  1. They said sometime fairly recently that they planned a "wizened" look for LS players but scrapped it cuz it didn't really work out.
  2. I have a male body type 4. Bald with a hood and miraluka headband. All these factors fit well with the voice. Deep voice, calm confident, powerful and a little mysterious type of character.
  3. Ya, that was an interesting bit of dialogue. Still not sure who wore the shock-collar, me or her... not sure I wanna know.
  4. Where does this idea of healing come from? id elaborate further but i already have a post on the subject on the previous page if you're interested
  5. I've seen this voiced all over the forums but it really doesn't have a whole lot to do with healing. I agree it does feel like having some unique force technique works well with a healer or really any sage. But really it fits a tank far better than a healer. I mean you are pretty much putting the guard ability on those Jedi. They're protected while you're weakened, taking damage for your allies. It's even referred to as a shielding technique. Thought it fit my shadowtank perfectly. Even if you aren't playing one of those specs, mastery of the force is mastery force. Seems that all you need to master such a technique is a lot of it. And all player jedi's have a lot of it.
  6. also, the black and gold imperial dancer gear from the security key vendor, that's what I have her in and it looks pretty sweet.
  7. nothing costs 350 planet commendations. Could be Warzone commendations.
  8. Got it at like lvl 21 or so, i think it was like the roughly 3000 affection ranking, give or take a couple hundred. Now I just have to wait until I lvled up enough to actually do it. (The mobs are level 29)
  9. 30 seconds? across the board? that's a little extreme of a change when you consider many endgame missions are half hour or more. I understand, you want to change it because it's an inconvenience to you. but that's the point, it's supposed to be annoying. it's supposed to be a gamble, time and money. i wouldn't object to a change in the players favor, (though not nearly to the extent you're talking) but im ok with it the way it is
  10. Even I get part of the BH interlude screen and I'm a consular... man i love bugs.
  11. I was made a member of the Jedi Council even though I was reluctant about it, and got the mender of the rift title. From what I hear, "The Emperor's Wrath" was taken out for the Sith Warrior. If that's true, then maybe they wanted to tone down on the unique titles so they got rid of it along with the council title. Although there's only one Barsen-thor vs 12 council seats yet that one's still in, so who knows?
  12. In the time of the original KOTOR they were, but the order has been almost completely destroyed and rebuilt since then. Now, jedi holding the title or rank or whatever of "sentinel" focus more on lightsaber combat than any other. From what I've heard a focus Gaurdian is more balanced in terms of melee and force attacks. Not as much as shadow but a fair amount. That's probably the build I will be taking, going for a movie-jedi kind of playstyle.
  13. frag·ile    [fraj-uhl; Brit. fraj-ahyl] Show IPA adjective 1. easily broken, shattered, or damaged; delicate; brittle; frail: a fragile ceramic container; a very fragile alliance. 2. vulnerably delicate, as in appearance: She has a fragile beauty. 3. lacking in substance or force; flimsy: a fragile excuse.
  14. basic stealth, in combat stealth, mind maze, blackout, force speed, 5 tools for avoiding dozens upon dozens of unnecessary fights from 1-50. I really miss questing with my shadow now that that i'm on my warrior or bounty hunter suicide running through packs of trash mobs thinking "I don't care enough to kill you." Kinda wish all classes were stealth classes
  15. I think in one of the betas, (haven't bothered checking the launch client), but I think the description for the zabrak race in the character creator mentioned different groups of zabrak siding with either sith/republic, explaining some of their different customization options. So ya, it works lore wise.
  16. Ok, so we all know if you're playing on a side with the highest population, (usually empire), you end up playing huttball alot. I know they said they're implementing a another same faction vs same faction warzone at some point, and that will help. But even with the new warzone you're still gonna have players running into a lot of the same two warzones again. So I had the thought, why not just have two teams from the same faction play eachother in the other in Alderaan and Voidstar as well? Bioware likes story? Fine, let's say the armies from each side occasionally get together for "wargames" or something. We all know war's coming after all. Of course they're going to train and run simulations and exercises in peace time. And with a slight change in recorded dialogue/text/turretcapturesymbols, it opens up the likelihood of variety for those playing on the side with a really high pvp population. And when you que for warzones as a part of a heavily populated faction you might see "Alderaan: Wargames" pop-up, or something to that effect. Just curious what you guys think.
  17. that's what I did, sure you can't take out the armor mod but the enhancment and mod were a pretty big boost to my stats. also depending on your class/companions, you could take that hollowed out leftover with the good armor, put lesser mod/enhancement into it, (or ones that are more important to your companion), and give it to one of you appropriate companions. that's what i did with nadia grell and my second champion head thingy still it would be nice if we could at least turn in doubles for warzone/mercenary commendations or something like that
  18. Agree with the above poster. I made huge gains throughout leveling getting a couple pieces of orange pvp gear from the fleet. A couple times I just got them for the mods, took them out and put it into something new.
  19. Threat meters? So you just look at some numbers and you know when to taunt who? Where's the fun in that? Kinda glad I tanked regularly in COH and only ever solo dpsed in wow.
  20. once i ninja capped EVERY point in voidstar... doors, the bridge, the forcefield, the data core at the end... 0 "objective" points
  21. Used qyzen pretty regular up through around 30, and then sometimes on and off until nadia. early in my tanking career we both were in tanking mode and just off-tanked for eachother i guess you could say. as i gained some better skills/gear, and as he became a little more dpsy i started keeping him in dps stance. and if a boss fight ever got pretty rough i'd wait till i was about 1/3 health or so and have qyzen go into tank mode than taunt the boss off of me. we'd usually beat the boss down well before qyzen came close to falling. but at the alderaan boss fight and after i decided just to keep theran around until nadia, her dps is pretty freakin good for most of the game. hope that helps
  22. went kinetic combat up to 50, stealth was a big part of my playstyle... out of combat, mostly just avoiding combat to get through the game quicker. but if you really love stealth, as in combat stealth type of playstyle, why not level as infiltration? I never understood the mentality of picking the "best" levelling spec then respeccing in endgame which is what it sounds like ur going for. i've heard of future kinetic tanks levelling in balance. future infiltration shadows levelling as kinetics... i don't get it. I say try respeccing into the playstyle u love so much, mess around killing some low-level trashmobs to get the good handle on your rotations that u'd normally get levelling with them in the first place... and then enjoy the game.
  23. Oh ya, forgot I was in a guardian thread already. All the b**** threads start to blur together after a while.
