tank classes . What is your opinion? Have you been using accuracy to success or has it lost its usefulness? Keep in mind. I'm not a number cruncher, I don't have a perser and I don't attack a target dummy to simulate results. Just my observations.
  14. Most of the people you'll find rping Sith here have absolutely no idea what they're doing. They want a Sith Empire that's more like the republic. Loose rules. Frequent parties. No consequences. Civilians and mercenaries on the same societal level as their Sith masters. They want everyone to be friends and care more about satisfying their social desires than playing a believable or not-laughable Sith. It's just bad and depressing.
