  1. The idea to replay is nice, and now that chapter repeat is a part of Galactic Command it could actually be a way to promote that feature if you award appropriate points. I would say that we should be able to select a planet from the original story and replay the class quests from that planet. It would be nice if it was coupled with the interactions from the class love interest that were unlocked during the time on the planet. For Example you would go to Galactic Command and in chapters select Nar Shaddaa. It would quick travel you to the holocall from the class quest giver, you would complete the missions on the planet. Return to your ship where you could interact with the crewmembers who were present and had interactions unlocked during that planet. Finally, you would holocall the quest giver which would send you back to Odessan where you would receive an appropriate amount of command points, influence, LS/DS, credits and items.
  2. @JediRelentless I actually posted that in reverse order. The addition of those 2 in the Vaylin fight was for story rather than mechanics pusrposes, but also unnecessary in the grand scheme. This is actually about minimizing waste and placating the highest number of fans. Based on BW's track record they could ignore the complaints or they could go for months of themed weapons, armor, mounts, decotations... I am trying to offer suggestions to steer them to the Shae Vizla and the Rapid Recon Walker level of resources versus HK-55. A large block of text in a letter, coupled with more expository text in the alliance alert. Talk to Oggurobb on his pedestal. He gives a brief verbal explanation and motions offscreen to stock grunts of Sanae-Rae and a few light flashes. Scene cuts and opens in the command center where resurrected companion says a few lines and everyone moves on with their lives. Vaylin would be trickier if they go that route, but could easily explain it as she is no longer the freakishly powerful force user she had been and is now on the average level, possibly with Senya and Arcann attempting to help her depending on prior choices. @Paulsutherland In theory the alliance could shove his essence into a new cloned body. But I always pictured him as a force ghost companion. @Eshvara Cytharat is already requested numerous times on the forum. Seems not many chose to kill him, but I like the idea of an out of control force nexus creating problems. So Dark Forces II will be the inspiration for the next Expac. @MollyDresden My thoughts on the subject were on ways that they don't have to change the existing game cinematics/story but still create the desired effects. I definitely agree with your sentiments and would say that the choices would be: Let the dead rest/don't disturb the natural order...(LS) I miss them/I need their skills...(Neutral) Frankenstein rant/Embed controls in the clone so I have complete control...(DS)
  3. I think I would prefer Lord Cytharat and Lemda Avesta to join as story companions with an official alliance alert. Same with Jakarro and the GSF crew. As far as off story; General Garza, Nok Drayen, Hunter(Imperial Agent Star Cabal) and Master Orgus Din(force ghost) would be cool.
  4. I was thinking that those of us who chose to release Lord Dramath shouldn't have to fight Vaylin alone. I think Vaylin should have forced drained a substantial amount of energy from Vette/Torian, similar to how Valkorian absorbs Vaylin, and it allows them to join the outlander in the fight against Vaylin. In addition maybe add, possibly as a subscriber bonus, an in story resurrection of Vette/Torian from within the holocron by Sana-Rae extracting the soul, and with the help of Dr. Oggurobb placing it into a cloned body. Could be done for Vaylin as well. With an option to resurrect no one and letting the dead rest.
  5. Was wondering if you could add new ways to sort characters at the login in screen. Last login is a good choice, but was hoping that you could have an ascending/descending choice. In addition, I think ascending/descending for class type, role type and level would be a nice QoL help.
  6. I agree on the low-1 man ops for story purposes, but dislike offering high end gear. Leave the high end gear for people who need the boost for HM and NiM ops, I also think that they can have a few rare mounts and decos for running on HM or above. We will get new gear if/when they release a new expansion that raises our level. Spectator mode seems like an interesting idea if well implemented and not causing slow down.
  7. The games that offer lifetime are mostly games built around existing IP. They go after the users with hype and pomp and most people get them since it does seem to be a good deal. They gain more profit by offering expansion packs, usually at a premium price since they don't necessarily get as much sub money to help lower its cost. They also utilize a similar setup to the cartel market to increase cash flow. The counter to your argument is that they get 2 years worth of sub money upfront to pare down the investment cost. They are also betting/realizing that the huge base of casuals won't normally spend 2 years worth of subscription fees normally so they weigh that against the amount of "whales" who would have still paid sub fees after 2 years. Of course, whales are also more likely to purchase cartel coins so the amount of projected loss is further mitigated. The time to release a lifetime subscription would have been at launch or at release of the KotFE/KotET/etc. arc. Releasing one now could be seen as a quick cash grab and insinuate trouble for SWTOR. They could still release one in the future, but it would have to be at a time when they were doing something that would get a lot of new eyes on the product. Such as at the launch of the console version, or at the conclusion of the Zakuul arc and beginning of whatever comes next say the "Yuuzhan Vong precursor" wars.
  8. The Galactic Starfighter crew members should join the Alliance already. There are 8 crew members (Ashy, Kendra, Oro, B-3G9, Aven, M-13, Writch and Salana) who could be added in our struggle against Zakuul. I appreciate the sentiment that you want to encourage players to explore other facets of the game, however, these are better choices than the current setup with Pierce and M1-4X. I would suggest lowering the amount of PvP missions for Pierce and M1 to four missions and then add the four cross faction crewmates every four missions. Then when you win 25 or more matches you get Baron Deathmark. Or insert these every four missions and leave Pierce and M1 at 20 total. The 4 same faction crewmates would be acquired through completion of Kuat Drive flashpoint in addition to GSF and/or regular PvP.
  9. It could in theory work, but would have to be tweaked considerably. The biggest problem is that new content is directly linked to a subscription which creates a dilemma. They could sell the perks of subbing for a massive markup on the CM. So, for $90 you could purchase the adventure unlock that lifted the credit cap, space missions and xp gain limit. For $125 you would purchase the Ops and HMFP for life, and for $85 you could unlock the PvP and GSF. Then of course you could purchase KotET with or without bonus releases for another large amount. Lifetime sub could also work if they returned to selling expansions rather than monthly releases and ceased to unlock the content on a monthly basis. Or if they developed a pricing mechanism so that Lifers could purchase the new content at a reduced rate. @JGWarner The Cartel Market should help abate the loss of revenue as a minimal grant and fast updating content helps encourage players to spend that extra cash rather than what to accrue the total over time. But I agree, Lifetime subs are setup to recoup an initial investment and unless they find a way to add revenue streams or add a separate but lessened cost for new content it would just hurt them in the long run.
  10. The Alliance alerts in KotFE had the goal of reuniting the players with the companions who would have minimal inclusion within the main storyline. At this point it seems that most of the companions who will not receive a dedicated chapter have been acquired putting the future of Alliance Alerts in question. While I prefer the more interactive setup of full chapters, the minimalist design of the Alliance Alerts offers more opportunity to create content for reduced cost. I think you should produce Alliance Events like the "plan" Gault mentioned in chapter XIII. These would definitely add more dimensions for the interesting cross class companion interactions you mentioned in prior interviews. Such as Vette and Risha stealing Twi'lek artifacts with the help of the "Outlander" for an alert. In addition I think that weekly repeatable mission for the love interests is long overdue. 7 Love interests currently exist and more returning (possibly being created) for KotET. I suggest that 1-3 of these be used as a starting point. [Weekly] Downtime: Ship, [Weekly] Downtime: Odessan Cantina, [Weekly] Downtime: Odessan Personal Quarters. The Outlander would then travel to these locations and activate the interaction. Of course I would prefer these missions to be fully voiced by the player character, but whatever allows this type of content to be developed regularly would be acceptable.
  11. I had a similar thought. This game needs repeatable conversations especially for the Love Interests. My idea, however, was to have 3 [Weekly] missions provided by either the alliance alert system, or your special terminal on the ship. Something like [Weekly] Downtime: Ship, [Weekly] Downtime: Odessan Cantina, [Weekly] Downtime: Odessan Personal Quarters. When activated you would go to one of the three places and have the area appropriate conversation with your Love Interest. I would prefer for both characters to be voiced, but would settle for the KotFE alliance style to increase options and/or conversation length, having the LI have twice as many responses since they are only paying for 1 VA. Obviously they would only be available for the 7 LI available at this point in the story, but more could be added as KotET chapters were released.
  12. I would recommend the KotFE main story for 1 of every background. Then for the Alliance system you send 1 Pub, 1 Imp, and whoever had the character in the main storyline. The varying interactions can be quite interesting. I aim to try and get the Alliance system so far available on all 13 of my toons before January so I may take a break and come back later.
  13. You seem to think how I originally did, for economic reasons I figured they would ditch the old and concentrate on the new. However, from the statements, answers and demos I think that you are right, but ignoring your own analogy. Garrus and Tali did rejoin the crew, while Wrex became a quest giver, Ash/Kaiden left curtly and Liara became a temp teammate. This honestly now reminds me the most of Liara and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Each month we will get a $15 dollar dlc set that focuses on a collection of old and new companions who serve as quest/background info givers and companions. The other old and new companions not selected will go mute for the month.
  14. Since the gear is no longer stat important, and we have things like the covert armor set and underwear, maybe you can make the original clothing the new "naked" state.
  15. These questions have been asked already, but repetition stresses importance so here goes: 1. Will returning companions be retaining their customizations when we reencounter them? 2. Will new comps get customizations, and will old comps get new customizations? 3. Will comps new multi-role status apply to old comps in pre-KotFE content? 4. Will comps stat increases divorced from gear apply to pre-KotFE content, or just post content? 5. How does the comp growth stats work? Is it like starter gear in each slot which keeps them functional at all levels? If so will we be able to give them better gear? or is it more like Yavin where they will have at or near ultimate stats at each level?
  16. I consider what they gave us to be hotpants. They seem to have pants. capris, bikinis, skirts, dresses and the recently added trunks(hotpants). I think I would like mid to full thigh cover unisex shorts.
  17. I dunno. This one kinda seems like the Echani just add some pointy elf ears and call it, although I think they only have like 3 fingers. Rather than a new species I would sooner they just add red skin and blue hair. We would get it sooner and it would be cheaper to change into with appearance editor.
  18. I like companion customizations. I think that you could add a tab to the legacy to act much like character perks. These perks would be limited to companion appearance customization. This way you could spend Cartel Coins or credits in order to see red skinned Vette, blonde Kira or green Khem Val from the beginning. Not sure how it would function, but if purchase would have an unjoined companion equip it and then grey out the options might work. If it also included server unlocked appearances that would be nice.
  19. I like the meditative padawans. My Counselor has a few training in front of datacrons and the lightsaber forge. However, this has caused the other members of my legacy to become jealous. Now that want followers to train as well. I think that a future set should include: A padawan using a training saber.(knight) Reskins of the two padawans and called apprentices.(warrior. sorcerer) A rifleman/pistoleer/canoneer. I was thinking they could have an animation of readying their weapon, aiming their weapon and then holstering their weapon.(trooper, hunter) The agent/smuggler are a little harder to nail down, but I guess you could have someone using a datapad and called a slicer. I am uncertain if these are already in game but a humanoid shaped target would also be a nice addition.
  20. I have seen and liked the idea of a Rishi Stronghold. In addition to the stronghold I would like a tightening of Daily quests in the area. You could charge for this area à la Section X to cover expenses as my storyline would require a return of D4's voice artist. I was thinking that if you added in a new Rishi Island you could make it a quest chain that turned into a dailies area similar to Oricon. Here you would discover that while the lower echelon of Novas are okay with the new Jakkaro/anarchical leadership the upper ranks are resentful. They have decided that if the Nova Blades can't have the Cove, no one can. They are planning a "scorched earth" and need to be stopped. After subduing/slaughtering the leadership you would discover an island removed from the charts. This would now be unlocked for purchase in the stronghold vendor. You could also sweeten the pot if needed, adding in a grateful Rishii(no life debt, just wants to see space and help you) as a ship droid style companion.
  21. I am torn. I like the idea of individual pieces. However, I was thinking that rather than each individual piece they could make a prefab set that functions as a jukebox, or the speakers or musicians themselves could be the jukebox. My NS Sky Palace needs live entertainment. I have a menagerie(live pets and mounts), a garage(inanimate pets and mounts), gambling area(dejarik, casino table and the one interactive slot), a museum(relics, trophies and cultural pieces) and a bar area. I will need live entertainment aside from the Twi'lek dancers in order to make my place a true high roller casino. Also more interactive slot machine types would be nice.
  22. Due to the ease of acquiring Treek I was wondering if a similar system could work for HK-51. I know that he can be purchased for individual characters or found through the quest. However, I was thinking that if you placed an item on the cartel market it would give you the pieces needed to complete the post Theoretika HK-51 quest. It could work the same as Treek's contract and be available for purchase in game with credits or on the Cartel Market, and then unlocked afterwards. I think it would work well and drive up the desire to purchase Section X authorization for new players since it will be much easier to acquire the parts for the quest, and you would need to finish the quest on each toon.
  23. I like the idea of switching the weekly to drop the H4. I also think that increasing the H4 reward could help. Have the H4 drop 2 Ultimate comms might bring people back. Although I think just separating the weekly would work best.
  24. I support the import/export key map. And store the info on our computers so we can move it to various computers we might use.
  25. I like the increase of stack sizes, and credit storage on the bank. I wouldn't mind if they added a 5 credit deposit fee since it currently costs that much to mail the money from alts anyway. It seems that mostly the increase is for crafting purposes, it is why I want it, so maybe they could just release a "crafting mats container" on the Cartel Market.
