you can mail the mods to your alt this way, but I know for a fact that you can't learn schematics for Black Hole armoring by RE'ing them. If you get a lvl 61 mod that drops in operations, these can be RE'd to learn a schematic edit: lvl 61 black hole mods apparently can be learned through RE. good to know

I would like to know this as well. Also, it was mentioned that you can remove the mods from the BM gear before you trade it in for the WH piece, but is this what most people are doing, is it worth keeping the BM mods seeing as you are getting lvl 61 mods in the WH gear?

The value to you is in the augment slots. MK-6 kits are going for around 48K on my server, sometimes I find them as low as 42K. You also have to pay 30K to add each augment slot. So if there's 7 items(?) in the full set then 500K price is a little bit of a discount for you vs. the cost of putting augment slots on a full set yourself.

if you spec the med shield talents do you get the 15% bonus to healing for the duration or only is the bonus only effective until the shield absorbs the max amount of damage (~1.5K)?

During the week I stay up late, much later than I should, to play for a few hours. I usually play from around 10pm til 1:30am or so, and then wake up saying "FML!!" at 6am to go to work.

If you do get aggro from a random mob or two in a big pull, there's more you can do other than just shield probe and countermeasures. 1) if it's a droid, slice it 2) if it's casting or channeling a damaging ability on you, interrupt it 3) if it's a melee mob and there's aoe damage going on from your DPS'ers, take the mob into the aoe 4) if it's a ranged mob, look for an obstacle that you can run behind to break LOS 5) if you need a big heal, stun the mob with debilitate and/or flash bang to buy yourself time for a K-inj cast there's probably other situational things you can do too. as a cybertech i have a stun grenade as backup and if I need a heal I run towards the melee group and cast RN on all of us

Everything can be augmented now. augment your BM gear and then grind your way to WH gear and then augment your WH gear and then you win

I think DPS class that gets a healer companion early on has the least amount of downtime and thus the fastest leveling. So from the classes that I've played to 50 (mara, sorc, operative), marauder would be the fastest because you get Quinn as a healer much earlier than the other classes

I read your thread, but I don't see why the problem you had with a bad tank is specific to the Group Finder. If you were spamming LFG messages in general chat, you could have ended up with a crappy tank just as easily as you did with the group finder. its a problem with running with pugs, not a problem with the group finder

if your companion is fighting mobs when you use cloaking screen then you will remain in combat. however I find that even if my companion is fighting (which keeps you in combat), with cloaking screen I can still use the stealth to get to safe place. then I just wait for cloaking screen to finish its cooldown, exit stealth, then use cloaking screen again, and at that point you will be out of combat. then just dismiss your dead companion and resummon him and you are good to go. i did this a lot when figuring out how to solo the belsvais daily heroic missions

new 50s didn't want to spend 320K credits on a full set of recruit gear that is quickly obsolete so now it's free but if you already spent the credits to buy the recruit gear then BW is giving you a refund. and if you never spent the credits on recruit gear because you didnt need it then you just get the benefit of the credits. pretty simple, and a nice benefit to everyone
